Preparation and catalytic performance of superfine Ni/BaTiO3 catalyst

Superfine Ni/BaTiO₃ catalysts were prepared by impregnation method and used successfully for CO₂ reforming CH₄ to syngas. The effects of preparation method and the temperatures of calcination, reduction and reaction on the catalytic activity of the Ni/BaTiO₃ system were investigated. Synthesis of a novel methacrylic monomer iniferter and its application in surface photografting on crosslinked polymer substrates

(Methacryloyl ethylenedioxycarbonyl) benzyl N,N‐diethyldithiocarbamate (HEMA‐E‐In) was synthesized and used as a monomer iniferter to develop a novel, photopatternable grafting technology. This molecule functions as both a methacrylic monomer and a photoiniferter (photoinitiator–transfer agent–terminator). The structure of HEMA‐E‐In was characterized by ¹H NMR, Fourier transform infrared, and ultraviolet–visible spectroscopies. In the presence of the monomer iniferter, methyl methacrylate was polymerized by exposure to 365‐nm ultraviolet radiation, confirming the initiation capability of HEMA‐E‐In. After the copolymerization of HEMA‐E‐In into a methacrylate‐based polymer, attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectra revealed that the photoiniferter functionality was present at the surface of this polymeric substrate. Photografting of poly(ethylene glycol) monomethacrylate monomer from the surface caused a significant change in the hydrophobicity of the surface as demonstrated by contact angle measurements. The novel monomer photoiniferter HEMA‐E‐In initiates the polymerization of bulk monomer and provides a reactive functionality that facilitates further initiation and polymer modification by the polymerization of different monomers. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 关于静电作用对酶活性部位残基pKa影响的定量计算

随着基因技术的发展,人们几乎已经可以任意替换蛋白质序列中的特定残基。由于理论上对蛋白质性能的预测工作还远远跟不上实验的发展,只能花费大量的人力、物力利用实验方法筛选突变体。这就迫切需要建立一套能够正确预测蛋白质性质的方法。静电作用在酶促反应中起到了重要作用。基于表面带电残基对酶活性部位残基pK_α的影响,可利用替换表面残基的方法改变酶促反应随pH的变化趋势,是蛋白质工程研究中的一种有效方法。由于表面极性残基处于高介电常数的溶剂(水)与低介电常数的蛋白质的界面上,对此问题尚未有圆满的理论方法进行解决。我们利用Kirkwood理论定量地表述了表面荷电残基的替换对酶活性部位残基pK_α的影响,为研究酶突变体的性质,如突变体的电化学性质、酶催化反应随pH变化趋势的改变,酶专一性的改变等提供了一种简便的方法。     

Hydroxylation of nigranoic acid to 6β-hydroxynigranoic acid by Caryospora carllicarpa YMF1.01026

Microbial transformation of nigranoic acid by Caryospora carllicarpa YMF1.01026 afforded the new derivative 6β-hydro-xynigranoic acid. Its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic methods.     

Different protein expression of myocardium from Chinese mini-swine model of myocardial infarct

High-resolution two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE), followed by computer-assisted image analysis was used to screen protein patterns of normal and infarcted myocardial tissues for quantitative and qualitative differences in protein expression. In the gels of pH 5–8 immobilized pH gradient (IPG) strips, 851 protein spots were detected in normal myocardial tissue and 1 032 protein spots were resolved in infarcted myocardial tissue. Thirteen protein spots only expressed in normal myocardial tissue, and 14 protein spots only expressed in infarcted myocardial tissue. Results also showed that 49 protein spots displayed quantitative changes in expression between normal and infarcted myocardial tissue. Eleven protein spots were subjected to mass spectrometry (MS) analysis and seven proteins were identified by peptide mass fingerprinting (PMF). A concise synthesis of nornitidine via nickel- or palladium-catalyzed annulation

A concise method to synthesize benzo[c]phenanthridine alkaloid, nornitidine, was developed utilizing nickel- or palladium-catalyzed iminoannulation of an internal alkyne. The advantages of this strategy included readily available starting materials, inexpensive reagents, short reaction steps, and good yields.     

小儿佝偻病血中微量元素的观察

对７１例确诊为不同阶段的佝偻病患儿同时进行观察血液中微量元素锌、铜、铅以及血清钙、磷、碱性磷酸酶的变化。结果表明，佝偻病组的血铸、血钙、血磷均低于正常组，血铅、ＡＫＰ高于正常组，血铜则两组无大差异，但铜／锌比值正常组为０．２２±０．６３明显低于佝偻病组０．３６±０．５５，ｔ＝３．２０，Ｐ＜０．０５．各期佝偻病微量元素的变化与正常儿对比，在佝偻病的初期血磷略低于正常，血锌明显减少，碱性磷酸酶升高。在疾病的激期钙、磷、锌明显低于正常，碱性磷酸酶及铅升高，恢复期各元素基本恢复正常。
