Al2O3 incorporated HfO2 films grown by atomic layer deposition (ALD) were investigated by high-resolution X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (HRXPS). The core level energy state of a 15 Å thick film showed a shift to higher binding energy, as the result of a silicate formation and Al2O3 incorporation. The incorporation of Al2O3 into the HfO2 film had no effect on silicate formation at the interface between the film and Si, while the ionic bonding characteristics and hybridization effects were enhanced compared to a pure HfO2 film. The dissociation of the film in an ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) is effectively suppressed compared to a pure HfO2 film, indicating an enhanced thermal stability of Hf-Al-O. Any dissociated Al2O3 on the film surface was completely removed into the vacuum by vacuum annealing treatment over 850 °C, while HfO2 contributed to Hf silicide formation on the film surface.  相似文献

The adsorption and catalytic characteristics of heterogeneous palladium based catalyst and its modified catalysts with gases (air and hydrogen) and acidic aqueous solution (HCl) were studied for evaluating the influence of pretreatment methods for toluene. The structural and energetic adsorption properties of the parent and pretreated catalysts were analyzed by means of nitrogen adsorption isotherms and gravimetric methods. The light-off curve and the XPS investigation were used for analyzing the catalytic activity and the surface state of palladium. It was clearly shown from the experimental results that hydrogen pretreated catalysts having metallic surface state exhibited the highest adsorption capacity and catalytic activity compared to that of parent and modified catalysts. The adsorption equilibrium data for toluene were obtained at three different temperatures and correlated successfully with the two-site Langmuir molecular isotherm model (L2m). It was also found that the palladium phase has more adsorption affinity for toluene molecules than the alumina support. The isosteric heat of adsorption calculated by using the Clausius-Clapeyron equation significantly changed with the coverage and the lateral interactions between the adsorbate-adsorbate molecules control the system. Furthermore, comparative analysis of the adsorption energy distribution revealed that the parent and its modified catalysts have different types of surface energetic heterogeneities.  相似文献

The adsorption of metal ions, a type of surface reaction on binary mixed self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on a gold surface composed of 1,6-hexanedithiol (HDT) with 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid (MUA), was monitored by in situ surface plasmon resonance (SPR) measurements. The differential SPR reflectance (ΔR) enables the kinetics of adsorption of Pt2+ on the mixed SAMs to be investigated. Unlike single HDT SAM, kinetic analyses of the mixed SAMs showed that the rate of adsorption of Pt2+ was enhanced and that it was highly dependent on the fraction of MUA present. These SPR measurements suggest that the adsorption rate of metal ions can be readily manipulated simply by using mixed SAMs.  相似文献

We investigate the performance limits of a pico-cell system using the radio- over-fiber technique with an electroabsorption modulator (EAM) in a 2.4 GHz wireless local area network (WLAN) environment. To understand the performance limits of the system using an EAM as the optical transceiver, we vary the optical modulation index (OMI) of the transmitter for different bias voltages to the EAM. Power margins in the links are found to estimate a possible service range, and packet loss rates (PLRs) in the pico-cell system are measured to evaluate the transmission performance. The total service range can be extended up to 3 m by adjusting the OMI of the transmitter for different applied bias voltages to the EAM.  相似文献

Titania nanotubes were prepared using a hydrothermal method. Hydrogen titanate nanotubes (H-TNTs) with an anatase phase changed to anatase nanocrystals at about 500 °C, and then a rutile structure at ∼800 °C. A sharp and symmetrical electron spin resonance (ESR) signal (g=2.003), attributed to a single-electron-trapped oxygen-vacancy (SETOV), was obtained at the annealed H-TNTs (T<500 °C). The SETOV signal increased and maximized remarkably at about 400–500 °C. Then, the nanotube structure appeared to be demolished. Yet, when the vacuum-heated H-TNTs were sealed in N2 or Ar ambient, some additional ESR signals appeared besides the SETOV signal. The broad asymmetric ESR signal (g=1.98) was attributed to a surface oxygen vacancy related to the Ti3+ sites in a reduced TiO2 matrix. We present a 532 nm-pumped singly-resonant cw optical parametric oscillator based on MgO-doped PPLN with a minimum threshold pump power of 0.3 W. The OPO with a two-mirror standing-wave cavity is optimized by using a tunable diode laser on the path of the resonant signal beam. The maximum output power is 200 mW at an idler wavelength near 1330 nm at a pump power of 2 W. We report the degradation of the output power and beam characteristics at high pump power indicating a strong thermal lensing in the crystal. The continuous tuning range of the OPO is measured to be 800 MHz which is close to 90% of the free spectral range of the OPO cavity.  相似文献

A thiogallate chalcogenide phosphor CaLaGa3S7:Eu2+ was synthesized by a solid-state reaction at 950 °C in a H2S atmosphere. The photoluminescence excitation,emission spectra, concentration quenching, fluorescence lifetime, and thermal quenching process of the phosphor were investigated in detail. It was found that the synthesized phosphor emitted intense and broadband yellowish-green light with a peak at 554 nm. Thus, the proposed phosphor is suitable for the development of blue or near UV LED. The critical dopant concentration of Eu2+ (Rc=15 Å) per unit formula was found to be 0.15 mol. At room temperature, the fluorescence lifetime of Eu2+ in CaLaGa3S7 was found to be 0.216 μs. The activation energy for thermal quenching was 0.29 eV. The chromaticity coordinates of our phosphor is very close in color to Y3Al5O12:Ce3+. Therefore, CaLaGa3S7:Eu2+ can be a good alternative as a yellowish-green phosphor and can be used for white light generation in phosphor-converted LEDs.  相似文献

A fast automatic calibration system for a sound level meter in an anechoic environment has been developed. The precise and fast generation of the constant frequency-independent acoustic pressure field and reduction of digital voltmeter readout to sound pressure level were achieved by a newly designed software algorithm, assuming the system linearity. The performance test justified the assumed linearity, and showed that the searching speed was sufficiently fast within the small error limit.  相似文献

We investigate scaling and memory effects in return intervals between price volatilities above a certain threshold q for the Japanese stock market using daily and intraday data sets. We find that the distribution of return intervals can be approximated by a scaling function that depends only on the ratio between the return interval τ and its mean 〈τ〉. We also find memory effects such that a large (or small) return interval follows a large (or small) interval by investigating the conditional distribution and mean return interval. The results are similar to previous studies of other markets and indicate that similar statistical features appear in different financial markets. We also compare our results between the period before and after the big crash at the end of 1989. We find that scaling and memory effects of the return intervals show similar features although the statistical properties of the returns are different.  相似文献
