Heusler phases, including the full- and half-Heusler families, represent an outstanding class of multifunctional materials on account of their great tunability in compositions, valence electron counts (VEC), and properties. Here we demonstrate a systematic design of a series of new compounds with a 2×2×2 superstructure of the half-Heusler unit cell in X-Y-Z (X=Fe, Ru, Co, Rh, Ir; Y=Zn, Mn; Z=Sn, Sb) systems. Their structures were solved by using both powder and single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and also directly observed by using high-angle annular dark-field imaging in a scanning transmission electron microscope (HAADF-STEM). The VEC values of these new compounds span a wide and continuous range comparable to those for the full- and half-Heusler families, thereby implying tunability in compositions and physical properties in the superstructure. In fact, we observed abnormal electrical properties and a ferromagnetic semiconductor-like behavior with a high and tunable Curie temperature in these superstructures. 相似文献

KrF excimer laser induced Cr film deposition from Cr(CO)6 has been studied. Remarkable film quality dependence on laser intensity suggested the photothermal effect contribution of intensive uv laser pulses in the CVD process. A cw Ar-ion laser light and its second harmonic light were used, to separate photochemical and photothermal effects. As a result, photoinduced surface heating has been found to be very important for obtaining good quality metallic films in KrF laser induced Cr film CVD. 相似文献

We study the distribution of emptiness formation probability of XX-model in the diffusion process. There exits a Gaussian decay as well as an exponential decay. The Gaussian decay is caused by the existence of zero point in the Fermi distribution function. The dynamic behaviors of cationic liposome-DNA complexes in inside and outside biomembrane models upon lipofection were investigated using the time-resolved quasi-elastic laser scattering (QELS) method. Inside and outside biomembrane models with similar phospholipid compositions to those in living cells were formed at a tetradecane/phosphate buffered saline (TD/PBS) interface. Cationic liposome-DNA complexes were injected into the buffer subphase, and their adsorption/desorption behaviors at the biomembrane models were monitored through changes in the interfacial tension. We found that the adsorption rate of the complexes increased 2.6 times more in the outside model than in the inside one. The adsorption rate of DNA alone did not show a remarkable difference from one side to the other; however, the adsorption rate of the cationic liposome alone showed a similar tendency to that of the liposome-DNA complex. These results indicated that the difference in lipid composition induced a different dynamic behavior of exogenous biomolecules and that the cationic liposomes played an important role in the faster incorporation of DNA into cells upon lipofection. 相似文献

Experimental studies of β-decay measurements of the neutron drip line nuclei 11Li and 14Be are presented. β- decay schemes of these nuclei are determined by measuring β-rays, delayed neutrons and γ-rays in triple coincidence. The decay schemes of both 11Li and 14Be associated with single neutron emission are unambiguously determined. New levels in their daughter nuclei, 11Be and 14B, are found. In addition, the deduced level scheme of 14B indicates the lowering of 2s 1/2 single neutron orbital with respect to 1p 1/2 orbital in the N=9 isotones. Such behavior is known to exist in N=7. 相似文献

A nonionic reverse-micelle based approach is described for fabrication of a network structure consisting of chain-like arrays of gold nanoparticles, followed by coating process with a uniform silica layer using a sol-gel method. Two new labdane diterpenoids, 15beta-methoxyfaciculatin (1) and 15alpha-methoxyfaciculatin B (2), together with the previously known methoxynepetaefolin (3), were isolated from a methanol extract of the dried aerial parts of a Brazilian medicinal plant, Hyptis faciculata.
