X-ray diffraction studies were carried out on the rare earth metal yttrium up to 177?GPa in a diamond anvil cell at room temperature. Yttrium was compressed to 37% of its initial volume at the highest pressure. The rare earth crystal structure sequence hcp?→?Sm?type?→?dhcp?→?mixed(dhcp?+?fcc)?→?distorted fcc (dfcc) is observed in yttrium below 50?GPa. The dfcc (hR24) phase has been observed to persist in the pressure range of 50-95?GPa. A structural transition from dfcc to a low symmetry phase has been observed in yttrium at 99?±?4?GPa with a volume change of -?2.6%. This low symmetry phase has been identified as a monoclinic C2/m phase, which has also been observed in other rare earth elements under high pressures. The appearance of this low symmetry monoclinic phase in yttrium shows that its electronic structure under extreme conditions resembles that of heavy rare earth metals, with a significant increase in d-band character of the valence electrons and possibly some f-electron states near the Fermi level.  相似文献

Combining thermodynamic measurements with theoretical calculations we demonstrate that the iridates A2IrO3 (A=Na, Li) are magnetically ordered Mott insulators where the magnetism of the effective spin-orbital S=1/2 moments can be captured by a Heisenberg-Kitaev (HK) model with interactions beyond nearest-neighbor exchange. Experimentally, we observe an increase of the Curie-Weiss temperature from θ≈-125 K for Na2IrO3 to θ≈-33 K for Li2IrO3, while the ordering temperature remains roughly the same T(N)≈15 K. Using functional renormalization group calculations we show that this evolution of θ and T(N) as well as the low temperature zigzag magnetic order can be captured within this extended HK model. We estimate that Na2IrO3 is deep in a magnetically ordered regime, while Li2IrO3 appears to be close to a spin-liquid regime.  相似文献

We report inelastic neutron scattering measurements on Na2IrO3, a candidate for the Kitaev spin model on the honeycomb lattice. We observe spin-wave excitations below 5 meV with a dispersion that can be accounted for by including substantial further-neighbor exchanges that stabilize zigzag magnetic order. The onset of long-range magnetic order below T(N)=15.3 K is confirmed via the observation of oscillations in zero-field muon-spin rotation experiments. Combining single-crystal diffraction and density functional calculations we propose a revised crystal structure model with significant departures from the ideal 90° Ir-O-Ir bonds required for dominant Kitaev exchange.  相似文献

The paper reports a highly sensitive enzyme free electrochemical immunoassay (EFEIA) for the detection of herbicide chlorsulfuron. The assay is based upon oxidative gold nanoparticle (GNP) dissolution in an acidic solution. The consequent release of large amounts of gold (Au) metal ions after dissolution of gold nanoparticles tagged to antibody leads to the development of sensitive stripping voltammetry based immunoassay. The detection is made possible by the reduction of Au3 + ions at the screen printed electrode surface followed by metal analysis by using the square wave voltammetry technique. The sensitivity of chlorsulfuron detection by competitive assay procedure was 6.7 pg mL− 1 for EFEIA in marked contrast to optical detection using Standard ELISA procedure that gives a sensitivity of 4.97 ng mL− 1.  相似文献

In this paper, gold nanoparticles coated with palladium dots (Pd@Au) bimetallic nanostructures have been reported to have a peroxidase like activity which is not found in their monometallic counterparts. Based on this finding, we have developed an immunoassay in which antibody-modified Pd@Au nanostructure catalyzes the dimerization of a fluorogenic substrate for peroxidase, 3-(4-dihydroxy phenyl) propionic acid (HPPA), to generate high fluorescence signal. Specific antibodies against bensulfuron-methyl were generated by using a well characterized bensulfuron–protein conjugate as an immunogen, and the assay was performed in a competitive immunoassay format where Pd@Au nanostructure was bound to secondary antibody to show the peroxidase like activity. The developed immunoassay exhibited an excellent sensitivity showing a dynamic response range from 0.001 to 100 ng mL−1 for herbicide bensulfuron-methyl with a detection limit of 0.01 ng mL−1 (n = 3). The newly synthesized bimetallic nanostructure shows the advantages of low cost, easy synthesis and tunable catalytic activity, making it a promising substitution of enzyme peroxidase in different applications.  相似文献

A facile, efficient, and mild protocol for the synthesis of aminobenzoxazoles has been developed using direct oxidative C-H bond amination of benzoxazoles with secondary or primary amines. The reaction was performed using catalytic amount of N-iodosuccinimide and aqueous hydrogen peroxide as a green oxidant and in the absence of transition metals. Reaction proceeds smoothly at ambient temperature and requires shorter reaction time to furnish excellent yield of the desired products. Various cyclic, acyclic, and functionalized aliphatic amines were well tolerated under optimized reaction conditions and provided good to excellent yield of the respective aminobenzoxazoles.  相似文献

A five dimensional cosmological model with FLRW type Kaluza-Klien metric has been investigated with static extra dimensions and varying cosmological constant. The field equations with static extra dimension are solved by considering the cosmological constant as a function of time for different cases. The effective pressure is considered as the difference of pressure corresponding to the extra dimension and the usual four dimensions. An efficient and environmentally sustainable domino protocol has been presented for the synthesis of structurally diverse spiroannulated indolo[3,2-c]quinolines involving three component sequential reaction of phenylhydrazine, o-aminoacetophenone and cyclic ketones using nanostructured terbium doped TiO2 as recyclable and reusable heterogeneous catalyst. The nanostructured catalyst was synthesized successfully and characterized by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), EDX and Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR). The substitution of Ti+4 with Tb+3 and the formation of Ti-O-Tb bonds as a result of doping of Terbium with TiO2 NPs increases the catalytic efficiency and facilitates the reaction to provide the products in excellent yields. The present protocol with special features; operational simplicity, atom-economy, mild reaction conditions, environmental sustainability and high synthetic efficiency with recyclability and reusability of catalyst has been reported for the first time to synthesize spiroannulated indoloquinolines and expecting to provide the library of promising new leads in drug discovery research.  相似文献
