The magnetic properties of as-grown Ga1-xMnxAs have been investigated by the systematic measurements of temperature and magnetic field dependent soft x-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD). The intrinsic XMCD intensity at high temperatures obeys the Curie-Weiss law, but a residual spin magnetic moment appears already around 100 K, significantly above the Curie temperature (T_{C}), suggesting that short-range ferromagnetic correlations are developed above T_{C}. The present results also suggest that the antiferromagnetic interaction between the substitutional and interstitial Mn (Mn_{int}) ions exists and that the amount of the Mn_{int} affects T_{C}.  相似文献

We report the development of a millimeter-wave electron-spin-resonance (ESR) measurement system at the University of Fukui using a 3He/4He dilution refrigerator to reach temperatures below 1 K. The system operates in the frequency range of 125–130 GHz, with a homodyne detection. A nuclear-magnetic-resonance (NMR) measurement system was also developed in this system as the extension for millimeter-wave ESR/NMR double magnetic-resonance (DoMR) experiments. Several types of Fabry–Pérot-type resonators (FPR) have been developed: A piezo actuator attached to an FPR enables an electric tuning of cavity frequency. A flat mirror of an FPR has been fabricated using a gold thin film aiming for DoMR. ESR signal was measured down to 0.09 K. Results of ESR measurements of an organic radical crystal and phosphorous-doped silicon are presented. The NMR signal from 1H contained in the resonator is also detected successfully as a test for DoMR.  相似文献

The form of convective terms for compressible flow equations is discussed in the same way as for an incompressible one by Morinishi et al. [Y. Morinishi, T.S. Lund, O.V. Vasilyev, P. Moin, Fully conservative higher order finite difference schemes for incompressible flow, J. Comput. Phys. 124 (1998) 90], and fully conservative finite difference schemes suitable for shock-free unsteady compressible flow simulations are proposed. Commutable divergence, advective, and skew-symmetric forms of convective terms are defined by including the temporal derivative term for compressible flow. These forms are analytically equivalent if the continuity is satisfied, and the skew-symmetric form is secondary conservative without the aid of the continuity, while the divergence form is primary conservative. The relations between the present and existing quasi-skew-symmetric forms are also revealed. Commutable fully discrete finite difference schemes of convection are then derived in a staggered grid system, and they are fully conservative provided that the corresponding discrete continuity is satisfied. In addition, a semi-discrete convection scheme suitable for compact finite difference is presented based on the skew-symmetric form. The conservation properties of the present schemes are demonstrated numerically in a three-dimensional periodic inviscid flow. The proposed fully discrete fully conservative second-order accurate scheme is also used to perform the DNS of compressible isotropic turbulence and the simulation of open cavity flow.  相似文献

Photoproduction of the neutral kaon on the deuteron has been investigated at the Research Center for Electron Photon Science, Tohoku University. We constructed the Neutral Kaon Spectrometer-2 for the detection of charged particles from the decay of the neutral kaon and the hyperon. We obtained a momentum distribution of K 0 with the inclusive measurement. It was consistent with the previous measurement. The total cross section of γ + dK 0 + Λ + p was estimated from the measured integral cross section of γ + d → Λ + X. The total cross section with respect to the photon energy was compared with the theoretical calculations. It favored the Saclay-Lyon A model calculation with the ratio of the neutral to charged coupling constants of the axial-vector meson, K 1, as ~ ?1.5. The energy dependence and the magnitude of the total cross section were similar to the total cross section of γ + p → K + Λ.  相似文献

An active resonator system operating at 700 MHz, which can attain a high Q for CW-ESR measurements of a high loss sample, was developed. This system consisted of a loop-gap resonator (LGR), a receiver coil, an excitation coil, and a phase tunable amplifier. A part of the RF power at the LGR was picked up by the receiver coil, amplified, and irradiated to the LGR again by the excitation coil, which made up a feedback circuit. Because the feedback circuit provided the energy that canceled the loss in the resonator, the Q of the active resonator system increased. When a sample tube (inner diameter, 20 mm; axial length, 31 mm) containing a nitroxide radical and physiological saline solution was placed in the resonator, the Q could be varied from 55 to 4000. It was possible to obtain a Q of the active resonator system with sample that was higher than that of the value of the LGR without a sample in a no-feedback condition. The ESR signal intensity increased up to 7 times with the increase in Q. The sensitivity increased up to 50%, which was a much smaller advance than that of the Q, because the noise level also increased with the increase in signal intensity.  相似文献

Nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei (NMR-ON) on Sc isotopes (A = 44, 44 m, 46, 47) in Fe were performed. Using the known magnetic moments the magnetic hyperfine fields were determined. The hyperfine anomalies of various Sc were deduced; 44Δ47 = 0.0 (12) %, 44mΔ47 = 1.2 (4) %, 46Δ47 = 2.7 (8) %. The measured hyperfine anomalies are briefly discussed based on the shell model.  相似文献

We prepared Au/gamma-Fe2O3 composite nanoparticles by sonochemically reducing Au(III) ions employing no stabilizer in the aqueous solution to form stable Au nanoparticles and allowing them to attach onto the surface of gamma-Fe2O3 particles with an average size of 21 nm. Size of the formed Au nanoparticle depended on the initial concentration of Au(III) ions. The number of the Au nanoparticles, supported on each gamma-Fe2O3 particle was controlled by changing the relative amounts of Au(III) ions and gamma-Fe2O3 particles. The composite nanoparticles exhibited a high affinity with glutathione, a tripeptide with mercapto group so that separation and manipulation of glutathione in aqueous solutions could be performed by application of external magnetic field. Because the surfaces of the Au nanoparticles were not shielded by any stabilizers, or naked, sonochemically prepared Au/gamma-Fe2O3 composite nanoparticles seemed to show stronger affinity to the glutathione than those by the radiochemical method.  相似文献

An imaging technique of electrically detected magnetic resonance (EDMR) was newly developed. Because the EDMR signal is obtained from paramagnetic recombination centers, one may expect the image to represent the distribution of defect and/or impurity sites in the sample. We successfully obtained EDMR images of a light-illuminated silicon plate 8 mm in width and 15 mm in length, which was cut from a silicon wafer (n-type, 100 Omega cm), under ESR irradiation at a frequency of 890 MHz (wavelength, 340 mm). The reproducibility of the EDMR image obtained from a sample was amply satisfactory. When the oxidized surface of the silicon was removed, the EDMR signal disappeared. Although the EDMR signal reappeared when the surface of the sample became reoxidized, the EDMR image obtained was slightly different from the earlier one. This finding shows that the EDMR image obtained from the sample shows the distribution of defects at the Si/SiO(2) interface.  相似文献

Three kinds of surface-coil-type resonators (SCRs) operating at 720 MHz were fabricated for in vivo temporal electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements. The inner diameter of the singleturn coil of the SCRs was 3, 4, or 10 mm. ResonatorQ increases and the detection limit decreases with coil diameter. The distance across which the microwave magnetic field can penetrate in the direction facing to the coil was about the same (about 2 mm) for all SCRs. In vivo kinetic studies of intravenously injected 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-l-oxyl (TEMPOL) were performed at the liver, kidney, stomach, rectum, vein, and skin of rats with SCRs suited to the target areas. The halflife of TEMPOL was estimated from the exponential decay of the ESR signal intensity (the peak-to-peak height). Different sites in the rat showed apparent differences in the half-life of TEMPOL. This suggests that the apparent differences in the reducing ability of TEMPOL are related to the organ or tissue where measurement is taken because no excretion of TEMPOL was observed.  相似文献
