We calculate the optical properties such as the polarization, the (hyper)polarizabilities, the critical vector potential, etc., in terms of the non‐Hermitian Anderson model of a 6‐site ring model. The dependence of the optical properties on the delocalization transition is investigated. Sound transmission between adjoining rooms is often influenced by a flanking sound passing through open windows placed in the exterior wall of the two rooms. It is important to predict such flanking sound propagation when considering the sound insulation between the adjoining rooms. In this paper, a chart for estimating the distance attenuation of the flanking sound, which is obtained from analysis using the boundary integral equation method, is first provided. Next, 1:10 scale model experiments are carried out. The experimental results are in good agreement with the chart, the effectiveness of the chart thus being verified.  相似文献

We have investigated the origin of the change in proton activity in the phase transition at TII-III (=369 K) in Cs3H(SeO4)2 from the viewpoint of its ferroelasticity by using 1H NMR and X-ray measurements. It is found that the second moment of the 1H NMR absorption line rapidly decreases at TII-III with increasing temperature. From this result, we conclude that the hopping motion of a proton, which is the precursor motion in the superprotonic phase, becomes more active above TII-III. This result is consistent with the fact that the electrical conductivity in phase II is larger than that in phase III. Furthermore, it is also found that the spontaneous strain decreases abruptly at TII-III. From these results, it is deduced that the decrease in the spontaneous strain at TII-III causes the increase in the proton activity at TII-III. In addition, it is deduced that the increase in proton activity and the decrease in the spontaneous strain at TII-III are closely related with the appearance of the superprotonic phase transition at TI-II (=456 K).  相似文献

Polymeric formamides were prepared by free radical polymerization of N-methyl-N-vinyl-formamide or N-methyl-N-(4-vinylbenzyl)formamide, and copolymerization of these monomers with styrene. These soluble polymers serve as phase transfer catalysts for several reactions under liquid–liquid biphase conditions. The catalytic activity of copolymers containing styrene unit is affected remarkably by composition, and there are maxima at certain composition in both polymers. However, copolymers with an acrylonitrile co-unit scarcely exhibit catalytic activity. Furthermore, it was found that these polymers can extract all alkali metal ions employed here, and that the extraction ability increases with increasing the density of active sites. From these results, it is demonstrated that catalytic activity strongly depends on both cation extraction ability of polymers and lipophilicity around the active sites in the polymer.  相似文献

Abstract

Various types of bicomponent fibers composed of polylactide (PLA) and poly(butylene terephthalate) (PBT) with different molecular weights, arranging the polymers separately in the skin or core, were produced by high-speed melt-spinning. The bicomponent spinning, arranging the PLA with high molecular weight (melt flow rate =1.9?g/10?min, L-lactide content = 98.7%) in the skin and the PBT with low molecular weight (IV = 0.835–0.865 dL/g) in the core, resulted in orientation-induced crystallization in the PLA component at the spinning speed of 2?km/min. This crystallization effect was ascribed to a chain-extending treatment applied to the original PLA (MFR = 4.0?g/10?min) to increase its molecular weight. By the treatment the PLA could crystallize when spun even at 1?km/min in its single-component spinning. On the other hand, the bicomponent spinning system interfered with the orientation-induced crystallization of PBT in the core. As a result, the critical spinning speed needed to generate the orientation-induced crystallization in the core PBT was elevated to 4?km/min. The inferior tensile behavior of the bicomponent fibers, as compared to the single-component PLA or PBT fibers, suggested poor compatibility between PLA and PBT. Transesterification reactions rarely occurred at the interface of the two polymers. The bicomponent fibers prepared from high molecular weight PLA and low molecular weight PBT, however, showed sufficient antibacterial activity and physical properties to be suitable for designing medical clothing materials.  相似文献

Poly(arylene thioether)s ( PTEs ) containing 9,9′‐spirobifluorene moieties were synthesized in high yields from 9,9′‐spirobifluorene‐2,2′‐bis(N,N‐dimethylcarbamothioate) 4 as the masked dithiol and various difluoroarenes as electrophilic monomers. All PTEs showed high thermal stability: The 10% weight loss temperature as evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis was over 470 °C under both nitrogen and air atmospheres. The glass transition temperature estimated by DSC was in the range 210–270 °C. The PTEs showed high solubility in ordinary organic solvents, such as CHCl3, NMP, and THF. Most PTEs exhibited remarkably high refractive indices ranging from 1.69 to 1.73 at 587.6 nm, whereas no or little birefringence was observed for the PTEs . © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We exploited the wavelength tunability of the laser diode of a phase-shifting Sagnac interferometer to realize disturbance-free measurements. The Sagnac interferometer is robust against mechanical disturbances because it has a common path configuration and requires no special references. An unbalanced optical path was introduced between p- and s-polarized beams to enable easy phase shifting by direct current modulation. The experimental results indicate that the proposed system is effective for performing precise disturbance-free measurements.  相似文献

To discover an orally active thromboxane A(2) (TXA(2)) and leukotriene D(4) (LTD(4)) dual antagonist, we designed and synthesized chloroquinolylvinyl derivatives based on the structures of the TXA(2) antagonist daltroban and the LTD(4) antagonist montelukast. Among these derivatives, 4-{[(2-(4-chlorophenylsulfonylamino)-1-{3-[(E)-2-(7-chloro-2-quinolyl)vinyl]phenyl}ethyl)thio]methyl}benzoic acid (18d) showed potent inhibitory activity against U46619-induced aggregation of guinea pig platelets and LTD(4)-induced contraction in the guinea pig ileum, with IC(50) values of 340 nm and 0.40 nm, respectively. Oral administration of 18 d also inhibited both the LTD(4)-induced acceleration of plasma leakage to skin in guinea pig and the U46619-induced increase in airway resistance in guinea pig with ED(50) values of 0.47 mg/kg and 3.3 mg/kg, respectively.  相似文献
