The half life of the 206 kev state of Re187 was determined with delayed coincidence technic to be:T 1/2=(5·70±0·05)·10?7 s. The rotation of the spin of the 206 kev state in a magnetic field has been observed in a differential angular correlation measurement with the 480 kev?72 kevγ?γ cascade. From the observed Larmor frequency a magnetic moment ofμ=(5·02±0·06)μ K for the 206 kev level has been derived. The 480 kev?72 kevγ?γ angular correlation was found to be undisturbed in an aqueous solution of ammoniumtungstate. 相似文献

With the aim of a further investigation of the nonperturbative Hamiltonian approach in gauge field theories, the mass spectrum of QED-2 is calculated numerically by using the corrected Hamiltonian that was constructed previously for this theory on the light front. The calculations are performed for a wide range of the ratio of the fermion mass to the fermion charge at all values of the parameter \(\hat \theta \) related to the vacuum angle θ. The results obtained in this way are compared with the results of known numerical calculations on a lattice in Lorentz coordinates. A method is proposed for extrapolating the values obtained within the infrared-regularized theory to the limit where the regularization is removed. The resulting spectrum agrees well with the known results in the case of θ = 0; in the case of θ = π, there is agreement at small values of the fermionmass (below the phase-transition point). 相似文献

We briefly describe problems of the Hamiltonian approach for quantizing gauge fields on the light front for space–time bounded by the inequality |x
–|L with periodic boundary conditions in the variable x
– imposed on all fields (the DLCQ method). With these restrictions, we consider the gauge-invariant ultraviolet regularization by passing to a lattice in transverse coordinates. We remove the remaining ultraviolet divergences in the longitudinal momentum p
– by imposing a gauge-invariant finite-mode regularization. It turns out that the canonical formalism on the light front with such a regularization imposed does not contain the usual most complicated second-class constraints between zero and nonzero modes of fields. The described scheme can be used both to regularize the standard gauge theory and to provide a gauge-invariant formulation of effective low-energy models on the light front. Because the manifest Lorentz invariance is broken in our formalism, the vacuum state is poorly defined. . Our aim is to determine the ratio of the chargino couplings to the heavy scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs boson independently of the specific chargino decay characteristics. The precision of the measurement depends on the energy resolution of the muon collider and on the error in the measurement of the cross sections of the non-Higgs channels including an irreducible standard model background. Arterial spin tagging perfusion imaging of rat brain: dependency on magnetic field strength 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Perfusion-weighted imaging (PWI), using the method of arterial spin tagging, is strongly T(1)-dependent. This translates into a high field dependency of the perfusion signal intensity. In order to determine the expected signal improvement at higher magnetic fields we compared perfusion-weighted images in rat brain at 4.7 T and 7 T. Application of PWI to focal ischemia and functional activation of the brain and the use of two different anesthetics allowed the observation of a wide range of flow values. For all these (patho-)physiological conditions switching from 4.7 T to 7 T resulted in a significant increase of mean perfusion signal intensity by a factor of 2.96. The ratio of signal intensities of homotopic regions in the ipsi- and contralateral hemisphere was field-independent. The relative contribution of a) T(1) relaxation time, b) net magnetization, c) the Q-value of the receiver coils and d) the degree of adiabatic inversion to the signal improvement at higher field strength were discussed. It was shown that the main parameters contributing to the higher signal intensity are the lengthening of T(1) and the higher magnetization at the higher magnetic field. 相似文献

Low-field seeking neutrons were axially confined above the magnetic field. High-field seeking neutrons are trapped inside the magnetic field. A simple method for preparing bio-functionalized soluble single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) is described. Different proteins such as bovine serum albumin (BSA), cytochrome c and horseradish peroxidase (HRP) were used to solubilize low functionality SWNTs in water aided by sonication. The unbound proteins were removed by column chromatography and the SWNT-protein conjugate was used as the sole anionic dopant in electropolymerization of polypyrrole from polymerization solution at pH above the isoelectric point of the protein to provide a negative charge. The morphology of the polypyrrole with SWNT-protein dopant was found to be three-dimensional and fibrous with wide open interlocking pores in contrast to smooth and cauliflower-like for chloride doped polypyrrole. Enhanced sensor performance was demonstrated for hydrogen peroxide detection on polypyrrole/SWCNT-HRP nanocomposites modified electrode.
