The effects of the application of various DC magnitudes and polarities to an end-cap of a 3-D quadrupole ion trap throughout a mass spectrometry experiment were investigated. Application of a monopolar DC field was achieved by applying a DC potential to the exit end-cap electrode, while maintaining the entrance end-cap electrode at ground potential. Control over the monopolar DC magnitude and polarity during time periods associated with ion accumulation, mass analysis, ion isolation, ion/ion reaction, and ion activation can have various desirable effects. Included amongst these are increased ion capture efficiency, increased ion ejection efficiency during mass analysis, effective isolation of ions using lower AC resonance ejection amplitudes, improved temporal control of the overlap of oppositely charged ion populations, and the performance of "broad-band" collision induced dissociation (CID). These results suggest general means to improve the performance of the 3-D ion trap in a variety of mass spectrometry and tandem mass spectrometry experiments. 相似文献

A series of upconversion luminescent erbium-doped SrTiO(3) (ABO(3)-type) photocatalysts with different initial molar ratios of Sr/Ti have been prepared by a facile polymerized complex method. Er(3+) ions, which were gradually transferred from the A to the B site with increasing Sr/Ti, enabled the absorption of visible light and the generation of high-energy excited states populated by upconversion processes. The local internal fields arising from the dipole moments of the distorted BO(6) octahedra promoted energy transfer from the high-energy excited states of Er(3+) with B-site occupancy to the host SrTiO(3) and thus enhanced the band-to-band transition of the host SrTiO(3). Consequently, the erbium-doped SrTiO(3) species with B-site occupancy showed higher photocatalytic activity than those with A-site occupancy for visible-light-driven H(2) or O(2) evolution in the presence of the corresponding sacrificial reagents. The results generally suggest that the introduction of upconversion luminescent agents into host semiconductors is a promising approach to simultaneously harnessing low-energy photons and maintaining redox ability for photocatalytic H(2) and O(2) evolution and that the site occupancy of doped elements in ABO(3)-type perovskite oxides greatly determines the photocatalytic activity. 相似文献

The reaction of tBu(C(6)H(4)O(2))P, with the borane B(C(6)F(5))(3) gives rise to NMR data consistent with the formation of the classical Lewis acid-base adduct tBu(C(6)H(4)O(2))P(B(C(6)F(5))(3)) (1). In contrast, the NMR data for the corresponding reactions of tBu(C(20)H(12)O(2))P and Cl(C(20)H(12)O(2))P with B(C(6)F(5))(3) were consistent with the presence of equilibria between free phosphine and borane and the corresponding adducts. Nonetheless, in each case, the adducts tBu(C(20)H(12)O(2))P(B(C(6)F(5))(3)) (2) and Cl(C(20)H(12)O(2))P(B(C(6)F(5))(3)) (3) were isolable. The species 1 reacts with PhCCH to give the new species tBu(C(6)H(4)O(2))P(Ph)C=CHB(C(6)F(5))(3) (4) in near quantitative yield. In an analogous fashion, the addition of PhCCH to solutions of the phosphines tBu(C(20)H(12)O(2))P, tBuPCl(2) and (C(6)H(3)(2,4-tBu(2))O)(3)P each with an equivalent of B(C(6)F(5))(3) gave rise to L(Ph)C=CHB(C(6)F(5))(3) (L = tBu(C(20)H(12)O(2))P 5, tBuPCl(2)6 and (C(6)H(3)(2,4-tBu(2))O)(3)P 7). Streptocarbazoles A (1) and B (2), two novel indolocarbazoles featuring unprecedented cyclic N-glycosidic linkages between 1,3-carbon atoms of the glycosyl moiety and two indole nitrogen atoms of the indolocarbazole core, were isolated from the marine-derived actinomycetes strain Streptomyces sp. FMA. Their structures were established by spectroscopic methods, CD spectra, and ECD quantum mechanical calculations. In this paper, a simple and sensitive small-molecule fluorescent probe, 2,5-dihydroxy-4'-dimethylaminochalcone (DHDMAC), was designed and synthesized for the detection of human serum proteins via hydrophobic interactions after polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). This probe produced lower fluorescence emission in the absence of proteins, and the emission intensity was significantly increased after the interaction with serum proteins. To demonstrate the imaging performance of this probe as a fluorescent dye, a series of experiments was conducted that included sensitivity comparison and 2D-PAGE. The results indicated that the sensitivity of DHDMAC staining is comparable to that of the most widely used fluorescent dye, SYPRO Ruby, and more protein spots (including thyroxine-binding globulin, angiotensinogen, afamin, zinc-α-2-glycoprotein and α-1-antichymotrypsin) were detected after 2D-PAGE. In this work, various Co3O4-ZSM-5 catalysts were prepared by the microwave hydrothermal method (MH-Co3O4@ZSM-5), dynamic hydrothermal method (DH-Co3O4@ZSM-5), and conventional hydrothermal method (CH-Co3O4/ZSM-5). Their catalytic oxidation of dichloromethane (DCM) was analyzed. Detailed characterizations such as X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), H2 temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR), temperature-programmed desorption of O2 (O2-TPD), temperature-programmed desorption of NH3 (NH3-TPD), diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier-transform spectra with NH3 molecules (NH3-DRIFT), and temperature-programmed surface reaction (TPSR) were performed. Results showed that with the assistance of microwave, MH-Co3O4@ZSM-5 formed a uniform core-shell structure, while the other two samples did not. MH-Co3O4@ZSM-5 possessed rich surface adsorbed oxygen species, higher ratio of Co3+/Co2+, strong acidity, high reducibility, and oxygen mobility among the three Co3O4-ZSM-5 catalysts, which was beneficial for the improvement of DCM oxidation. In the oxidation of dichloromethane, MH-Co3O4@ZSM-5 presented the best activity and mineralization, which was consistent with the characterizations results. Meanwhile, according to the TPSR test, HCl or Cl2 removal from the catalyst surface was also promoted in MH-Co3O4@ZSM-5 by their abundant Brønsted acid sites and the promotion of Deacon reaction by Co3O4 or the synergistic effect of Co3O4 and ZSM-5. According to the results of in situ DRIFT studies, a possible reaction pathway of DCM oxidation was proposed over the MH-Co3O4@ZSM-5 catalysts. 相似文献
