We present the results from a reactivity study of the binary anion (TlBi3)2? towards Group 12 metal compounds MPh2 (M=Zn, Cd, Hg) to gain access to coordination compounds of polycyclic polypnictide molecules such as Bi73? or Bi113?. The coordination chemistry of these polybismuthide cages has been unprecedented to date, while it has been known for a long time for the lighter Group 15 anions Pn73? (Pn=P, As, Sb). The use of (TlBi3)2?, previously shown to release Tl under certain conditions in situ, resulted in the formation of the first heterometallic polyanion in which a nortricyclane‐type polybismuthide coordinates a transition‐metal atom, [(Bi7)Cd(Bi7)]4?. Reactions with the lighter Group 12 metal precursor yielded the uncommon ternary cluster [(Bi6)Zn3(TlBi5)]4?, most likely representing a reaction intermediate, and at the same time hinting at the formation of the nortricyclane‐shaped cage. Quantum‐chemical studies provide deeper insight into the stability trends of the [(E7)M(E7)]4? anion family and reveal a complex bonding situation in [(Bi6)Zn3(TlBi5)]4?, which features both localized and multi‐center bonding. 相似文献

The transfer hydrogenation of N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC)‐supported diborenes with dimethylamine borane proceeds with high selectivity for the trans‐1,2‐dihydrodiboranes. Reaction of a tethered triamine ligand with Bi(NMe2)3 gives a Bi triamide, for which a BiI electronic structure is shown to be most appropriate. The T‐shaped geometry at bismuth provides the first structural model for edge inversion in bismuthines and the only example of a planar geometry for pnictogen triamides. Analogous phosphorus compounds exhibit a distorted pyramidal geometry because of different Bi?N and P?N bond polarities. Although considerable BiI character is indicated for the title Bi triamide, it exhibits reactivity similar to BiIII electrophiles, and expresses either a vacant or a filled p orbital at Bi, as evidenced by coordination of either pyridine N‐oxide or W(CO)5. The product of the former shows evidence of coordination‐induced oxidation state change at bismuth. 相似文献

Solution impregnations, pulltrusion and film stacking are widely used methods to prepare thermoplastic composite materials. Extruders are used to melt the polymer and to incorporate fibers into the polymer in order to modify physical properties. In this article, the compounding of colloidal silica nanoparticles filled polyamide‐6 (PA‐6) is achieved using a twin‐screw extruder, which has a significant market share due to its low cost and easy maintenance. The experiments were performed at 250 rpm and the bulk throughput was 6 kg h?1 with a pump pressure of 30 bars. The composites were characterized with nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), wide angle X‐ray diffraction (WAXD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). As determined by WAXD, the PA‐6 showed higher amounts of γ‐phase when compared to other synthesis methods such as in situ polymerization. TEM pictures showed that the silica particles aggregated nevertheless, upon addition of 14% (w/w) silica the E‐modulus increased from 2.7 to 3.9 GPa indicating that an effective mechanical coupling with the polymer was achieved. The behavior, illustrated with dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) curves, indicated that in general when a filled system is compared to unfilled material, the values of the moduli (E′ and E″) increased and tan δ decreased. Determination of molecular mass distribution of the samples by means of size exclusion chromatography (SEC) coupled to a refractive index (RI), viscosity (DV) and light scattering (LS) detector revealed that the addition of silica did not decrease the average molecular weight of the polymer matrix, which is of importance for composite applications. Synthesis and Properties of the Layered Perovskite Phase Sr3Mo1.5Zn0.5O7‐δ The new layered perovskite phase Sr3Mo1.5Zn0.5O7‐δ was synthesized by solid state reaction using a Zn/ZnO oxygen buffer. The crystal structure was refined from X‐ray powder pattern by the Rietveld method. The compound crystallizes tetragonal in the space group I4/mmm (no. 139) with the lattice parameters a = 3.9631(3) Å, c = 20.583(1) Å. An oxygen deficiency corresponding to δ ≈ 0.25 was determinated, indicating the presence of molybdenum in mixed valence (Mo4+ and Mo6+). 相似文献

The title compound, bis[diaquabis(ethylenediamine‐κ2N,N′)copper(II)] hexacyanoiron(II) tetrahydrate, [Cu(C2H8N2)2(H2O)1.935]2[Fe(CN)6]·4H2O, was crystallized from an aqueous reaction mixture initially containing CuSO4, K3[Fe(CN)6] and ethylenediamine (en) in a 3:2:6 molar ratio. Its structure is ionic and is built up of two crystallographically different cations, viz. [Cu(en)2(H2O)2]2+ and [Cu(en)2(H2O)1.87]2+, there being a deficiency of aqua ligands in the latter, [Fe(CN)6]4− anions and disordered solvent water molecules. All the metal atoms lie on centres of inversion. The Cu atom is octahedrally coordinated by two chelate‐bonded en molecules [mean Cu—N = 2.016 (2) Å] in the equatorial plane, and by axial aqua ligands, showing very long distances due to the Jahn–Teller effect [mean Cu—O = 2.611 (2) Å]. In one of the cations, significant underoccupation of the O‐atom site is observed, correlated with the appearance of a non‐coordinated water molecule. This is interpreted as the partial contribution of a hydrate isomer. The [Fe(CN)6]4− anions form quite regular octahedra, with a mean Fe—C distance of 1.913 (2) Å. The dominant intermolecular interactions are cation–anion O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds and these interactions form layers parallel to (001). 相似文献

The factors affecting host-guest complexation between the molecular container compound cucurbit[6]uril (CB6) and various guests in aqueous solution are studied, and a detailed complexation mechanism in the presence of cations is derived. The formation of the supramolecular complex is studied in detail for cyclohexylmethylammonium ion as guest. The kinetics and thermodynamics of complexation is monitored by NMR as a function of temperature, salt concentration, and cation size. The binding constants and the ingression rate constants decrease with increasing salt concentration and cation-binding constant, in agreement with a competitive binding of the ammonium site of the guest and the metal cation with the ureido carbonyl portals of CB6. Studies as a function of guest size indicate that the effective container volume of the CB6 cavity is approximately 105 A(3). It is suggested that larger guests are excluded for two reasons: a high activation barrier for ingression imposed by the tight CB6 portals and a destabilization of the complex due to steric repulsion inside. For example, in the case of the nearly spherical azoalkane homologues 2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene (DBH, volume ca. 96 A(3)) and 2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-2-ene (DBO, volume ca. 110 A(3)), the former forms the CB6 complex promptly with a sizable binding constant (1300 M(-1)), while the latter does not form a complex even after several months at optimized complexation conditions. Molecular mechanics calculations are performed for several CB6/guest complexes. A qualitative agreement is found between experimental and calculated activation energies for ingression as a function of both guest size and state of protonation. The potential role of constrictive binding by CB6 is discussed. 相似文献
