Synthesis of Two Schiff Base Transition Metal Complexes Bearing Morpholine Side Chains and Kinetics of PNPP Catalytic Hydrolysis in Brij35 Micelle

Two Schiff base transitional metal complexes bearing morpholine side chains were synthesized and characterized, and were used as a simulative hydrolase in the catalytic hydrolysis of p‐nitrophenyl picolinate (PNPP) in this article. A mechanism of PNPP catalytic hydrolysis in the Brij35 micellar solution was proposed and supported by the results of the spectral analysis and the kinetic calculation. The kinetic model of PNPP catalytic hydrolysis was studied. The some kinetic and the thermodynamic constants on the catalytic reaction were calculated. The results of the study show that the metallomicelle made up of the Schiff base transitional metal complexes and Brij35 micelle revealed a good catalytic activity in PNPP catalytic hydrolysis; the rate of the PNPP catalytic hydrolysis is increased following the increase of the pH values in the buffer solution and affected by the polarization action of metal ion of complex.     

Effects of Spacer Chain Length and Additives on Solution Properties of Cationic Gemini Surfactant

The critical micelle concentration (CMC) has been determined for the gemini surfactant trimethylene-1,3-bis(dodecyldimethyl ammonium bromide)12-s-12,2Br^?1 by means of electricity conductivity measurements. For the same number of carbon atoms in the hydrophobic chain per hydrophilic head group, geminis have CMC values well below those of conventional single-chain cationic surfactants. The CMC of 12-3-12 reduces with the addition of n-alcohol except ethanol and with the increase of n-alcohol chain length as well as increase of concentration of n-butanol and sodium chloride. Steady-state fluorescence quenching technology has been employed to study the aggregation number of micelle, which increases with increase in the length of n-alcohol. The Kraft temperature measurements also indicate that the stability of solid surfactant hydrate decreases along with the improvement of concentration of n-butanol and sodium chloride.     

Synthesis and Characterization of Functionalized Polyorganosiloxanes Containing Amino and Fluorocarbon Side Chains

A series of functional polyorganosiloxanes containing fluorocarbon side chain and amino groups had been synthesized by ring-opening polymerization. The raw materials used were Octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane (D₄), dodecafluoroheptyl-propyl-trimethoxylsilane (502) and γ-aminopropyltriethoxylsilane (550), respectively. FTIR, ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, and ¹⁹F-NMR were used to characterize the copolymer structures. The surface properties of the functional polyorganosiloxanes emulsions were discussed. The results showed that the functional polyorganosiloxanes containing fluorocarbon and amino side chains had low surface tension and excellent water repellency.     

Dissipation of the plant growth regulator hexanoic acid 2-(diethylamino) ethyl ester in pakchoi and soil

A rapid and simple method for determining the plant growth regulator hexanoic acid 2-(diethylamino) ethyl ester (DA-6) in pakchoi and soil using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) has been developed. For this purpose, a single step was used to extract DA-6 with dichloromethane from aqueous-acetone extracts of vegetables and soil. Average recoveries of DA-6 in pakchoi and soil were between 85% and 104% at both spiking levels 0.01 and 0.1 mg kg^?1. Relative standard deviations (RSD) were less than 11% for all of the recovery tests. The degradation of DA-6 in pakchoi and soil was studied. The results showed that DA-6 degradation in pakchoi and soil coincided with C = 3.9903 e^{?0.0516 t} , C = 0.3476 e^{?0.0224 t} , respectively; the half-lives were 13.43 h and 30.94 h in pakchoi and soil in Beijing, respectively.     

Studies on the electro-optical and the light-scattering properties of PDLC films with the size gradient of the LC droplets

Polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) films with the size gradient of the LC droplets were prepared based on the epoxy/acrylate hybrid polymer matrix. The ultraviolet (UV) intensity gradient was induced by the UV-absorbing dye over the thickness of the samples. Taking advantage of the difference between the epoxy monomers and acrylate monomers in polymerisation rates and the UV intensity gradient, the gradient distribution of the LC droplet size was formed in PDLC films. The effect of the size gradient of the LC droplets on the electro-optical and the light-scattering properties of PDLC films was investigated. The results showed that due to the size gradient distribution of the LC droplets, PDLC films could exhibit the strong light scattering in the UV-visible-near infrared (VIS-NIR) region. Consequently, it provides a potential approach for modulating NIR light transmittance.

首次合成了一种新的1.2-双(3,4:9,10-二苯并-5,8-二氧杂-1,12-二氮杂环十五烷-N-乙酸)乙烷大环配体,制备了它的8个镧系元素(La,Pr,Nd,Sm,EU,Gd,Dy,Yb)配合物,用红外光谱、元素分析、核磁共振谱及电导等方法进行了表征,讨论了可能的配位情况。     

不可逆电极过程方波伏安法动力学研究 Ⅰ.平行催化体系

本文报道了在不可逆电极过程的强催化体系中，当采用快速方波扫描时，正、逆向电流将出现峰形。依据实验结果，提出了“迁出－进入”的等浓度面理论模型，推导了并讨论了电流方程式。结果表明，文中提出的理论能较好地说明实验结果。
