The domain states and phase transitions in 0.67Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.33PbTiO3 single crystals were investigated by studying their relative permittivity under various dc bias at constant heating and cooling rates. The orientation dependence of the bias field effect was revealed by examining the temperature dependence of relative permittivity as a function of crystal orientation (the 〈111〉, 〈011〉 and 〈001〉 directions) and dc bias field. The crystals basically have a macrodomain rhombohedral ferroelectric state in the ferroelectric phase under zero dc bias. External bias field could modulate the domain state and induce a stable macrodomain state in the crystals. Also, it is proposed that the dc bias applied along the 〈001〉 or 〈011〉 direction could induce a tetragonal ferroelectric phase or an orthorhombic ferroelectric phase, respectively, in an intermediate temperature range.  相似文献

We propose a ring resonator drop filter with feedback loop which can form the other ring cavity to produce an asymmetric Fano-resonance line shape and mode compression. By properly adjusting the feedback loop, the asymmetric line shapes of the transmission spectra can be controlled and selectively mode compression of the circuiting intensity in the feedback loop is achieved. Such characteristics are useful for applications in ring resonator-based photonic devices such as all-optical switches, sensors and intracavity frequency selection single-mode laser.  相似文献

Compositional segregation usually has negative effects on the growth of solid solution ferroelectric single crystals of Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3‐Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3‐PbTiO3 (abbr. PIN‐PMN‐PT or PIMNT). A modified Bridgman method was adopted in this work to control the segregation and improve the compositional homogeneity significantly. The characteristic of this work is to use multiround growths and gradient composition raw materials in order to keep the PbTiO3 concentration constant during the crystal growth. As an example, the two‐round growth of ternary PIN‐PMN‐PT single crystal is conducted in the same Pt crucible with gradient raw materials, where the first‐round boule was used as the seed crystal for the second‐round growth. Our results show that the as‐grown (Ф80 mm × 270 mm) PIN‐PMN‐PT crystals exhibit higher phase transition temperatures (Tc∼180 °C, Tr/t∼110 °C) and larger coercive field (Ec∼5–5.5 kV/cm), which are much better than the performances of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3‐PbTiO3 crystals, and similar dielectric and piezoelectric performances (ε∼5000, tanδ∼1.25%, d33∼1500 pC/N, kt∼60%). And about 85 percent of the crystal boule grown by the two‐round growth technique could maintain its compositions around the morphotropic phase boundary.  相似文献

Eu3+-doped Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 (Eu:NBT) single crystals were grown by a top-seeded solution growth method. Photoluminescence emission and excitation spectra of Eu:NBT were investigated. The two transitions in 7F0 → 5D0 excitation spectra reveal that Eu3+ ions were incorporated into two adjacent crystallographic sites in NBT, i.e., Bi3+ and Na+ sites. The former has a symmetrical surrounding, while the later has a disordered environment, which was confirmed by decay curve measurements. The dielectric dispersion behavior was depressed and the piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties were improved after Eu doping.  相似文献

This research was initiated to determine the effects of different constituents and properties of zeolite synthesized from fly ash (ZFA) on Cr(III) sorption. The uptake of Cr(III) by ZFA was influenced greatly by pH, increasing with the increase in pH. The pH was controlled mainly by calcium-related components (especially CaCO3 and free CaO) and zeolite components in ZFAs. Sorption maximum of Cr(III) (Qm), determined by a repeated batch equilibration method, ranged from 22.29 to 99.91 mg/g for the 14 ZFAs. The Q(m) value correlated significantly with Ca-related components. The correlation coefficients were 0.9467, 0.5469, 0.7521, and 0.9195 for total Ca, CaCO3, CaSO4, and f.CaO, respectively. The Qm value was also closely related to cation-exchange capacity (r=0.6872) and specific surface area (r=0.7249). Correlation coefficients of Qm with dissociated Fe2O3 and Al2O3 were much higher than those of total Fe and total Al contents, respectively. It was suggested that, in ZFAs, zeolite and iron oxide acted as ion exchanger and adsorbent for Cr(III), respectively, while Ca components elevated the pH of the reaction system and consequently promoted ion exchange and adsorption and caused the surface precipitation of chromium hydroxide.  相似文献
