Sea surfaces should be considered as randomly rough surfaces at the infrared(IR) and optical bands. The geometric model of sea surfaces has been obtained by using image processing. Based on the electromagnetic scattering theory, the Laser Radar Cross Section(LRCS) for the sea surfaces is analyzed at IR band and the scattering properties of the sea surfaces have been gotten.  相似文献

A novel optical imaging technique called sonoluminescent tomography was developed for cross-sectional imaging of strongly scattering media noninvasively. Sonoluminescence, which was generated internally in the medium by cw ultrasound, was used to produce a two-dimensional image of an object embedded in a scattering medium by means of raster scanning the medium. The image had a high contrast and good spatial resolution. The spatial resolution was limited by the focal-spot size of the ultrasound, and one could improve the resolution by tightening the focus. This inexpensive imaging technique has potential applications in medicine and other fields related to scattering media.  相似文献

Summary. A Laguerre-Galerkin method is proposed and analyzed for the Burgers equation and Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (BBM) equation on a semi-infinite interval. By reformulating these equations with suitable functional transforms, it is shown that the Laguerre-Galerkin approximations are convergent on a semi-infinite interval with spectral accuracy. An efficient and accurate algorithm based on the Laguerre-Galerkin approximations to the transformed equations is developed and implemented. Numerical results indicating the high accuracy and effectiveness of this algorithm are presented. The atomic density, the buffer gas pressure, and the voltage dependence of the 510.6 nm laser line shape and its temporal evolution emitted from a Cu/CuBr vapor laser are measured. It is found that the monochromaticity of these laser lines can be improved greatly at a relative high buffer gas pressure. The temporal evolution of the line shape offers a stereoscopic view of a laser pulse. The sequence of appearance of the peaks of the line shape is governed by the intensity of the hyperfine component of the copper line.  相似文献

Gain and Noise figure (NF) characteristics in dual-pump parametric amplifier based on silicon on insulator (SOI) Rib waveguides are numerically investigated in the presence of nonlinear losses. The impact of structure parameters of the silicon optical parametric amplifiers (SOPAs) on the gain and the NF are also analyzed. The results show that both the height and the width of the silicon on insulator (SOI) can affect the gain and the NF of SOPAs. 354 nm bandwidth (3 dB) and 8.135 maximum gain can be achieved by tailoring the structure parameters of the SOI rib waveguides. Moreover, the dispersion and the effective mode area of SOI are also analyzed.  相似文献

In this paper, temperature evolution in shape-memory TiNi alloys was in situ measured in the process of phase transition under shock loading tests. It was shown that the temperature increased during loading, while unloading, it would keep the maximum value constant or decreased, depending on the strain rate. The corresponding dynamic response indicated that the hardening property is related to phase transition strain and the transformation path has remarkable strain-rate effect. The reason for this phenomenon is essentially due to the temperature dependence of the phase transformation stress. Moreover, the evolution of temperature was consistent with the change of stress, suggesting that this dynamic phase transition deformation is uniform. The theoretical calculation shows that the mechanism of temperature evolution results from the release of latent heat and the hysteresis dissipated energy. The results of this investigation provide insight into intriguing strain-rate-dependent phenomena intrinsic of TiNi alloys.  相似文献

The ground state properties of Cd, Sn and Te isotopes are investigated in the framework of the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock theory using the normal force parameters SKI2 plus density-dependent pairing correlations and new force parameters SKI4 which has a generalized spin-orbit term [P. G. Reinhard and H. Flocard, Nucl. Phys. A 584 (1995) 467]. The theoretical results agree well with experimental data of binding energies and matter root-mean-square radii of charge distributions. Both parameter sets are also successful in reproducing the experimental law of isotope shifts in Cd and Sn elements. The behavior of isotope shifts in Te elements is predicted. We have made detailed comparison and discussion on the numerical results and given an explanation for the cause of above success.  相似文献

The electronic structure of Sr2RuO4 is investigated by high angular resolution ARPES at several incident photon energies. We address the controversial issues of the Fermi surface (FS) topology and the van Hove singularity at the M point, showing that a surface state and the replica of the primary FS due to sqrt[2]xsqrt[2] surface reconstruction are responsible for previous conflicting interpretations. The FS thus determined by ARPES is consistent with the de Haas-van Alphen results, and it provides additional information on the detailed shape of the alpha, beta, and gamma sheets.  相似文献

A cross-linked azopolymer with high optical and thermal stability was prepared. A pure polarization grating without surface topology was fabricated from cross-linked azopolymer by polarization holography by use of orthogonal linearly polarized beams from a He-Cd laser with a power density of 60 mW/cm(-2). The surface relief structure was investigated by atomic-force microscopy, and the polarization grating was observed by polarization optical microscopy. The grating spacing is 1.5 microm. The grating is stable at room temperature and can endure repeated writing-erasing.  相似文献
