Synthesis and characterization of white‐light‐emitting polyfluorenes containing orange phosphorescent moieties in the side chain

Two orange phosphorescent iridium complex monomers, 9‐hexyl‐9‐(iridium (III)bis(2‐(4′‐fluorophenyl)‐4‐phenylquinoline‐N,C^2′)(tetradecanedionate‐11,13))‐2,7‐dibromofluorene (Br‐PIr) and 9‐hexyl‐9‐(iridium(III)bis(2‐(4′‐fluorophenyl)‐4‐methylquinoline‐N,C^2′)(tetradecanedionate‐11,13))‐2,7‐dibromofluorene (Br‐MIr), were successfully synthesized. The Suzuki polycondensation of 2,7‐bis(trimethylene boronate)‐9,9‐dioctylfluorene with 2,7‐dibromo‐9,9‐dioctylfluorene and Br‐PIr or Br‐MIr afforded two series of copolymers, PIrPFs and MIrPFs, in good yields, in which the concentrations of the phosphorescent moieties were kept small (0.5–3 mol % feed ratio) to realize incomplete energy transfer. The photoluminescence (PL) of the copolymers showed blue‐ and orange‐emission peaks. A white‐light‐emitting diode with a configuration of indium tin oxide/poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)/PIr05PF (0.5 mol % feed ratio of Br‐PIr)/Ca/Al exhibited a luminous efficiency of 4.49 cd/A and a power efficiency of 2.35 lm/W at 6.0 V with Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.46, 0.33). The CIE coordinates were improved to (0.34, 0.33) when copolymer MIr10PF (1.0 mol % feed ratio of Br‐MIr) was employed as the white‐emissive layer. The strong orange emission in the electroluminescence spectra in comparison with PL for these kinds of polymers was attributed to the additional contribution of charge trapping in the phosphorescent dopants. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Asymptotic distributions of nonparametric regression estimators for longitudinal or functional data

The estimation of a regression function by kernel method for longitudinal or functional data is considered. In the context of longitudinal data analysis, a random function typically represents a subject that is often observed at a small number of time points, while in the studies of functional data the random realization is usually measured on a dense grid. However, essentially the same methods can be applied to both sampling plans, as well as in a number of settings lying between them. In this paper general results are derived for the asymptotic distributions of real-valued functions with arguments which are functionals formed by weighted averages of longitudinal or functional data. Asymptotic distributions for the estimators of the mean and covariance functions obtained from noisy observations with the presence of within-subject correlation are studied. These asymptotic normality results are comparable to those standard rates obtained from independent data, which is illustrated in a simulation study. Besides, this paper discusses the conditions associated with sampling plans, which are required for the validity of local properties of kernel-based estimators for longitudinal or functional data.     

自由电子激光振荡器的二维数值模拟

在柱二维坐标系中,用数值计算方法求解了摇摆器内电子模拟方程组、光场方程组和无源区(不含摇摆器区)经非自适应方法变换后的无源旁轴波动方程并设计了相应的程序R_2D。用该程序计算的数值结果表明,在有源条件下二维数值模拟结果与高斯光束近似下的数值模拟结果符合较好;取完全相同的计算条件R-2D程序与洛斯阿拉莫斯实验室(LANL)的FELEX程序的计算结果符合较好;初步认为LANL实验数据的物理图象合理,数值结果基本可信;最后给出北京自由电子激光器(BFEL)的一些物理数据。

产生特殊聚焦图形的二元光学元件

通过面积编码将伽博（Gabor)波带片的透过率函数的余弦分布等效为二元分布，研制了能产生各种特殊聚焦图形的二元光学元件。根据透镜聚焦的物理原理制作的二元振幅型波带片可以方便地产生多种聚焦线，给出了相应的实验结果，并讨论了改善聚焦效果的优化条件。     

Molecular dynamics simulation of entropy and surface tension for grain boundary of α-Fe

The grain boundary is an interface and the surface tension is one of its important thermodynamic properties. In this paper, the surface tension of the ∑9 grain boundary for α-Fe at various temperatures and pressures is calculated by means of Computer Molecular Dynamics (CMD). The results agree satisfactorily with the experimental data. It is shown that the contribution of entropy to surface tension of grain boundary can be ignored. The strategy of expert system for high performance liquid chromatography was discussed, the attentions are mainly placed on the knowledge base for selection of column system, separation modes and detection modes in the analysis of amino acids, peptides and proteins.     

All solid-state sum-frequency generation of 1.12-W continuous-wave laser at 588 nm

A new resonator design for doubly resonant continuous-wave (CW) intracavity sum-frequency mixing (SFM) is reported. 1.12 W of coherent radiation at 588 nm is generated by mixing 1062-nm Nd:GdVO4laser and 1319-nm Nd:YAG laser. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is up to 3.7%.     

反向驱动的异质结有机薄膜电致发光

成功制备了结构为ITO／PDDOPV／PPQ／Al的异质结聚合物发光二极管。该器件在正反向偏压下均可发光。在正向偏压下的光发射主要来自PDDOPV，但在反向偏压下的光发射则包括来自PPQ的蓝光发射和PDDOPV的黄光发射。蓝光强度与黄光强度的比值随着反向偏压的增加而增加，当反向直流电压分别为22V、24V、26V、28V时，其电致发光光谱中PPQ与PDDOPV的峰高比IPPQ／IPDDOPV分别为1．092、1．329、1．605、2．046。换句话说，该器件的发光颜色是压控可调的，这对实现彩色显示是极为有利的。分析了在反向偏压下的发光机理以及IPPQ／IPDDOPV受电压控制的原因。
