Artificial neural network (ANN) and a hybrid principal component analysis-artificial neural network (PCA-ANN) classifiers have been successfully implemented for classification of static time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) mass spectra collected from complex Cu–Fe sulphides (chalcopyrite, bornite, chalcocite and pyrite) at different flotation conditions. ANNs are very good pattern classifiers because of: their ability to learn and generalise patterns that are not linearly separable; their fault and noise tolerance capability; and high parallelism. In the first approach, fragments from the whole ToF-SIMS spectrum were used as input to the ANN, the model yielded high overall correct classification rates of 100% for feed samples, 88% for conditioned feed samples and 91% for Eh modified samples. In the second approach, the hybrid pattern classifier PCA-ANN was integrated. PCA is a very effective multivariate data analysis tool applied to enhance species features and reduce data dimensionality. Principal component (PC) scores which accounted for 95% of the raw spectral data variance, were used as input to the ANN, the model yielded high overall correct classification rates of 88% for conditioned feed samples and 95% for Eh modified samples.  相似文献

Pyrazolo pyrimido pyrimidine ( 4a–k ) was prepared by the reaction of compound 3‐cyano‐4‐imino‐2‐(methylthio)4H‐pyrido[1,2‐a]pyrimidine ( 3 ) with hydrazine hydrate, phenyl hydrazine, 2‐hydrazino benzothiazole, and 6‐substituted hydrazine benzothiazole in N,N‐dimethylformamide and anhydrous potassium carbonate. Free base, zinc and palladium π-extended porphyrins containing fused naphthalenediamide units were employed as photosensitizers in antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (aPDT). Their efficacy, assessed by photophysical and in vitro photobiological studies on Gram-positive bacteria, was found to depend on metal coordination, showing a dramatic enhancement of photosensitizing activity for the palladium complex.  相似文献

Aging amorphous polymeric materials undergo free volume relaxation, which causes slowing down of the relaxation dynamics as a function of time. The resulting time dependency poses difficulties in predicting their long time physical behavior. In this work, we apply an effective time domain approach to the experimental data on aging amorphous polymers and demonstrate that it enables prediction of long time behavior over the extraordinary timescales. We demonstrate that, unlike the conventional methods, the proposed effective time domain approach can account for physical aging that occurs over the duration of the experiments. Furthermore, this procedure successfully describes time–temperature and time–stress superpositions. It can also allow incorporation of varying dependences of relaxation time on aging time as well as complicated but known deformation history in the same experiments. This work strongly suggests that the effective time domain approach can act as an important tool to analyze the long time physical behavior of aging amorphous polymeric materials.  相似文献

Landsat-TM data has limitations in measuring high temperature fire zones. The thermal data saturate for temperatures above 68 °C and intense fires occupying less than a pixel requires modification of the methodology. The present paper describes the utility of Landsat-TM thermal data for estimation of surface temperature of sub-pixel fire. The method requires knowledge of the fire area. The temperature estimation from the method is found to be in good agreement with ground observations.  相似文献

Enzyme based electrochemical detection method developed for chemical toxicant ethanolamine (EA). Monoamine oxidase A (MAO‐A) enzyme was used for the oxidation of EA. A direct electron transfer from the electrode to EA without any mediator with the help of MAO‐A enzyme was attained and this confirms the application of this methodology for the development of third generation biosensor for EA sensing well below the IDLH (30 ppm) value of EA. Moreover, heterogeneous rate constant (0.021s?1) and the number of electron involved (5.2) were deduced for EA in PBS buffer. The calibration plot showed linearity 2.02×10?4 M to 10.10×10?4 M of EA in PBS buffer with detection limit 4.1 ppm. The modified electrodes are characterized by Raman and Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. The outcome of this work indicates about the utility of this methodology for the sensing of EA in the environment if it is present as well as to degrade EA into other compounds without using any indicator or mediator.  相似文献

A systematic characterization of the competing kosmotropic and chaotropic effects of a series of divalent salts on the aqueous H‐bonding structure by means of first‐principles molecular dynamics simulations is presented. The structural properties are quantified by means of experimental and computed 1H NMR chemical shifts, whereby the local environments of cations and anions can be discriminated. Complementary to the well‐established structural features, a dynamical aspect is added to the concept of kosmotropes and chaotropes. The H‐bond dynamics, quantified in terms of the H‐bonding autocorrelation functions, shows a good correlation with the structural kosmotropic and chaotropic modifications, which are commonly referred to as the Hofmeister series. The considerably enhanced (reduced) fluctuations of the H‐bonding network in the hydration shells around the anions (cations) are a complementary dynamical dimension to the concept of kosmotropic/chaotropic behavior of solvated ions.  相似文献

Selective dehydrogenation of 2-amino-3-cyano 4H-chromenes to the corresponding 2-iminochromenes mediated by diisopropyl azodicarboxylate under neutral conditions is reported. The dehydrogenation reaction is compatible with phenolic hydroxyl group and generates iminochromene in high yields. The methodology provides an easy access to coumarin and N-tosyl 2-amino-3-cyano-4-aryl 4H-chromenes.  相似文献
