Hydrated copper (II) perchlorate (in acetonitrile) has been used for the direct visual and potentiometric determination of ascorbic acid in acetic acid-acetonitrile media. Diphenylamine and diphenylbenzidine are suitable indicators. A bright platinum wire is used as indicator electrode and a modified calomel or an antimony electrode as reference electrode for the potentiometric titration. Ascorbic acid is oxidized to dehydroascorbic acid. The proposed method is simple, accurate and reliable. The reverse titration also works well.  相似文献

Headspace solvent microextraction (HSME) into a single drop is developed for the determination of six trihalomethanes, CH2Cl2, CHCl3, C4H9Cl, CCl4, C2HCl3, and C2Cl4, in aqueous solution. A drop of benzyl alcohol containing bromoform, as an internal standard, is used for extraction. The analytes are extracted by suspending a 3-microL drop directly from the needle of a microsyringe. The needle passes through the septum of a vessel, and the needle tip appears above the surface of the solution. After the prescribed extraction time, the drop is drawn back into the syringe. The syringe is then removed, and its content is injected directly into a gas chromatography column for analysis. The main parameters affecting the HSME process, such as stirring speed, microdrop volume, sample solution temperature, microsyringe needle temperature, sample volume, solution pH, extracting solvent, and ionic strength of the solution, are studied. Also, the linear range and precision of the method are examined.  相似文献

Abstract

Few conversions cannot take place with ground-state reactions even with the help of a catalyst, therefore they are made to occur under photochemical conditions. The transfer of electrons took place even with the photochemical excitement of one molecule where redox reaction cannot occur at the ground state. The ground-state reactions resulted in the formation of side products. The substrates did not require any sort of chemical activation for C–N bond construction in the course of photochemical reactions. The source of energy; light has always been the interest of researchers in order to induce chemical reactions ever since the starting of scientific chemistry. The present review encloses the chemistry of photochemical transformations with a focus on their synthetic uses. The organic photochemical reactions prevent the polluting or harmful reagents thus, provides a possibility for sustainable procedures as well as green chemistry. This review article displays the formation of numerous of five-membered fused nitrogen-heterocyclic compounds.  相似文献

 A novel sensitive and simple method for rapid and selective extraction, preconcentration and determination of iron (as its bathophenanthroline complex) and copper (as its neocuproine complex) using octadecyl silica cartridges and dual wavelength spectrophotometry is presented. The dual wavelength method (533 nm for the iron-bathophenanthroline and 454 nm for the copper-neocuproine as the analytical wavelength) is used to eliminate spectral interferences. Extraction efficiency and the influence of flow rates of sample solution and eluent, pH, amount of neocuproine, bathophenanthroline and hydroxylamine hydrochloride, type and least amount of eluent for elution of iron and copper complexes from cartridge, break-through volume and limit of detection are evaluated. The effects of various cationic and anionic interferences on percent recovery of iron and copper are also studied. Extraction efficiencies >95% are obtained by elution of cartridges with minimal amount of organic solvent. Iron and copper were determined in the range of 3–100 ng mL−1. The limits of detection are 0.98 and 1.13 ng mL−1 for iron and copper, respectively. The proposed method is applied successfully to the determination of both analytes in river, tap and well water samples. Author for correspondence. A novel method for effecting the aza-Michael reactions of N-alkyl- and N-arylpiperazines with acrylonitrile using Cu-nanoparticles is described. The method features the use of 10 mol % Cu (14-17 nm) nanoparticles under mild reaction conditions to afford the addition products in good to excellent yields. The Cu-nanoparticles selectively catalysed the aza-Michael reaction of N-alkyl- and N-arylpiperazines in the presence of aromatic amino or aliphatic hydroxy groups.  相似文献

The Fe(III)-EDTA complex reacts with sulfide ion in a fast electron transfer reaction, oxidising the latter to elemental sulfur and getting itself reduced to Fe(II). The reaction has been developed for the quantitative estimation of sulfide ion by titration against the Fe(III)-EDTA complex, measuring the redox potential of the system. Repeated use of a given quantity of the complex solution by the process of regeneration has been demonstrated. The possibility of its practical application in liquid phase oxidation processes of recovering sulfur from H2S is emphasized.  相似文献

Addition of ethenyllithium reagents to the carbonyl group of dialkyl squarate-derived 1-alkynylbicyclo[3.2.0]hept-2-ene-7-ones (15), followed by a TBAF workup, results in a low-temperature anion-accelerated alkoxy-Cope rearrangement which proceeds by way of a strained cyclic allene intermediates (e.g.,17). This leads to the formation of angularly fused triquinanes (e.g., 20) in which each of the rings is functionally differentiated. Bicyclo[6.3. 0]undecadienones (e.g., 36) are the major products when the reactions are quenched with aqueous bicarbonate rather than TBAF. Under analogous conditions 2-alkylidene-1-alkynylbicyclo[3.2. 0]heptan-7-ones also give bicyclo[6.3.0]undecadienones by a mechanism that was established to involve a 1,5-hydrgen shift in a strained allene intermediate. The synthetic scope and mechanism of these and related transformations are discussed.  相似文献

A simple and accurate method has been developed for the determination of organoisothiocyanates and organoisocyanates based on their quantitative reaction with n-butylamine in dimethylformamide medium to form substituted thioureas and ureas, respectively. The solution is mixed with 6 to 7 times its volume of acetonitrile and an excess of carbon disulphide, which converts the residual amine quantitatively into the corresponding n-butylammonium n-butyl dithiocarbamate. The determination is completed by titrating the resulting dithiocarbamate with iodine monobromide solution in acetonitrile. The end point is detected visually by the yellow color imparted to the solution by the first drop of oxidant solution in excess. The dithiocarbamates are quantitatively oxidized to the corresponding thiuram disulphides.  相似文献

Vanadium(IV) forms colored chelates with Erio T and Solo 6 BN (λmax 570 and 580 nm, respectively) at pH 3.8. The composition MR2 of the chelates investigated was established by continuous variation, mole ratio, slope ratio and straight-line methods spectrophotometrically. For photometric determination of V(IV) with these reagents Sandell's sensitivity, Beer's law range, Ringbom optimum range were also determined. Bjerrum and Calvin potentiometric titration technique was employed to determine the stepwise formation constants of each system. For V(IV)-Erio T system values of log K1 = 14.4, log K2 = 10.9 and for V(IV)-Solo 6 BN system log K1 = 16.1, log K2 = 11.8 were obtained.  相似文献

Ammonium hexanitratocerate (in acetonitrile) solution has been used as an oxidimetric reagent for the visual and potentiometric determination of thiourea and its alkyl derivatives in acetonitrile medium.
