An in-beam experiment with the reaction 122Sn(27Al,4np) at 127 MeV was performed at the Nordball multi-detector array in Roskilde. It provided evidence for a new high-spin
isomer in 144Sm. This isomer with T
1/2= (2.6 ± 0.5) ns at an excitation energy E
x= 9232 keV seems to belong to a family of isomers of similar configuration in neighbouring N= 82 nuclei.

The conductivity of thin film metal electrodes with a thickness of the order of the mean free path of the conduction electrons (50 nm at 300 K) is sensitive to several processes on the metal surface (e.g. adsorption and desorption of ions). We developed epitaxially grown Ag(100)/MgO(100) and Ag(111)/TiO2(110) electrodes of 20 nm thickness. The change in the surface resistance of Ag(100) thin film electrodes during adsorption of the halide ions Cl−, Br− and I− shows the different strengths of specific adsorption. We investigated the phase transition of thiocyanate (SCN−) on Ag(100) electrodes by combining the surface resistance method with voltammetric, capacitance and ex-situ XPS measurements. The influence of adsorbed uracil on the resistance of Ag(100) films was demonstrated. The surface resistance is very sensitive to small concentrations of metal cations (e.g. Tl+). The surface resistance of Ag(100) and Ag(111) thin film electrodes shows the typical difference in the stripping potential of Tl+ of about 100 mV. 相似文献

Differential cross sections for Compton scattering by the proton have been measured in the energy interval between 200 and 500 MeV at scattering angles of θcms = 75° and θcms = 90° using the CATS, the CATS/TRAJAN, and the COPP setups with the Glasgow Tagger at MAMI (Mainz). The data are compared with predictions from dispersion theory using photo-meson amplitudes from the recent VPI solution SM95. The experiment and the theoretical procedure are described in detail. It is found that the experiment and predictions are in agreement as far as the energy dependence of the differential cross sections in the Δ-range is concerned. However, there is evidence that a scaling down of the resonance part of the M1+3/2 photo-meson amplitude by (2.8 ± 0.9)% is required in comparison with the VPI analysis. The deduced value of the M1+3/2-photoproduction amplitude at the resonance energy of 320 MeV is: |M1+3/2| = (39.6 ± 0.4) × 10−3 mπ+−1. 相似文献

We consider the generalized Petersson–Weil metric on the moduli space of compact submanifolds of a Kähler manifold or a projective variety. It is extended as a positive current to the space of points corresponding to reduced fibers, and estimates are shown. For moduli of projective varieties the Petersson–Weil form is the curvature of a certain determinant line bundle equipped with a Quillen metric.
