The successive addition of KCN and Ph3CCl to B(C6F4-C6F5-2)3 (PBB) affords triphenylmethyl salts of the [NC-PBB]- anion. By contrast, the analogous reaction with sodium dicyanamide followed by treatment with Ph(3)CCl leads to the zwitterionic aminoborane H2NB(C12F9)2C12F8, via nucleophilic attack on an o-F atom, together with CPh3[F-PBB]. Whereas treatment of [NC-PBB]- with either PBB or B(C6F5)3 fails to give isolable cyano-bridged diborates, the reaction of Me3SiNC-B(C6F5)3 with PBB in the presence of Ph3CCl affords [Ph3C][PBB-NC-B(C6F5)3]. Due to steric hindrance this anion is prone to borane dissociation. The longer linking group N(CN)2- gives the very voluminous anions [N[CNB(C6F5)3]2]- and [N(CN-PBB)2]-. A comparison of propylene polymerisations with rac-Me2Si(Ind)2ZrMe2 activated with the various boranes or trityl borates gives an anion-dependent activity sequence, in the order [NC-PBB]- < [MeB(C6F5)3]- < [MePBB]- approximately [PBB-NCB(C6F5)3]- approximately [N[CNB(C6F5)3]2]- < [F-PBB]-< [B(C6F5)4]- < [N(CN-PBB)2]-. The anion [N(CN-PBB)2]- gives a catalyst productivity about 2500 times higher than that of [NC-PBB]- and exceeds that of [B(C6F5)4]- based catalysts. The van der Waals volumes and surface areas of the anions have been calculated and provide a rationale for the observed reactivity trends in polymerisation reactions. 相似文献

Treatment of dimethylmagnesium with the alpha-diimine ligands Ar'N=C(R)C(R)=NAr' [R = naphth-1,8-diyl (1), H (2), CH3 (3); Ar' = 2,6-diisopropylphenyl] in diethyl ether provides the neutral methyl-bridged dimeric complexes [(alpha-diimine-.)Mg+(mu-CH3)]2 via single electron transfer (SET) to the coordinated diimine and elimination of a methyl radical. These biradical species have been characterised by EPR spectroscopy and, for the ligand , X-ray crystallography. In the presence of THF the reaction of ligand proceeds to the diamagnetic [(ene-1,2-diamide)Mg(THF)3] complex in which the diimine ligand has been doubly reduced to an ene-diamide by two successive SET processes. Comparison of the structural data for the free ligand with that obtained for the alpha-diimine radical anion and ene-diamide complexes shows the expected increases in C-N, and decreases in C-C, bond lengths within the N-C-C-N unit consistent with the progressive reduction of the ligand. In the case of ligand , reaction at low temperature provides the complex [Mg(mu2-Me){Ar'NC(Me)2C(Me)NAr'}]2 in which methyl transfer to a ligand imine carbon atom has occurred. This species has also been structurally characterised. This contrasts with the formation of the radical species at room temperature, and indicates the involvement of an intermediate in which the radical products of the SET process are held in close proximity by the solvent cage. Two competing processes of methyl radical escape and methyl transfer to the ligand account for the formation of the observed products at different temperatures. 相似文献

The transition metal acyl compounds [Co(L)(CO)3(COMe)] (L = PMe3, PPhMe2, P(4-Me-C6H4)3, PPh3 and P(4-F-C6H4)3), [Mn(CO)5(COMe)] and [Mo(PPh3)(eta(5)-C5H5)(CO)2(COMe)] react with B(C6F5)3 to form the adducts [Co(L)(CO)3(C{OB(C6F5)3}Me)] (L = PMe3, 1, PPhMe2, 2, P(4-Me-C6H4)3, 3, PPh3, 4, P(4-F-C6H4)3), 5, [Mn(CO)5(C{OB(C6F5)3}Me)] 6 and [Mo(eta(5)-C5H5)(PPh3)(CO)2(C{OB(C6F5)3}Me)], 7. Addition of B(C6F5)3 to a cooled solution of [Mo(eta(5)-C5H5)(CO)3(Me)], under an atmosphere of CO gave [Mo(eta(5)-C5H5)(CO)3(C{OB(C6F5)3}Me)] 8. In the presence of adventitious water, the compound [Co{HOB(C6F5)3}2{OP(4-F-C6H4)3}2] 9, was formed from [Co(P(4-F-C6H4)3)(CO)3(C{OB(C6F5)3}Me)]. The compounds 4 and 9 have been structurally characterised. The use of B(C6F5)3 as a catalyst for the CO-induced migratory-insertion reaction in the transition metal alkyl compounds [Co(PPh3)(CO)3(Me)], [Mn(CO)5(Me)], [Mo(eta(5)-C5H5)(CO)3(Me)] and [Fe(eta(5)-C5H5)(CO)2(Me)] has been investigated. 相似文献

The crystal structure of the aluminosilicate MCM-68 was solved from synchrotron powder diffraction data by the program FOCUS. The unit cell framework contains Si100.6Al11.4O224. This material crystallizes in space group P42/mnm, where, after Rietveld refinement, a=18.286(1) A and c=20.208(2) A. A three-dimensional framework is found that contains continuous 12-ring channels and two orthogonal, intersecting, undulating 10-ring channels. Rietveld refinement of the model coordinates optimizes the framework geometry, to match the observed intensity profile by Rwp=0.1371, R(F2)=0.1411. It is not possible to determine the location of approximately 0.84 K+ cations remaining in the unit cell after the material is steamed and then dehydrated. The framework model also successfully predicts observed electron diffraction data in two projections, and the tetragonal projection can be determined independently from these data by direct methods. The calculated density of the framework structure is 1.66 g/cm3, and the T-site framework density is 16.6 T/1000 A3. 相似文献

The adsorption and thermal desorption of Zn and ZnO on Pd(111) was studied in the temperature range between 300 and 1300 K with TDS, LEED, and CO adsorption measurements. At temperatures below 400 K, multilayer growth of Zn metal on the Pd(111) surface takes place. At a coverage of 0.75 ML of Zn, a p(2 x 2)-3Zn LEED structure is observed. Increasing the coverage to 3 ML results in a (1 x 1) LEED pattern arising from an ordered Zn multilayer on Pd(111). Thermal desorption of the Zn multilayer state leads to two distinct Zn desorption peaks: a low-temperature desorption peak (400-650 K) arising from upper Zn layers and a second peak (800-1300 K) originating from the residual 1 ML Zn overlayer, which is more strongly bound to the Pd(111) surface and blocks CO adsorption completely. Above 650 K, this Zn adlayer diffuses into the subsurface region and the surface is depleted in Zn, as can be deduced from an increased amount of CO adsorption sites. Deposition of >3 ML of Zn at 750 K leads to the formation of a well-ordered Pd-Zn alloy exhibiting a (6 x 4 square root 3/3)rect. LEED structure. CO adsorption measurements on this surface alloy indicate a high Pd surface concentration and a strong reduction of the CO adsorption energy. Deposition of Zn at T > 373 K in 10(-6) mbar of O2 leads to the formation of an epitaxial (6 x 6) ZnO overlayer on Pd(111). Dissociative desorption of ZnO from this overlayer occurs quantitatively both with respect to Zn and O2 above 750 K, providing a reliable calibration for both ZnO, Zn, and oxygen coverage. 相似文献

Hyper-Raman scattering spectra of vitreous B(2)O(3) are compared to Raman scattering ones. Particular attention is given to the low-frequency boson peak which relates to out-of-plane rigid librations of planar structural units, mostly boroxols. While the Raman strength can be accounted for by the motions of single units, the hyper-Raman signal exhibits a unequaled enhancement due to coherent librations of several boroxols.
