Polystyrene-bound diethanolamine based ionic liquids for chemical fixation of CO2

Polystyrene-bound diethanolamine based ionic liquids (PS-DHEEAB and PS-THEAB) were synthesized and applied for the chemical fixation of CO₂ into cyclic carbonates without any additional co-catalyst and solvent. The effect of the catalysts with different number of hydroxyl group in the cation of the IL on the reaction was systematically investigated. Highest activity and selectivity were achieved in the presence of polystyrene supported diethanolamine ethyl bromide (PS-DHEEAB) in comparison with other catalysts employed. The catalyst was tough in stability and also found to be extended to a variety of terminal epoxides and aziridines. The relationship between high catalytic reactivity and the –OH functional groups was proposed.     

Synthesis of mikto‐topology star polymer containing one cyclic arm

Well‐defined mikto‐topology star polystyrene composed of one cyclic arm and four linear arms was synthesized by a combination of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and Cu‐catalyzed azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) click reaction. First, the bromine‐alkyne α,ω‐linear polystyrenes containing four hydroxyl groups protected with acetone‐based ketal groups were synthesized by ATRP of styrene using a designed initiator. Then, the bromine end‐group was converted to the azide and the linear polystyrene was cyclized intra‐molecularly by the CuAAC reaction. The four hydroxyl groups were released by deprotection and then esterified with 2‐bromoisobutyryl bromide to produce a cyclic polymer bearing four ATRP initiating units. By subsequent ATRP of styrene to grow linear polymers with the cyclic polystyrene as a macroinitiator, the mikto‐topology star polymers were prepared. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Copper‐catalyzed Clauson–Kass pyrroles synthesis in aqueous media

An efficient and convenient copper‐catalyzed Clauson–Kass reaction of 2,5‐dimethoxytetrahydrofuran with amines in aqueous media has been developed, providing a wide range of N‐substituted pyrroles in good yields. It is noteworthy that the Clauson–Kass reaction of 2,5‐dimethoxytetrahydrofuran with p‐phenylenediamine or m‐phenylenediamine proceeds smoothly to afford the corresponding monopyrroles and bispyrroles with high selectivity in impressive yields. A plausible mechanism for the formation of N‐substituted pyrroles has been proposed. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

镁离子内扩散铌酸锂研究(Ⅱ)—— X射线衍射和扫描电子显微镜表征

对不同扩散条件的铌酸锂单晶基片进行了X射线衍射分析(XRD)和扫描电子显微镜观察(SEM)。结果表明,在扩散表面富镁层出现一新相结构,可能是由Li-Mg-Nb-O组成的三元系相结构,这一新相被认为是镁离子内扩散的真正扩散源。并对晶格发生畸变、镁离子内扩散机理以及镁的扩散层折射率变化机理进行了分析和讨论。 关键词：     

Two Thiourea-based Colorimetric Sensors for Anions: Structure and Binding Study

Two colorimetric thiourea-based chemsensors with two relatively rigid arms, 2A and 2B, were synthesized. Their binding abilities with halide anions, AcO^?, [Formula: See Text] were studied by UV-Vis spectroscopy in DMSO. The two sensors showed a notable selective color response to F^? anion from colorless to green-yellow in recognition. The structures of the two sensors and their binding behaviors are discussed. The association constants were calculated by nonlinear fittings of 1:1, 1:2 or 1:1 to 1:2.     

Reductive Coupling of Aldehydes,Ketones and Aroyl Chlorides Induced by LVT Prepared from TiCl4/Al System

Aluminium powder has been used to reduce titanium tetrachloride to generate the low valent titanium (LVT)reagent which can induce the reductive coupling of aldehydes and ketones to form the corresponding pinacols or olefins. However, arylsulfonyl chlorides will give diaryldisulfides under the same condition.     

体积排阻色谱-电感耦合等离子体质谱分析富硒大米含硒蛋白组成

建立体积排阻色谱-电感耦合等离子体质谱(SEC-HPLC-ICP-MS)联用技术分析富硒大米含硒蛋白组成方法。通过水提、盐提、碱提和醇提方法提取,并用丙酮沉淀蛋白,硒的回收率分别为9.6%,16.8%,48.2%和14.9%,纯化后的蛋白结合硒的量由大到小依次为碱溶谷蛋白>球蛋白>醇溶蛋白>清蛋白。蛋白液经SEC-HPLC-ICP-MS检测,通过蛋白色谱峰(λ=280 nm)和ICP-MS硒峰(78Se)对比分析,利用分子量标准曲线测定出4类蛋白中含硒蛋白的分子量。结果表明,富硒大米中清蛋白和醇溶蛋白并不是硒的主要存在蛋白。硒主要存在于>7 kDa的碱溶谷蛋白和球蛋白,其中碱溶含硒蛋白主要组分F1分子量为199.8 kDa。     

Morphological Investigation of Midblock‐Sulfonated Block Ionomers Prepared from Solvents Differing in Polarity

Recent developments regarding charged multiblock copolymers that can form physical networks and exhibit robust mechanical properties herald new and exciting opportunities for contemporary technologies requiring amphiphilic attributes. Due to the presence of strong interactions, however, control over the phase behavior of such materials remains challenging, especially since their morphologies can be solvent‐templated. In this study, transmission electron microscopy and microtomography are employed to examine the morphological characteristics of midblock‐sulfonated pentablock ionomers prepared from solvents differing in polarity. Resultant images confirm that discrete, spherical ion‐rich microdomains form in films cast from a relatively nonpolar solvent, whereas an apparently mixed morphology with a continuous ion‐rich pathway is generated when the casting solvent is more highly polar. Detailed 3D analysis of the morphological characteristics confirms the coexistence of hexagonally‐packed nonpolar cylinders and lamellae, which facilitates the diffusion of ions and/or other polar species through the nanostructured medium.
