Silica gels doped with Cu2+ ions were prepared from the (3-aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane (APTMOS)/tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) systems. Sols showed a broad absorption peak at 640 nm, suggesting 3–5 coordination of the aminopropyl groups to Cu2+. For gels prepared from APTMOS and dried at room temperature, the 640 nm peak decreased and a red-shifted absorption appeared below 400 nm within a few months. The luminescence spectra of the xerogels showed emission bands at 430–470 and 510 nm. The former and latter bands are ascribed to Cu+ monomer and dimer emissions, respectively. These results indicate that Cu2+ ions are reduced to Cu+. When xerogels were prepared from APTMOS/TEOS = 1 (vol/vol), the color of xerogels was blue with an absorption peak at around 670 nm, indicating no reduction of Cu2+ ions.  相似文献

Nanoporous alumina membrane prepared by anodic oxidation using sulfuric acid electrolyte was subjected to TG-DTA and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS or ESCA) to further study the distribution of sulfur. In XPS study, Ar+ ion bombardment was performed on the sample to etch the surface at a rate of 3 nm min-1. As a result, sulfur was found to be concentrated within a depth of 3nm from the surface. The S content of the surface was found to be 2.7±0.5 wt%, and that at a depth of ca. 3 nm and ca. 10 nm was found to be as low as about 0.6±0.11 wt% (5.37±1.0 wt%→ 1.26±0.2wt% SO2). In TG-DTA, the mass loss of 7.3% was in fair agreement with that calculated on XPS results (7.1±1.2%). A ferrocene-quinone dyad (Fc-Q) with a rigid amide spacer and Fc-(Me)Q dyad, in which the amide proton acting as a hydrogen-bonding acceptor is replaced by the methyl group, are employed to examine the effects of hydrogen bonding on both the thermal and the photoinduced electron-transfer reactions. The hydrogen bonding of the semiquinone radical anion with the amide proton in Fc-Q(.-) produced by the electron-transfer reduction of Fc-Q is indicated by the significant positive shift of the one-electron reduction potential of Fc-Q. The hyperfine coupling constants of Fc-Q(.-) also indicate the existence of hydrogen bonding, agreeing with those predicted by the density functional calculation. The hydrogen-bonding dynamics in the photoinduced electron transfer from the ferrocene (Fc) to the quinone moiety (Q) in Fc-Q have been successfully detected in the femtosecond laser flash photolysis experiments. Thermal intramolecular electron transfer from Fc to Q in Fc-Q and Fc-(Me)Q also occurs efficiently in the presence of metal ions in acetonitrile at 298 K. The hydrogen bond formed between the semiquinone radical anion and the amide proton in Fc-Q results in remarkable acceleration of the rate of metal ion-promoted electron transfer as compared to the rate of Fc-(Me)Q in which hydrogen bonding is prohibited. The metal ion-promoted electron-transfer rates are well correlated with the binding energies of superoxide ion-metal ion complexes, which are derived from the g(zz) values of the ESR spectra.  相似文献

In the aluminum industries, there are several steps involved in processing since the extraction of bauxite to obtain the final product (Al). During the development of these, various steps generated wastes. One of them, from the electrostatic filter of the calcination step of the Bayer process is a very fine black powder, rich in alumina (Al2O3) that does not meet industry specifications, and it is discarded in the industry yard. Alumina is a noble material and has high commercial value. This black powder has great prospects for recovery, recycling, and future applications. Therefore, it is important to perform characterization of tailings and to do that we have used XRD, SEM, EDS, FTIR, Raman, and thermal analysis.  相似文献

Thermoresponsive porous gel membranes were synthesized by a simultaneously occurring process consisting of radiation-induced polymerization and crosslinking in aqueous solutions at various concentrations of acryloyl-L -proline methyl ester(A-ProOMe) without a crosslinker. Permeation of p-nitrophenol (PNP) through a thermoresponsive porous gel membrane obtained at a monomer concentration of 80% (w/w) drastically reduced around 14°C, the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of linear poly(A-ProOMe) in water, from 0.60 × 10−3 cm/min at 10°C to no permeation at 18°C, accompanied by changes in both size and shape of pores associated with gel shrinkage. Moreover, it was found that porous gel membranes with a porosity of approximately 60% had a greater PNP permeability constant through porous gel membranes with mutually connected pores obtained at a monomer concentration of 50% (w/w) than individually supported pores obtained at a monomer concentration of 70% (w/w). © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Polymerization of p‐n‐hexyloxyphenylacetylene (pHPA) by using a [Rh(norbornadine)Cl]2‐triethylamine catalyst was carried out at room temperature to afford stereoregular helical poly(pn‐hexyloxyphenylacetylene)s (PpHPAs). When ethanol and n‐hexane were used as polymerization solvents, a bright yellow PpHPAs, poly( Y ) with Mn = 8.5 × 104 and its purple red polymer, poly( R ) with Mn = 5.3 × 104 were obtained in 95% yields and 84% yields, respectively. Diffuse reflective UV–vis spectra of poly( Y ) and poly( R ) in solid phase showed different broad absorption peaks at 445 and 575 nm, respectively. X‐Ray diffraction patterns of poly( Y ) and poly( R ) showed typical columnar structures assignable to cis‐transoid and cis‐cisoid structures, respectively, which were also supported by molecule mechanics calculation. Poly( Y ) was irreversibly transformed to a reddish‐black polymer, poly( Y‐B ), which columnar diameter was nearly the same as that of poly( R ). Further, poly( Y ) showed an exothermic peak in the differential scanning calorimetry trace at 80 °C for 1 h in N2 gas. Thus, these findings suggest a thermally irreversible rearrangement from an unstable cis‐transoid form, poly( Y ) with a stretched cis‐transoid helix to a stable cis‐cisoid form, poly( R ), with a contracted cis‐cisoid helix in the solid phase to give poly( Y → B ) with the cis‐cisoid form. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A simple high-performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the simultaneous determination of the therapeutic levels of acyclovir and ganciclovir in human plasma. After precipitation of plasma proteins with 6% perchloric acid, acyclovir and ganciclovir were simultaneously determined by reversed-phase chromatography with spectophotometric detection at 254 nm. The peak heights for acyclovir and ganciclovir were linearly related to their concentrations ranging from 0.063 to 2.080 micro g/mL. The recovery was 100.48-102.84% for acyclovir and 99.26-103.07% for ganciclovir. The intra- and inter-day relative standard deviation values were in the range 0.186-8.703% for acyclovir and 0.137-6.424% for ganciclovir. The detection limits for both compounds were 0.01 micro g/mL determined as the signal-to-noise ratio of 3. The present method is applicable to therapeutic monitoring during antiviral medication.  相似文献

A highly sensitive, selective and simple method is described for the determination of histamine by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with fluorescence detection. The method is based on an intramolecular excimer-forming fluorescence derivatization of histamine with 4-(1-pyrene)butyric acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester (PSE), followed by reversed-phase HPLC. Histamine, having two amino moieties in a molecule, was converted to the dipyrene-labeled derivative by reaction with PSE. The derivative afforded intramolecular excimer fluorescence (450-540 nm), which can clearly be discriminated from the monomer fluorescence (370-420 nm) emitted from PSE. Typically, a 10 micro L sample solution was mixed with 100 micro L of derivatization reagent solution, which was a mixture of 0.5 mm PSE in acetonitrile and 0.5 mm potassium carbonate in water (8:2, v/v). The derivatization was carried out at 100 degrees C for 90 min. The PSE derivative of histamine could be separated by reversed-phase ODS column with isocratic elution using acetonitrile:water (82:18, v/v) containing 0.03% triethylamine. The detection limit (singnal-to-noise ratio = 3) of histamine was 0.5 fmol for a 30 micro L injection. The method was successfully applied to the determination of histamine in human urine, and had enough selectivity and sensitivity for urinary histamine quantification.  相似文献

Two conceptually different routes to transient 1,2-diselones are reported: 1) via ring fragmentation of the 1,4,2-diselenazine system 6, and 2) by the tributylphosphane-induced depolymerisation of the shelf-stable organoselenium polymer 15. Evidence for the intermediacy of 1,2-diselone species 7 and 16 is provided in both cases by in situ trapping with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD) to yield 1,4-diselenin derivatives. The route via 15 is especially expedient and trapping of 16 is efficient. Subsequent reactions of adduct 17 afford [1,2-ethanediylbis(diphenylphosphane)] [5,6-bis(methoxycarbonyl)-1,4-diselenin-2,3-dithiolato]nickel(IV) (20). Theoretical calculations at Hartree-Fock (HF) and Moller-Plesset electron-correlated levels (MP2) suggest that the cyclic 1,2-diselenete structure 7c is significantly more stable than the acyclic 1,2-diselone structure 7a. For the bicyclic system 16, the difference in energy between the cyclic and acyclic structures is considerably reduced due to the conformational rigidity imposed by the fused 1,3-dithiole ring. In contrast, the acyclic structures of the 1,2-dithione analogues 13a and 25a are computed to be more stable than their corresponding cyclic 1,2-dithiete structures 13c and 25c.  相似文献

A series of zinc(II) porphyrin-imide dyads (ZP-Im), in which an electron donating ZP moiety is directly connected to an electron accepting imide moiety in the meso position, have been prepared for the examination of energy gap dependence of intramolecular electron transfer reactions with large electronic coupling. The nearly perpendicular conformation of the imide moiety towards the porphyrin plane has been revealed by Xray crystal structures. The energy gap for charge separation, 1ZP* - Im --> ZP+ - Im-, is varied by changing the electron accepting imide moiety to cover a range of about 0.8 eV in DMF. Definitive evidence for electron transfer has been obtained in three solvents (toluene, THF, and DMF) through picosecond-femtosecond transient absorption studies, which have allowed us to determine the rates of photoinduced charge separation, 1ZP* - Im --> ZP+ - Im-, and subsequent thermal charge recombination ZP+ - Im- --> ZP - Im. The free-energy gap dependence (energy gap law) has been probed from the normal to the nearly top region for the charge separation rate alone, and only the inverted region for the charge recombination rate. Although both of the energy gap dependencies can be approximately reproduced by means of the simplified semiclassical equation, when we take into consideration the effect of the high frequency vibrations replaced by one mode of averaged frequency, many features, including the effects of solvent polarity and the electron tunneling matrix element on the energy gap law, differ considerably from those of the previously studied porphyrin-quinone systems, which have weaker interchromophore electronic interactions.  相似文献
