A flow-injection procedure combining electrolytic sample decomposition and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) is proposed in order to rapidly determine the content of silicon in high-silicon electrical steel. This system is characterized by sample decomposition through electrolysis directly coupled to ICP-AES. A steel sample is dissolved by electrolysis using a 6 mol L(-1) HCl solution as an electrolyte with a flow rate of 5 mL min(-1); the electrolyte containing a dissolved sample is subsequently introduced into ICP-AES via a nebulizer. The effects of the electrolysis current and the temperature on the decomposition of the sample were studied. Samples were electrolyzed under the condition of a 1.5 A constant current, at room temperature (25 degrees C) to avoid the hydrolysis of silicon to precipitate. Comparing the analytical results of steel samples obtained by this analytical system with those obtained by the gravimetric method, determined values agreed well quantitatively. The effect of blowing with a hydrogen-oxygen flame on the structure of an OH-free fused quartz tube was studied by microscopic spectroscopy. The number of OH groups increased within 1000 μm from the outside surface (OSS). The peak decomposition of the IR absorption at around 3600 cm−1 showed that most OH structures were ‘free SiOH’ without the hydrogen bond, and H2O molecules were also distributed throughout the cross section. The distribution of the fictive temperature, TF, in the cross section was measured from the peak position of infrared absorption at ≈2200 cm−1. TF before blowing was ≈1420 K, which is near the strain point, except in the region within 200 μm from the OSS, where TF steeply decreases approaching the OSS. After blowing, the values of TF became greater than those before blowing, increasing steeply from the OSS and having a maximum at ≈1000 μm. The steep change near the OSS must be caused by the shorter structural relaxation time due to the SiOH introduced by blowing and H2O vapor in the flame. The distribution of the intensities of Raman bands at 495 (D1) and 606 cm−1 (D2) derived from the planar four- and three-member rings was also measured. 相似文献

A development of 170GHz/500kW level gyrotron was carried out as R&D work of ITER. The oscillation mode is TE31,8. In a short pulse experiment, the maximum power of 750kW was achieved at 85kV/40A. The efficiency was 22%. In the depressed
collector operation, 500kW/36%/50ms was obtained. The maximum efficiency of 40% was obtained at PRF=470kW whereas the power decrease by the electron trapping was observed. We constructed an assembled-type MgF2 cell that can function under a high vacuum (10(-4) Pa), and is capable of measuring the vacuum-ultraviolet circular dichroism (VUVCD) spectrum in a wavelength region down to 140 nm for aqueous solutions. Its path length can be adjusted by various spacers in the range from 1.3 to 50 microm. The temperature-control unit of the cell was also constructed with a Peltier thermoelectric element to keep the temperature of a sample within an accuracy of +/- 1 degrees C in the temperature range from -30 to 70 degrees C. The optical cell and the temperature-control unit were confirmed to have good performance by monitoring the VUVCD spectra of ammonium d-camphor-10-sulfonate and myoglobin aqueous solutions. A micromechanical modeling of closed cracks as flat ellipsoidal inhomogeneities has been recently proposed in [Deudé et al., C. R. Mecanique 330 (2002) 589–599]. The present Note extends this approach to the case of a frictional contact between the crack lips. For von Mises friction, a linear hardening is obtained at the macroscopic scale, the state equation in terms of stress and strain rates being identical to that derived for unfrictional cracks. The formation of mechanoradicals under anaerobic conditions and their reactivity with oxygen at room temperature is described for several methacrylic vinyl polymers. Observed electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra of the mechanoradicals formed were all essentially identical and are clearly assigned to a respective endchain radical. The ESR kinetics of the mechanoradical formation of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and polymethacrylamide (PMAAm) exhibit an interesting contrast; the progressive changes in the radical concentration in PMMA as a function of duration of milling gradually decrease after reaching a maximum value, while those of PMAAm show a parabolic increase. This discrepancy has been ascribed to mechanoradicals of PMAAm that are strongly stabilized by intermolecular and intramolecular doubly hydrogen-bonded networks among the amide groups. Such interactions also are to lower the reactivity of the mechanoradicals with oxygen. Thus, the mechanoradicals of both PMAAm and PMAA do not give a single peroxy radical, but rather a mixture of the mechanoradical and peroxy radical even after exposure to air, while the mechanoradicals of other polymers are rapidly converted to the corresponding peroxy radicals. Prevention of E,Z-isomerization of caffeoyl residues of a tri-(E)-caffeoyl anthocyanin, heavenly blue anthocyanin (HBA), and its stability under UV-B irradiation conditions were studied. We isolated four photoproducts from irradiated HBA and their structures were determined to be mono- or di-Z-caffeoyl isomers of HBA and mono-deglucosylated HBA. Under such conditions one caffeoyl residue, the innermost one, never isomerized to the Z-form, suggesting that intramolecular stacking must prevent photoisomerization. In general, anthocyanins are considered to be more stable in strong acidic than neutral aqueous media. However, with UV-B irradiation HBA was most stable in aqueous solution at pH 7.5 and most unstable in acidic methanol solutions. It was found to emit strong fluorescence on excitation with UV-B, possibly resulting from intramolecular association of caffeoyl moieties with the anthocyanidin nucleus. The finding that pigment in petals is more tolerant of UV-irradiation may be rational in the context of the necessity to resist strong solar radiation. 相似文献
