To prevent a sheet specimen from buckling subjected to a tension-compression cyclic loading, a new fixture has been developed to use with a regular tensile-compression machine. The novelty of this device lies in 4-block wedge design with pre-loaded springs. This design allows blocks to freely move in the vertical direction while providing the normal support to the entire length of the specimen during the tension-compression cycle. The entire test is easy to setup, which is another advantage of this design. In order to measure the strain accurately, the transmission type laser extensometer was utilized together with the implementation of double-side fins in the specimen. Experimental results of tension-compression tests are presented followed by a review of existing testing methods. In order to describe the accurate cyclic tension-compression behavior, the combined isotropic-kinematic hardening law based on the modified Chaboche model and the practical two-surface model based on Dafalias-Popov and Krieg models have been modified in this work, considering the permanent softening behavior during reverse loading and the non-symmetric behavior during reloading. Through tension-compression tests, the material characterization has been performed for three base materials, BH180, DP600 steels and AA6111-T4 sheets.  相似文献

Theoretical and experimental studies of the electromagnetic response of semicontinuous metal films are presented. A scaling theory is developed by solving the surface plasmon eigenproblem. The short-range correlations in the governing Kirchhoff Hamiltonian result in delocalization of the surface plasmon eigenmodes. Although their relative weight in the spectrum becomes asymptotically small for large systems, the existence of these delocalized states modifies the critical indices for the high-order field moments. This modification is confirmed experimentally by the near-field measurement of high-order intensity moments for percolating silver films on glass substrates. More and more nanomaterials enter the environment along with their production, application and deposal. They may alter the biological effect of pollutants already existing in the real environment by different interactions. Therefore efforts should also be paid to investigate the combined toxicity of nanomaterials and pollutants. Herein, we studied the combined toxicity of oxidized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (O-MWCNTs) and zinc ions on cells. It is found that cytotoxicity of the combined O-MWCNTs and zinc ions elevates significantly, compared with O-MWCNTs or zinc ions alone. This result comes from the assays of cell morphology, cell viability and proliferation, cell membrane integrity, mitochondrial membrane potential and cell apoptosis. Mechanism studies indicate that O-MWCNTs absorb zinc ions and form slight aggregation. These enhance remarkably the cellular uptake of O-MWCNTs, and thus induce the death of cells by bringing in more zinc ions into cells. Our study indicates that the existence of nanomaterials could change the bioconsequence of other pollutants and emphasizes the importance of the combined toxicity research in the presence of nanomaterials.  相似文献

Two novel copper(I) complexes with Cu‐O bonds, [Cu2L2(PPh3)2](BF4)2 ( 1 ) and [Cu(L)(dppeo)](BF4) ( 2 ) ( L = 6‐(4‐diethylmethylphosphonatephenyl)‐2,2′‐bipyridine, dppeo = bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane monoxide), have been prepared and their structures characterized. In the binuclear complex 1 , the ligand L serves as tridentate donor with the N, N′ and O as coordination atoms, and the two CuI atoms are bridged through both P = O donor atoms in different ligand L with a triphenylphosphine molecule as auxiliary ligand. While in mononuclear complex 2 , both ligands L and dppeo behave as bidentate with NN from L and PO from dppeo chelating to CuI atom.  相似文献
