AbstractA rapid PCR technology was developed to differentiate Cervus antlers species and adulteration based on the difference in mitochondrial genome. Three specifically designed primer sets were confirmed to have high inter-species specificity and good intra-species stability. Limits of detection were estimated to be 1?ng of genomes for reindeer and 10?ng for the other species. Especially, when the mixture of Cervus antlers and reindeer or sambar was assayed, these primer sets still exhibited strong capability of differentiation but not the conventional COI barcoding. By using the newly developed approach, five batches out of fourteen commercial Cervus antler products were identified to be fake products made from reindeer antlers. It has shown its good potential to be extensively applied in the identification of counterfeits or adulterates of Cornu Chinese medicines for their pulverized and processed form, and even the traditional Chinese patent medicines composed of these species. 相似文献

Although isocyanides are not rare amongst terrestrial microbes and marine organisms, despite tens of thousands of natural products isolated from plants, isocyanides are still missing. Isocyalexin A is the first isocyanide of plant origin. Isocyalexin A was isolated from UV-irradiated rutabaga roots and shown to be a new cruciferous phytoalexin. Bacterial infections are regarded as one of the leading causes of fatal morbidity and death in patients infected with diseases. The ability of microorganisms, particularly methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), to develop resistance to current drugs has evoked the need for a continuous search for new drugs with better efficacies. Hence, a series of non-PAINS associated pyrrolylated-chalcones (1–15) were synthesized and evaluated for their potency against MRSA. The hydroxyl-containing compounds (8, 9, and 10) showed the most significant anti-MRSA efficiency, with the MIC and MBC values ranging from 0.08 to 0.70 mg/mL and 0.16 to 1.88 mg/mL, respectively. The time-kill curve and SEM analyses exhibited bacterial cell death within four hours after exposure to 9, suggesting its bactericidal properties. Furthermore, the docking simulation between 9 and penicillin-binding protein 2a (PBP2a, PDB ID: 6Q9N) suggests a relatively similar bonding interaction to the standard drug with a binding affinity score of −7.0 kcal/mol. Moreover, the zebrafish model showed no toxic effects in the normal embryonic development, blood vessel formation, and apoptosis when exposed to up to 40 µM of compound 9. The overall results suggest that the pyrrolylated-chalcones may be considered as a potential inhibitor in the design of new anti-MRSA agents. 相似文献

Uric acid (UA) is an important biomarker in urine and serum samples for early diagnosis. This study re‐ ports a fluorescent biosensor based on Poly(cytosine)‐templated silver nanoclusters (C‐Ag NCs) and uricase for the highly sensitive and fast detection of UA. The strong fluorescence of the C‐Ag NCs prepared from poly (cytosine) nucleotides templates could be sensitively quenched by trace amount of H2O2, which produced from oxidation reaction of UA catalyzed by uricase. This biosensor exhibits two linear ranges as 50 nM~50 μM and 50 μM~400 μM, with a detection limit of 50 nM. The sensitivity of the biosensor is considerably improved compared with the methods reported in the literature. Furthermore, the detection ability of uric acid in serum samples is confirmed and this C‐Ag NCs‐based uric acid biosensor shows good promise of practical application. 相似文献

重力场流分离作为最简单的一种场流分离技术,常用于分离微米级颗粒。选择两种不同粒径(20 μ m和6 μ m)的聚苯乙烯(PS)颗粒作为样品,通过改变载液中叠氮化钠浓度、混合表面活性剂的比例及载液流速,利用自行设计生产的重力场流分离(gravitational flow field-flow fractionation, GrFFF)仪器,对颗粒混合样品进行分离,得到了相关谱图与数据,考察了这3种因素对分离效果(保留比(R)、塔板高度(H))的影响。结果表明:20 μ m PS颗粒的R值均大于6 μ m PS颗粒的R值,H值均小于6 μ m颗粒的H值;PS颗粒的R值与H值均随着载液中叠氮化钠浓度的增加而增加;但随着载液流速的增加,R值增加,H值减小。该研究为GrFFF系统的开发及应用提供了重要的参考价值。 相似文献

In the present work, bismuth vanadate composited photocatalysts were synthesized and characterized. X‐ray diffractometry and Raman results showed that the particles were well crystallized, and formed by the complex of monoclinic BiVO4 and TiO2. On electron microscopy, the photocatalyst exhibited high crystallization, agglutination and irregular shape, and was surrounded by numerous TiO2 particles. The study of surface areas showed that the specific surface area of 30‐BiVO4/TiO2 composited was 112 m2·g?1, which was nearly 10 times that of pure BiVO4. The ultraviolet–visible diffuse reflectance spectra indicated the composited photocatalyst were activated in visible light. The activity of photocatalytic water splitting was studied. The results showed that monomer BiVO4 photocatalyst was not able to produce hydrogen under any light source. BiVO4/TiO2 composited photocatalysts, however, were capable of generating hydrogen. Under UV light irradiation for 120 min, 1 g catalyst dispersed in 50 mL deionized water produced almost 1 mL hydrogen, such that the productivity of hydrogen was higher than that of P25‐TiO2. Photocatalytic decomposition of water under visible light also confirmed that the BiVO4/TiO2 composited photocatalyst had the ability of water splitting. 相似文献
