We have obtained UV power of 20.5 W with a repetition rate of 10 kHz by the use of a high-brightness high-power all-solid-state green laser and a high-quality CsLiB(6)O(10) crystal. This power is, to our knowledge, the highest UV power achieved so far in all-solid-state lasers.  相似文献

We measured the out-of-plane elastic constants C(33) of a Co/Pt superlattice by picosecond ultrasound, and found that they were closely related to the thickness ratio of Co and Pt layers; C(33) was smaller than the prediction from the bulk values except for a specific thickness ratio. This behavior can be explained by the weak bonding at the interfaces that occurs to reduce the elastic strain energy, not by the interfacial strain. This view explained the relationship among C(33), the elastic strain energy, and perpendicular magnetic anisotropy.  相似文献

Numerical simulations of sonochemical production of nanoparticles have been performed for the first time under the experimental condition of Dang et al. [Jpn. J. Appl. Phys. 48 (2009) 09KC02] on the production of BaTiO(3). The results of the numerical simulations have suggested that only primary particles aggregate with other particles. It is also shown that larger aggregates are produced for lower initial concentration of BaCl(2) and TiCl(4). This is caused by longer reaction time as the reaction rate is lower for lower concentration and by lower viscosity which results in higher rate of aggregation.  相似文献

A series of carotenoid pyropheophorbide A esters, fucoxanthin pyropheophorbide A ester (1), halocynthiaxanthin 3′-acetate pyropheophorbide A ester (2), lutein pyropheophorbide A esters (3) and (4), and mutatoxanthin pyropheophorbide A ester (5), were isolated from the viscera of the abalone Haliotis diversicolor aquatilis. We demonstrated fast terahertz spectral computed tomography by using real-time line projection of a terahertz beam. Two types of cross-sectional images of continuously rotating samples have been measured in only a few seconds. From temporal data, a peak-to-peak sinogram and cross sections have been reconstructed using a filtered backprojection algorithm. Using fast Fourier transform from temporal data, spectral cross sections of the sample have been obtained.  相似文献

The composite consisting of silver nanoparticles deposited on boehmite hybrid was synthesized by NaBH4 reduction technique. The morphology of the composite was studied by TEM, UV/Vis spectrophotometer and particle sizer. The size of the silver nanoparticles deposited on the surface of the boehmite ranged from 10 nm to 100 nm. The contact of silver nanoparticles increased by means of deposition of silver nanoparticles on the boehmite sol and the aggregation of the composites. This leads to the appearance of a shoulder at 450 nm in the UV-Vis absorption spectra with the addition of 0.15 mg and 1.5 mg boehmite. It was found that the intensity of the SERS in the case of the composite was higher than for silver colloids consisting of a concentration of silver greater than 3.2 mM.  相似文献

The enhancement of sonochemical-reaction efficiency by pulsed ultrasound at 152 kHz has been studied experimentally through absorbance measurements of triiodide ions from sonochemical oxidation of potassium iodide at different liquid volumes to determine sonochemical efficiency defined by reacted molecules per input ultrasonic energy. The mechanism for enhancement of the reaction efficiency by pulsed ultrasound is discussed using captured images of sonochemiluminescence (SCL), and measured time-resolved signals of the SCL pulses and pressure amplitudes. The high sonochemical-reaction efficiency by pulsed ultrasound, compared with that by continuous-wave ultrasound, is attributed both to the residual pressure amplitude during the pulse-off time and to the spatial enlargement of active reaction sites.  相似文献

Zn(II) complexes are expected to be useful in the treatment of diabetes mellitus because of the hypoglycemic effect produced by its insulin-mimetic activity. Previous reports indicated that Zn(II) complexes with coordinating sulfur exhibit higher insulin-mimetic activity. In this study, we investigated the pharmacological and pharmacokinetic differences between Zn(O(4)) and Zn(S(2)O(2)) coordination modes of tropolonato-Zn(II) complexes with insulin-mimetic activity. Among the tropolonato-Zn(II) complexes with various coordination modes, di(2-mercaptotropolonato)zinc(II) (ZT2) with the Zn(S(2)O(2)) coordination mode was found to exhibit the highest in vitro insulin-mimetic activity with respect to inhibition of free fatty acid (FFA) release and enhancement of glucose uptake in isolated rat adipocytes treated with adrenaline. On comparing investigations of the antidiabetic effect in vivo, ZT2 was found to exhibit potent hypoglycemic activity and improve insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic KKA(y) mice at a low orally administered daily dose. Di(tropolonato)zinc(II) (ZT1), which has the Zn(O(4)) coordination mode, had a lesser effect at the same dose. In a pharmacokinetic analysis based on the (65)Zn tracer method, ZT2 was found to be absorbed at a significantly slower rate with a longer half-life than was ZT1. These results suggest that the potent hypoglycemic activity of ZT2 might be attributed to its long half-life.  相似文献
