We measured the isomeric yield ratios for the photonuclear reactions of 93Nb(??,4n)89m,gNb and natMo(??,xnp)95m,gNb by using the activation method. The high-purity 93Nb and natMo metallic foils in disc shape were irradiated with uncollimated bremsstrahlung beams of 50-, 60-, and 70-MeV generated from an electron linear accelerator in Pohang Accelerator Laboratory. The induced activities in the irradiated foils were measured by the high-resolution ??-ray spectrometry with a calibrated high-purity Germanium (HPGe) detector coupled to a PC-based 4?K multichannel analyzer. The reaction 93Nb(??,4n)89m,gNb was studied for the first time which has no comparable literature data. The result of 95m,gNb isomeric pair was measured based on (??,p), (??,np), and (??,2np) reactions which is the first measurement at the intermediate energy region of 50?C70-MeV with a natMo target.  相似文献

Here we describe a simple method to prepare voltammetric microelectrodes using tungsten wires as a substrate. Tungsten wires have a high tensile modulus and enable the fabrication of electrodes that have small dimensions overall while retaining rigidity. In this work, 125 microm tungsten wires with a conical tip were employed. For the preparation of gold or platinum ultramicroelectrodes, commercial tungsten microelectrodes, completely insulated except at the tip, were used as substrates. Following removal of oxides from the exposed tungsten, platinum or gold was electroplated, yielding surfaces with an electroactive area of between 1 x 10-6 and 2 x 10-6 cm2. Carbon surfaces on the etched tip of tungsten microwires were prepared by coating with photoresist followed by pyrolysis. The entire electrode was then insulated with Epoxylite except the tip, yielding an exposed carbon surface with an area of around 4 x 10-6 to 6 x 10-6 cm2. All three types of ultramicroelectrodes fabricated on the tungsten wire had similar electrochemical behavior to electrodes fabricated from wires or fibers insulated with glass tubes.  相似文献

Numerous studies have indicated that prosodic phrase boundaries may be marked by a variety of acoustic phenomena including segmental lengthening. It has not been established, however, whether this lengthening is restricted to the immediate vicinity of the boundary, or if it extends over some larger region. In this study, segmental lengthening in the vicinity of prosodic boundaries is examined and found to be restricted to the rhyme of the syllable preceding the boundary. By using a normalized measure of segmental lengthening, and by compensating for differences in speaking rate, it is also shown that at least four distinct types of boundaries can be distinguished on the basis of this lengthening.  相似文献

The apparent heterogeneous rate constant, k°app, for three couples known to undergo outer-sphere electron transfer reactions has been investigated at carbon, gold, and platinum electrodes as a function of solution pH. The rates are found to be pH dependent at two different types of glassy carbon and at carbon paste but not at metallic electrodes. The rate is found to decrease with increasing pH for Fe(CN)3?4?6 and IrCl2?3?6, and the opposite effect is observed for the Ru(NH3)3+2+6 couple. For the three compounds examined, the magnitude of the pH dependent rate changes can be associated with a change in the magnitude of the potential of the reaction layer induced by a change in surface charge of ~ 2 × 10?7 C cm?2. The pH dependence of the observed rate constant at glassy carbon can be attenuated by heat treatment, chemical reduction, or esterification of the surface. This behaviour is consistent with the theory that the pH dependence of k°app arises from the presence of functional groups on the carbon surface.  相似文献

Biocompatible hyaluronic acid (HA, hyaluronan) gel implants have altered the therapeutic landscape of surgery and medicine, fostering an array of innovative products that include viscosurgical aids, synovial supplements, and drug-eluting nanomaterials. However, it is perhaps the explosive growth in the cosmetic applications of injectable dermal fillers that has captured the brightest spotlight, emerging as the dominant modality in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. The popularity surge with which injectable HA fillers have risen to in vogue status has also brought a concomitant increase in the incidence of once-rare iatrogenic vaso-occlusive injuries ranging from disfiguring facial skin necrosis to disabling neuro-ophthalmological sequelae. As our understanding of the pathophysiology of these injuries has evolved, supplemented by more than a century of astute observations, the formulation of novel therapeutic and preventative strategies has permitted the amelioration of this burdensome complication. In this special issue article, we review the relevant mechanisms underlying HA filler-induced vascular occlusion (FIVO), with particular emphasis on the rheo-mechanical aspects of vascular blockade; the thromboembolic potential of HA mixtures; and the tissue-specific ischemic susceptibility of microvascular networks, which leads to underperfusion, hypoxia, and ultimate injury. In addition, recent therapeutic advances and novel considerations on the prevention and management of muco-cutaneous and neuro-ophthalmological complications are examined.  相似文献

Detectability of a filtered probe tone (250, 500, or 1000 Hz) was measured in the presence of a narrow-band Gaussian masker centered at the signal frequency. The signal was interaurally phase-reversed (Spi), and the masker's interaural correlation varied sinusoidally between +1.00 (NO) and -1.00 (Npi) at a varaible rate (fm = 0--4 Hz). The signal was presented at various points on the masker's modulation cycle. For 0-Hz modulation (fixed interaural correlation) signal threshold decreased monotonically as the masker's interaural correlation was changed from -1.00 to +1.00 (by a total of about 20, 16, and 8 dB, respectively, for 250-, 500-, and 1000-Hz signals). For fm greater than 0 the function relating signal threshold to the masker's interaural correlation at the moment of signal presentation became progressively flatter with increasing fm for all signal frequencies. For fm = 4 Hz the function was flat; there was no measurable effect of masker interaural correlation on signal detectability. Estimates of minimum binaural integration time based on these data ranged from 44--243 ms, supporting previous studies which have noted the binaural system's relative insensitivity to dynamic stimulation. Additionally, the estimated time constants were approximately twice as large at 250 Hz as at 500 Hz, indicating observers could follow binaural fluctuations better at 500 Hz. The time-constant estimates at 1000 Hz were not suggiciently reliable to permit comparisons with the lower-frequency data.  相似文献

A facile, convenient, efficient and high-yielding synthesis of 3-aroylcoumarinoflavones has been developed by the condensation of easily synthesized 7-hydroxy-8-formylflavones and benzoyl acetonitriles in the presence of catalytic amount of l-proline in ethanol reflux. All the synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antioxidant activity. Some of the compounds showed very good activity compared to standard BHT.  相似文献
