Development of a novel drug delivery system was made to accumulate/navigate magnetic drugs with the help of a superconducting magnet in order to control the drugs in blood vessels located deep inside the body. In the present paper, we tested the feasibility of a novel navigation system, made by applying a strong external (magnetic) field through SmBaCuO and YBaCuO bulk superconductors in order to realize the practice of using externally applied magnetic fields for targeting the magnetic particles to a circumscribed body region.  相似文献

Temperature dependence of zero-bias conductance of the vanadium (V)/multiwall carbon nanotube (MWNT)/V structure is studied. As temperature is reduced, the conductance decreases with a functional form consistent with a power law. For the first time, we find that the exponent depends significantly on gate voltage. This exponent dependence cannot be explained by Luttinger-liquid theory for ballistic MWNTs. We interpret the obtained results within the framework of the nonconventional Coulomb blockade theory for strongly disordered MWNTs.  相似文献

A warm-white light-emitting diode (LED) without blending of different kinds of phosphors is demonstrated. An approach that consists of a blue LED chip and a wavelength-conversion phosphor is carried out. The phosphor is a newly developed yellowish orange CaEuSiAlON ceramic phosphor with high efficiency. The CIE1931 chromaticity coordinates (x, y) are (0.458, 0.414), the color temperature is 2750 K, and the luminous efficacy of this LED is 25.9 lm/W at room temperature and with a forward-bias current of 20 mA. The chromaticity of the assembled LED is more thermally stable than that of a LED with a conventional oxide phosphor (YAG:Ce) because of the better thermal stability of the oxynitride phosphor.  相似文献

The cationic polymerization of α-methylstyrene with boron trifluoride etherate was studied in 1,2-dichloroethane under an electric field. The electric field was again found to increase the polymerization rate. This field effect was independent of monomer concentration, as was found previously. The effect, however, became greater as the catalyst concentration was lowered, unlike previous findings with various cationic systems. Furthermore, the field effect became smaller with rising temperature, whereas it had been practically independent of temperature in previous studies. The field effect increased linearly with the field strength. At 2.7 kv./cm. the rate was almost tripled. The field effect was small at lower dielectric constants, as had been observed previously. The large field effects observed and their “exceptional” behavior led to the interpretation that “partial” desolvation of free, growing chain ends, in addition to the field-facilitated dissociation, was responsible for the effect. Specific conductivities of polymerizing solutions and catalyst solutions were measured and are discussed.  相似文献
