2D LnIII RuIII 2 compounds constructed from trans-[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]-. Syntheses, structures, and magnetic properties

A series of cyano-bridged Ln(III)Ru(III)2 coordination polymers, Ph4P{Ln(NO3)2[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]2} [Ln = Tb (1), Dy (2), Er (3), Gd (4); Hacac = acetylacetone] have been synthesized by the reaction of Ln(NO3)3 with trans-Ph4P[Ru(acac)2(CN)2] in methanol. X-ray crystallographic determination reveals that these compounds are isostructural and have a wavy (4,4) layer structure with the Ln3+ ions bridged by trans-[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]-. Magnetic studies shows that the magnetic coupling between the Ln(III) and Ru(III) ions through the cyano bridges in 1-4 is negligibly weak.     

Impressive europium red emission induced by two-photon excitation for biological applications

Three triazine-based europium(III) complexes were synthesized that demonstrated strong two-photon induced europium emission with a high two-photon absorption cross-section. The modified triazine ligand of complex 3 initiated over 100% enhancement of the two-photon absorption cross-section (σ(2): 320 GM) when compared with complex 1 (σ(2): 128 GM) in a solution of DMSO. Europium complex 3 is also stable in vitro, and power-dependence curves were obtained in vitro to confirm the two-photon-induced f-f emission in HeLa cells.     

Intramolecular (4+3) cycloadditions of nitrogen-tethered epoxy enosilanes for the synthesis of heteropolycycles

Furans bearing epoxy enolsilane units linked by a nitrogen heteroatom tether undergo intramolecular (4 + 3) cycloadditions to generate bis-heteroatomic polycyclic adducts having piperidine moieties in their frameworks. The cycloadducts, ultimately derived from furfural, a renewal chemical feedstock, are obtained with up to 4:1 dr and with ee retained from the epoxide.     

Molecular Switching in the Near Infrared (NIR) to Visible/NIR f-f emission with a Functional-Lanthanide Complexes

We report the first observation of three photon induced NIR emission (890-1,400 nm) with NIR excitation (800 nm) from a newly synthesized organic neodymium complex with known molecular structure, suggests the potential use of lanthanide probes for use in three-dimensional imaging and further the study of multi- photon induced emission process in organic-lanthanide complexes.     

Synthesis and characterisation of high-nuclearity osmium-silver mixed-metal clusters

The reaction of the triosmium cluster anion, [Os(3)(micro-H)(CO)(11)][PPN] (PPN = [N(PPh(3))2]+), with [AgPF(6)] in the presence of [Ir(PPh(3))2(CO)Cl] in THF at room temperature affords two new high-nuclearity osmium-silver clusters, [Os(13)Ag(9)(CO)48][PPN] (1) and [Os(9)Ag(9)(micro3-O)2(CO)30][PPN] (2), and an iridium complex, [Ir(PPh(3))2(CO)Cl(O(2))] (3).

报道了配体Ｎ－（二茂铁基甲基）－１,４,７－氮杂－９－冠－３（Ｌ１）和Ｎ－（二茂钌基甲基）－１,４,７－氮杂－９－冠－３（Ｌ２）的Ｃｏ（Ⅲ）和Ｆｅ（Ⅲ）配合物１－４的合成及电化学性质,配合物「Ｃｏ（Ⅲ）（Ｌ１）２（ＡｃＯ）２（ＯＨ）」（ＣｌＯ４）（Ｉ）２（１）的晶体结构显示这些配合物具有线型排列的四金属中心结构,电化学研究表明：在这些配合物中,客体金属离子通过分子片断的电子传递作用使二茂金属的金属     

二茂钌共轭大环氮杂冠醚的合成及结构

合成并表征了质子化的N-(二茂钌基甲基)-1,4,7-三氮杂-9-冠-3(1)和N,N′,N″-三-(二茂钌基甲基)-1,4,7-三氮杂-9-冠-3(2).用X射线衍射法测定了化合物2的结构.化合物2的晶体属P₂₁/a空间群.晶胞参数a=1.4285(3)nm,b=1.9888(3)nm,c=1.9133(3)nm;β=109.12(2)°;V=5.1358(1.0)nm³;Z=4.D_c=1.665g/cm³.1和2的核磁共振谱表明,化合物中取代Cp环上质子的共振吸收较二茂钌Cp环上质子的吸收向低场移动.这表明质子化的1,4,7-三氮杂-9冠-3对Cp环上质子具有去屏蔽作用.化合物2的电位扫描曲线在0.84V处出现一个氧化波.
