This paper presents the results of morphological and ac electrical investigations on low density polyethylene (LDPE) composites with octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS). It has been shown that at low loadings, the frequency dependence of dielectric constant and dielectric loss for the LDPE/POSS composites showed unusual behaviors when compared with conventional (micro-sized particulates) composites. The ac breakdown strength was measured and statistical analysis was applied to the results to determine the effects of POSS loadings on the dielectric strength of LDPE. The morphological characterization showed that the presence of POSS additives apparently altered the supermolecular structure of LDPE and resulted in more homogeneous morphology when compared with the neat LDPE. The structure-property relationship was discussed and it was concluded that the final dielectric properties of the composites were determined not only by the incorporation of POSS additives but also by the supermolecular structure of LDPE. Rheological analyses of LDPE/POSS composite were also performed and the results showed that the octavinyl-POSS had good compatibility with LDPE.  相似文献

Fe3O4 nanoparticles and thin films were prepared on the Au(1 1 1) surface and characterized using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). Fe3O4 was formed by annealing α-Fe2O3(0 0 0 1) structures on Au(1 1 1) at 750 K in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) for 60 min. Transformation of the α-Fe2O3(0 0 0 1) structures into Fe3O4 nanoparticles and thin films was supported by XPS. STM images show that during the growth procedure used, Fe3O4 initially appears as nanoparticles at low coverages, and forms thin films at ~2 monolayer equivalents (MLE) of iron. Two types of ordered superstructures were observed on the Fe3O4 particles with periodicities of ~50 and ~42 Å, respectively. As the Fe3O4 particles form more continuous films, the ~50 Å feature was the predominant superstructure observed. The Fe3O4 structures at all coverages show a hexagonal unit cell with a ~3 Å periodicity in the atomically resolved STM images.  相似文献

Solid‐state electrolytes have emerged as a promising alternative to existing liquid electrolytes for next generation Li‐ion batteries for better safety and stability. Of various types of solid electrolytes, composite polymer electrolytes exhibit acceptable Li‐ion conductivity due to the interaction between nanofillers and polymer. Nevertheless, the agglomeration of nanofillers at high concentration has been a major obstacle for improving Li‐ion conductivity. In this study, we designed a three‐dimensional (3D) nanostructured hydrogel‐derived Li0.35La0.55TiO3 (LLTO) framework, which was used as a 3D nanofiller for high‐performance composite polymer Li‐ion electrolyte. The systematic percolation study revealed that the pre‐percolating structure of LLTO framework improved Li‐ion conductivity to 8.8×10?5 S cm?1 at room temperature.  相似文献

Ni-doped anatase TiO2 nanobelts (NBs) with different Ni2+ contents were simply prepared by combining ion-exchange with hydrothermal treatment. They were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and magnetic measurement techniques. The results showed that Ni2+ cations doped into the TiO2 lattice and no metallic nickel clusters or nanoparticles could be found. The magnetic results demonstrated that the prepared Ni-doped TiO2 samples had complex magnetic mechanism including room-temperature ferromagnetic and paramagnetic behaviors, and with the increase of Ni2+ content, the magnetization also increased under the same applied field owing to uniform distribution of Ni2+ ions in TiO2 nanobelts.  相似文献

The chemical nature of copper and copper oxide (Cu 2O) surfaces in the presence of CO 2 and H 2O at room temperature was investigated using ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The studies reveal that in the presence of 0.1 torr CO 2 several species form on the initially clean Cu, including carbonate CO 3 (2) (-), CO 2 (delta-) and C (0), while no modifications occur on an oxidized surface. The addition of 0.1 ML Zn to the Cu results in the complete conversion of CO 2 (delta-) to carbonate. In a mixture of 0.1 torr H 2O and 0.1 torr CO 2, new species are formed, including hydroxyl, formate and methoxy, with H 2O providing the hydrogen needed for the formation of hydrogenated species.  相似文献

Many materials used as phononic crystals (PCs) are viscoelastic one. It is believed that viscosity results in damping to attenuate wave propagation, which may help to tune the defect modes or band gaps of viscoelastic phononic crystals. To investigate above phenomenon, firstly, we have extended the application of boundary element method (BEM) to the study of viscoelastic phononic crystals with and without a point defect. A new developed BEM within the framework of Bloch theory can easily deal with viscoelastic phononic crystals with arbitrary shapes of the scatterers. Experimental methods have been put forward based on the self-made viscoelastic phononic crystals. Verified by the experimental results, systematic comprehensive parametric studies on the band structure of viscoelastic phononic crystals with varying factors (final–initial value ratio, relaxation time, volume fraction of scatterers, shapes of scatterers) have been discussed by the numerical simulation. To further address the possibility to change the defect modes, the band structure of viscoelastic phononic crystals with a point defect has been studied based on the numerical and experimental methods. From present research work, it can be found that by adjusting the two viscous parameters combined with considering the effect of volume fraction and shapes, a wider and lower initial forbidden frequency or lower and higher quality factor resonant frequency can be obtained.  相似文献

This paper aimed to build up a sensitive CE method for the analysis of tetracyclines (TCs) antibiotics (including tetracycline, chlorotetracycline, oxytetracycline, and doxycycline) with conventional UV detection. Here, the large volume sample stacking was applied to achieve in capillary preconcentration of the targets. To achieve large volume sample stacking, the essential step was a large volume of sample (around 83.3% of total capillary length from inlet to detection window) hydrodynamically loaded. Then, the reserved voltage was added in order to push the sample matrix out of the capillary. Due to different pH between sample solution (pH 4.6) and BGE (pH 11.0), the cationic TCs would turn into negatively charged while the sample matrix was removing from the capillary. Finally, the anionic TCs were stacked at the inlet for the subsequent separation. Although the loss of sample existed during their charge transformation, the LODs could be improved around 40 times than that obtained by normal hydrodynamic injection CE method. Here, the LODs were in the range of 8.1–14.5 μg/L, around 10 ppb that close to the level by electrochemiluminescence or laser‐induced fluorescence detection of TCs by CE. The precision was characterized by RSDs of migration times and peak areas, which were in the range of 0.19–0.24% and 0.97–2.54%, respectively. The recoveries of the developed method were in the range of 95–112% by spiking TCs in the tap water. The proposed inline preconcentration CE method could be a simple, speed, and sensitive method for the quantitative analysis of TCs.  相似文献
