Damping width of double resonances

Damping width of the double giant dipole resonance of ¹³⁶Xe excited in relativistic heavy ion collisions is calculated by diagonalizing a microscopic Hamiltonian in a basis containing one-, two- and three-phonon states. The coupling between these states is determined making use of the fermion structure of the phonons. The resulting width of the double giant dipole resonance is close to \(\left( {3_1^ + } \right)\) times the width of the single giant dipole resonance.     

Exact solution of the Heisenberg XXZ model of spin s

A generalization of the Heisenberg XXZ model to the case of arbitrary spin with anisotropy of light-plane type is investigated. The base state of the system, the spectrum of excitations over it, and their scattering matrix are found. Microwave-assisted synthesis and in-situ self-assembly of coaxial Ag/C nanocables

We have successfully developed a new one-pot solution-phase route, namely microwave-assisted hydrothermal reduction/carbonization (MAHRC), for a rapid synthesis of coaxial Ag/C nanocables. The nanocables can self-assemble in situ in an end-to-end fashion into interconnected chains.     

新型氮杂2-β萘基苯并噁唑分子设计与光物理性质的研究

为了寻找新的有效光敏材料，设计了一系列新型氮杂2-β萘基苯并恶唑分子，用改进的PPP-SCF-CI方法，对设计分子的第一激发单线态，三线态，振子强度和跃迁矩等光物理性质进行了较为详细的研究，筛选出了一些新型的具有特殊光物理特性的分子，并预测了有可能产生新型氮杂2-β萘基苯并恶唑分子类光敏感功能材料的取代基部位。     

Distribution of a nonstationary electron beam in a dense gas

The problem of the temporal and spatial dependences of the parameters of the action of a modulated fast-electron beam on a dense gas is posed on the basis of the transport equation. The problem is simplified by making it nondimensional and by transforming to the Fokker-Planck approximation. A Green's function formalism is developed for this problem and is used to express the solution of the general nonstationary problem in the form of a convolution of a nonstationary boundary flow with a stationary Green's function. The use of the derived equation is illustrated using as an example the solution of a problem with the simplest stationary Green's function corresponding to the straight-ahead approximation. This approximation is used to consider a general relativistic case with model scattering cross sections. The methods and results of a numerical computer solution of the nonstationary problem of electron retardation in the upper layer of the atmosphere are surveyed.Translated from Trudy Ordena Lenina Fizicheskogo Instituta im.
