Two New Ionone Derivatives from Rhododendron przewalskii Maxim

Two new ionone derivatives,named rhododendrone and rhododendronside,were isolated from the alcohoilc extract of the aerial parts of Rhododendron przwalskii Maxim.Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis.

Superconvergence of discontinuous Galerkin finite element method for the stationary Navier‐Stokes equations

This article focuses on discontinuous Galerkin method for the two‐ or three‐dimensional stationary incompressible Navier‐Stokes equations. The velocity field is approximated by discontinuous locally solenoidal finite element, and the pressure is approximated by the standard conforming finite element. Then, superconvergence of nonconforming finite element approximations is applied by using least‐squares surface fitting for the stationary Navier‐Stokes equations. The method ameliorates the two noticeable disadvantages about the given finite element pair. On Donaldson’s flow of surfaces in a hyperkähler four-manifold

We prove some basic properties of Donaldson’s flow of surfaces in a hyperkähler 4-manifold. When the initial submanifold is symplectic with respect to one Kähler form and Lagrangian with respect to another, we show that certain kinds of singularities cannot form, and we prove a convergence result under a condition related to one considered by M.-T. Wang for the mean curvature flow.     

Coordinating inventory control and pricing strategies: The continuous review model

We analyze an infinite horizon, single product, continuous review model in which pricing and inventory decisions are made simultaneously and ordering cost includes a fixed cost. We show that there exists a stationary (s,S) inventory policy maximizing the expected discounted or expected average profit under general conditions.

On Basic Constraint Qualifications for Infinite System of Convex Inequalities in Banach Spaces

The BCQ and the Abadie CQ for infinite systems of convex inequalities in Banach spaces are characterized in terms of the upper semi-continuity of the convex cones generated by the subdifferentials of active convex functions. Some relationships with other constraint qualifications such as the CPLV and the Slate condition are also studied. Applications in best approximation theory are provided.

中国外汇储备近几年的迅速增长引发了关于中国外汇储备规模是否适度的广泛讨论。本文从需求的角度,运用计量经济学的多元线性回归的方法,建立中国外汇储备与平均进口倾向、进口和国际收支三变量的双对数模型,通过计算并通过相关检验得到外汇储备与相关变量的弹性系数。为预测和制定相关政策提供依据。     

Extension of Isometries Between the Unit Spheres of Normed Space E and C（Ω）

In this paper, we study the extension of isometries between the unit spheres of normed space E and C（Ω）. We obtain that any surjective isometry between the unit spheres of normed space E and C（Ω） can be extended to be a linear isometry on the whole space E and give an affirmative answer to the corresponding Tingley＇s problem （where Ω be a compact metric space）.     

Dimensional variation in production of high-aspect-ratio micro-pillars array by micro powder injection molding

Micro powder injection molding (μPIM) is one of the potential processes for the mass production of metallic microstructures and micro components. Here, μPIM is the miniaturization of conventional PIM, which involves four processing steps: mixing, injection molding, debinding and sintering. This paper looks into the feasibility and effectiveness of μPIM as a key mass production process for the fabrication of metallic micro components. For it to be an effective re-production process, it is imperative to examine how well parts can be duplicated/fabricated from a master mold. In this work, the dimensional variation of high-aspect-ratio micro-pillars arrays, in particular the dimensional shrinkage, global warpage, and surface roughness at each stage of the μPIM process for a range of molding pressures, are quantified and compared in detail. The sensitivity of the dimensional variation of the microstructures to the packing pressure is reported. The mechanism behind the dimensional variation is analyzed.
