In this article, positively charged GVs were electroformed in a binary system of quaternary ammonium salts and egg phosphatidylcholine (EggPC) under an alternative current (AC) electric field. The diameter and charge density of the GVs is controlled by doping suitable cationic quaternary ammonium molecules into the EggPC bilayer. By developing positively charged GVs, there will be expanded the applications for phospholipids vesicles, especially the investigation of charge-induced interactions between cationic lipid membranes and macromolecules, such as colloidal particles or proteins.  相似文献

There is an ongoing effort to replace rare and expensive noble-element catalysts with more abundant and less expensive transition metal oxides. With this goal in mind, the intrinsic defects of a rhombohedral perovskite-like structure of LaMnO3 and their implications on CO catalytic properties were studied. Surface thermodynamic stability as a function of pressure (P) and temperature (T) were calculated to find the most stable surface under reaction conditions (P=0.2 atm, T=323 K to 673 K). Crystallographic planes (100), (111), (110), and (211) were evaluated and it was found that (110) with MnO2 termination was the most stable under reaction conditions. Adsorption energies of O2 and CO on (110) as well as the effect of intrinsic defects such as Mn and O vacancies were also calculated. It was found that O vacancies favor the interaction of CO on the surface, whereas Mn vacancies can favor the formation of carbonate species.  相似文献

H2-SCR is served as the promising technology for the controlling of NOx emission, and the Pd-based derivative catalyst exhibited high NOx reduction performance. Effectively regulating the electronic configuration of the active component is favorable to the rational optimization of noble Pd. In this work, a series of Pr1-xCexMn1-yPdyO3@Ni were successfully synthesized and exhibited superior NO conversion efficiency at low temperatures. 92.7 % conversion efficiency was achieved at 200 °C over Pr0.9Ce0.1Mn0.9Pd0.1O3@Ni in the presence of 4 % O2 with a GHSV of 32000 h−1. Meanwhile, the outstanding performance was obtained in the resistance to SO2 (200 ppm) and H2O (8 %). Deduced from the results of XRD, Raman, XPS, and H2-TPR, the modification of d orbit states in palladium was confirmed originating from the incorporation in the B site of Pr0.9Ce0.1Mn0.9Pd0.1O3. The existence of higher valence (Pd3+ and Pd4+) than the bivalence in Pr0.9Ce0.1Mn0.9Pd0.1O3 catalyst was evidenced by XPS analysis. Laser action in active random media in the weak scattering regime far from Anderson localization is investigated by coupling Maxwell's equations with the rate equations of a four-level atomic system. We report systematic lasing action with resonant feedback and show that the lasing modes mostly consist of traveling waves spatially extended over the whole system. Next we address the question of the origin of the feedback mechanism in such a system where no disorder-induced long-lived resonances are available, and present strong evidence that they correspond to the quasimodes of the passive system. This in turn provides an original way to access the spatial distribution of the quasimodes of a non-Hermitian system.  相似文献

In this review article, we describe turbulence control in excitable systems by using a local periodic pacing method. The controllability conditions of turbulence suppression and the mechanisms underlying these conditions are analyzed. The local pacing method is applied to control Winfree turbulence (WT) and defect turbulence (DT) induced by spiral-wave breakup. It is shown that WT can always be suppressed by local pacing if the pacing amplitude and frequency are properly chosen. On the other hand, the pacing method can achieve suppression of DT induced by instabilities associated with the motions of spiral tips while failing to suppress DT induced by the instabilities of wave propagation far from tips. In the latter case, an auxiliary method of applying gradient field is suggested to improve the control effects. The implication of this local pacing method to realistic cardiac defibrillation is addressed.  相似文献

Multicolor encoded beads were achieved by incorporating two color core-shell quantum dots (QDs) (CdSe/ZnS) to commercial polystyrene (PS) beads. By controlling the concentration ratios of the two quantum dots (QDs) in doping solutions, a series of codes with different intensity ratios were obtained. Based on the multiple encoded carboxylic modified polystyrene beads, fluorescent dyes labeled antibodies were distinguished successfully on the beads’ surface. It suggests that the encoded beads from this method have the practicability in biological applications and chemical analysis.
