We prove that if F is a finite-dimensional Banach space and X has the super fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings, then FX has the super fixed point property with respect to a large class of norms including all lp norms, 1?p<∞. This study was aimed at characterizing paramagnetic properties of cokes formed on aluminas of different origin (calcined at 400 and 800°C) during catalytic reactions of hexafluoro-2-propanol decomposition and, for the sake of comparison, 2-propanol decomposition at 300 and 400°C. No significant differences in coke-forming activities were found between alumina obtained by hydrolysis of aluminium isopropoxide and that prepared by precipitation with ammonia from aluminium sulfate solution at pH 6.1, although they differed substantially in their acidity patterns. On the other hand, clear differences were observed between intensities of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra recorded for samples covered with coke produced by reactions of the two alcohols. When hexafluoro-2-propanol was the parent substance, spectral lines were stronger and narrower than those obtained for 2-propanol. The smaller linewidth (ΔB pp=0.29-0.54 mT compared to ΔB pp=0.51-0.92 mT) was most likely a result of exchange interactions between electrons of paramagnetic centers, whose concentrations were higher in the carbonaceous deposit formed from fluorine-containing alcohol. Higher temperature of coke formation (400°C) resulted in higher intensities of EPR spectra, whereas higher temperature of alumina calcination (800°C), prior to its use in alcohol decomposition reaction, brought about lower spectral intensities.  相似文献

A new NMR technique for determining long-range 1H-19F distances in solids is demonstrated. Using a modified rotational-echo double resonance (REDOR) sequence involving 1H homonuclear decoupling and composite 19F pulses, we show that it is possible to determine 1H-19F distances to approximately 8 A. The detrimental effect of the large 19F chemical shift to REDOR dephasing is partially compensated for by the composite pulse, 90 degrees 225 degrees 315 degrees . The 1HNLeu-19FPhe distance in the peptide f-MLF-OH was found to be 7.7 A. This was used to refine the Phe side chain conformation. The 1H-19F REDOR technique should be useful for restraining the three-dimensional structure of proteins.  相似文献

Membrane pores that are induced in oriented membranes by an antimicrobial peptide (AMP), protegrin-1 (PG-1), are investigated by (31)P and (2)H solid state NMR spectroscopy. We incorporated a well-studied peptide, protegrin-1 (PG-1), a beta-sheet AMP, to investigate AMP-induced dynamic supramolecular lipid assemblies at different peptide concentrations and membrane compositions. Anisotropic NMR line shapes specifying toroidal pores and thinned membranes, which are formed in membrane bilayers by the binding of AMPs, have been analyzed for the first time. Theoretical NMR line shapes of lipids distributed on the surface of toroidal pores and thinned membranes reproduce reasonably well the line shape characteristics of our experimentally measured (31)P and (2)H solid-state NMR spectra of oriented lipids binding with PG-1. The lateral diffusions of lipids are also analyzed from the motionally averaged one- and two-dimensional (31)P and (2)H solid-state NMR spectra of oriented lipids that are binding with AMPs.  相似文献

Natural hyperbolic materials have recently attracted great attention due to their capability of supporting spatial mode frequency much higher than artificial metamaterials and the advantage that they do not require nanofabrication processes. For practical applications, however, hyperbolic bulk materials with lower optical losses in shorter wavelength range should be developed. This work presents the electronic structure and dielectric response of an electride Mg2N, revealing that this material exhibits hyperbolic responses with low optical loss in the visible and plasmonic responses with high-quality in the near-infrared range. Negative refraction in the red spectral range has been analytically and numerically demonstrated. In particular, nanoantenna structures of Mg2N generate strong plasmonic resonances in the near-infrared and the intensity enhancement in the gap region is one order of magnitude higher compared with silver nanoantenna due to its much higher quality factor, which can find potential applications for nanoplasmonic purposes such as single molecule detections by surface-enhanced hyper-Raman spectroscopy and nonlinear wavelength generations at the nanoscale.  相似文献

Total and differential cross sections for the reactions p + d3He + m 0 with m=π, η and p + d3H+π+ were measured with the GEM detector at COSY for beam momenta between threshold and the maximum of the corresponding baryon resonance. For both reactions a strong forward-backward asymmetry was found. The data were compared with model calculations. The aspect of isospin symmetry breaking is studied.
