Synthesis of fluorine-containing esters of 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid

Fluorinated esters of 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid have been synthesized starting from 2,5-furan dicarboxylic acid dichloride and fluorine-containing diols. The reaction control was performed by means of ¹H, ¹⁹F NMR, and IR-spectroscopy. Thermal stability, as well as glass transition temperature, and intrinsic viscosity parameters of the obtained oligomers have been determined.     

Synthesis of secondary silicon-containing acetylenic alcohols of the thiophene series

New silicon-containing acetylenic alcohols of the thiophene series have been obtained by the reaction of trialkylsilylacetylenylmagnesium bromides with 2-thiophenealdehydes. Their addition to butyl vinyl ether has given the corresponding acetals.     

Samarium Dithiocarbamates as Precursors for Deposition of SmS Films

Samarium dithiocarbamate complexes dtc₃Sm and their adducts dtc3SmL were prepared, studied, and used as precursors for deposition of SmS films. The influence of the composition and structure of the complexes on the properties of the SmS films was examined.     

1-Methyl-1-ethynylsilacyclopentane

Conclusions We synthesized 1-methyl-1-ethynylsilacyclopentane, which is the first reported 1-ethynylsilacycloalkane. New polyunsaturated organosilicon dendrimers

Spherical dendrimer of regular structure with the spatial characteristic S = 5, tetrakis[tris-(trimethylsilylethynyl)silyl-2-vinyldimethylsilylethynyl]silane, and the unsymmetrical binuclear dendrimer containing simultaneously groups (−CH₂CH₂−), (−CH=CH−), (−C≡C−) and combining the branches of the zero order (G0) and of the second generation (G2), 2-tris(trimethyl-silylethynyl)silyl-1-tris[tris(trimethylsilylethynyl)silylvinyldimethylsilylethynyl]silylethane were isolated from the reaction of hydrosilylation of tetrakis (dimethylethynylsilylethynyl)silane and vinyltris(dimethylethynylsilylethynyl)silane with trichlorosilane and a subsequent treatment of the reaction products with trimethylsilylethynylmagnesium bromide. NMR spectra of the synthesized compounds were studied.     

Bis(organyldimethoxysilyl)acetylenes

Conclusions Bis(trimethoxysilyl)-, bis(methyldimethoxysilyl)-, and bis(vinyldimethoxysilyl)acetylenes were obtained by the reaction of bis(bromomagnesium)acetylene with Si(OMe)₄ and RSi(OMe)₃.
