Three chiral polymers P‐1 , P‐2 , and P‐3 could be obtained by the polymerization of (R)‐6,6′‐dibutyl‐3,3′‐diiodo‐2, 2′‐binaphthol (R‐M‐1) , (R)‐6,6′‐dibutyl‐3,3′‐diiodo‐2,2′‐bisoctoxy‐1,1′‐binaphthyl ( R‐M‐2 ), and (R)‐6,6′‐dibutyl‐3,3′‐diiodo‐2,2′‐bis (diethylaminoethoxy)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl ( R‐M‐3 ) with 4,7‐diethynyl‐benzo[2,1,3]‐thiadiazole ( M‐1) via Pd‐catalyzed Sonogashira reaction, respectively. P‐1 , P‐2 , and P‐3 can show pale red, blue–green, and orange fluorescence. The responsive optical properties of these polymers on various metal ions were investigated by fluorescence spectra. Compared with other cations, such as Co2+, Ni2+, Ag+, Cd2+, Cu2+, and Zn2+, Hg2+ can exhibit the most pronounced fluorescence response of these polymers. P‐1 and P‐2 show obvious fluorescence quenching effect upon addition of Hg2+, on the contrary, P‐3 shows fluorescence enhancement. Three polymer‐based fluorescent sensors also show excellent fluorescence response for Hg2+ detection without interference from other metal ions. The results indicate that these kinds of tunable chiral polybinaphthyls can be used as fluorescence sensors for Hg2+ detection. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We have developed a highly selective one-pot method for the synthesis of (E)-vinyl sulfones and sulfoxides from thiols with terminal alkynes. The sulfones and sulfoxides could be obtained with excellent selectivity in good isolated yields. It is simple, efficient and environmentally benign, and metal-free. The mechanism for the formation of the (E)-vinyl sulfones was also proposed.  相似文献

This Letter describes the synthesis of a novel fluorescein-based derivative used as the fluorescence sensor for Pd2+ detection. The sensor can show highly selective and sensitive ‘off-on’ fluorescence response only in the presence of Cu2+ as a synergic trigger, which presents a new strategy for Pd2+ detection method.  相似文献

Pretreatment of biomass before subjecting it to enzyme saccharification is crucial with regards to facilitating access of enzyme to biomass. Extrusion, as a continuous and cost-effective pretreatment method, combines heating with high shear and mixing opening cell walls at the microscopic scale, thus largely increasing the specific surface area (SSA) of biomass for enzyme adsorption. The objective of this study was to examine the effect of extrusion as a pretreatment method and the underlying factors ruling the improvement of sugar yields. The optimum glucose, xylose, and combined sugar recoveries were 48.79%, 24.98%, and 40.07%, respectively, at 27.5% moisture content and 80 rpm screw speed. These yields were 2.2, 6.6, and 2.6 times higher than those for untreated corn stover. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the crystallinity index was not a good indicator of sugar yield. However, scanning electron microscopy showed that the cellulose network was exposed due to the destruction of the lignin sheath. The Langmuir adsorption model was shown to be an effective tool for the estimation of the SSA of corn stover. The SSA of pretreated samples was significantly amplified over the control, revealing that extrusion can open the cell wall at the microscopic scale, which was especially favorable on sugar yields.  相似文献

Environmentally-friendly SPI/cellulose whisker composites were successfully prepared using a colloidal suspension of cellulose whiskers, to reinforce soy protein isolate (SPI) plastics. The cellulose whiskers, having an average length of 1.2 microm and diameter of 90 nm, respectively, were prepared from cotton linter pulp by hydrolyzing with sulfuric acid aqueous solution. The effects of the whisker content on the morphology and properties of the glycerol-plasticized SPI composites were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, dynamic mechanical thermal analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, water-resistivity testing and tensile testing. The results indicated that, with the addition of 0 to 30 wt.-% of cellulose whiskers, strong interactions occurred both between the whiskers and between the filler and the SPI matrix, reinforcing the composites and preserving their biodegradability. Both the tensile strength and Young's modulus of the SPI/cellulose whisker composites increased from 5.8 to 8.1 MPa and from 44.7 to 133.2 MPa, respectively, at a relative humidity of 43%, following an increase of the whisker content from 0 to 30 wt.-%. Furthermore, the incorporation of the cellulose whiskers into the SPI matrix led to an improvement in the water resistance for the SPI-based composites.  相似文献

On the basis of the requirements for both biobased economy and energy storage materials, we are interested in using cellulose-based microporous film as a template for in situ synthesis of polyaniline (PANI). Multifunctional carbon nanotube (CNT)/cellulose composite films were also prepared from a CNT/cellulose suspension in a NaOH/urea aqueous system. Subsequently, PANI was synthesized in situ in the pores of cellulose and CNT/cellulose substrates to construct PANI/cellulose (PC) films and PANI/CNT/cellulose (PCC) films, respectively. Both PC and PCC films were flexible and exhibited a highly specific capacitance and good cycle stability. With the addition of CNTs, the specific capacitance of the PCC films as supercapacitor materials was significantly improved. Moreover, a homogeneous structure intertwined with the cellulose, CNTs and PANI appeared in the composite films, indicating good miscibility. This work has provided a new approach to the fabrication of flexible, lightweight, highly effective, and low-cost energy storage materials, broadening the applications of cellulose.  相似文献

A novel fluorescence chemosensor 1 based on (R)‐binaphthyl‐salen can exhibit highly sensitive and selective recognition responses toward Cu2+ by "turn‐off" fluorescence quench type in THF/H2O, and Zn2+ by "turn‐on" fluorescence enhancement type in CHCl3/CH3CN, respectively, suggesting that solvents can dramatically affect the responsive properties of salen‐based chemosensor. In addition, Cu2+ can lead to the most pronounced changes of CD spectra without the influence of solvents, which indicates this kind chemosensor can also be used as a sole Cu2+ probe based on CD spectra.  相似文献
