VO2 thin films are grown on glass substrates by pulsed laser deposition using vanadium metal as a target. In this study, a ZnO thin film was used as a buffer layer for the growth of VO2 thin films on glass substrates. X-ray diffraction studies showed that the VO2 thin film had b-axis preferential orientation on a c-axis oriented ZnO buffer layer. The thickness of the ZnO buffer layer and the oxygen pressure during VO2 deposition were optimized to grow highly b-axis oriented VO2 thin films. The metal-insulator transition properties of the VO2 film samples were investigated in terms of infrared reflectance and electrical resistance with varying temperatures.  相似文献

Deuteron-gold (d+Au) collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider provide ideal platforms for testing QCD theories in dense nuclear matter at high energy. In particular, models suggesting strong saturation effects for partons carrying small nucleon momentum fraction (x) predict modifications to jet production at forward rapidity (deuteron-going direction) in d+Au collisions. We report on two-particle azimuthal angle correlations between charged hadrons at forward/backward (deuteron/gold going direction) rapidity and charged hadrons at midrapidity in d+Au and p+p collisions at square root of sNN=200 GeV. Jet structures observed in the correlations are quantified in terms of the conditional yield and angular width of away-side partners. The kinematic region studied here samples partons in the gold nucleus with x~0.1 to ~0.01. Within this range, we find no x dependence of the jet structure in d+Au collisions.  相似文献

Deteriorating jobs scheduling problems have been extensively studied in recent years. However, it is assumed that there is a common goal to minimize for all jobs in most of the research. In many management situations, multiple agents compete on the usage of a common processing resource. In this paper, we considered a single-machine scheduling problem with a linear deterioration assumption where the objective is to minimize the total weighted completion time of jobs from the first agent with the restriction that no tardy job is allowed for the second agent. We proposed a branch-and-bound algorithm and three heuristic algorithms to search for the optimal solution and near-optimal solutions, respectively. A computational experiment was conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithms.  相似文献

The method of atomistic molecular dynamics simulations is used to investigate the static properties of the organic–inorganic interface in a polymer nanocomposite consisting of polyimide and silica nanoparticles with modified surface. Alkylsilane chains are used as the surface modifiers. The surface density and chains length of the modifier are the main parameters of the simulations. For simplicity, the model of the composite has been constructed as a polymer layer sandwiched between two solid surfaces. Our results show that one can change the properties of the interface between the polymer matrix and the inorganic filler by choosing the molecular weight and surface density of the modifier.

PurposeTo investigate parotid perfusion in early-to-intermediate stage after parotid-sparing radiation dose using fat-saturated DCE-MRI, and to verify whether the perfusion alteration was related to radiation dose and the PSV.Methods and MaterialsThirty-two parotid glands from 16 consecutive patients with pathologically proven nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated by IMRT were examined. The parotid glands received a radiation dose of 28.9 ± 3.9 Gy with a PSV of 43.1% ± 13.9%. Perfusion parameters were calculated using time-shifted Brix model from fat-saturated DCE-MRI data before (pre-RT) and in early-to-intermediate stage after (post-RT) IMRT. Paired t-test was used to evaluate perfusion changes, while Pearson's correlation test was used to examine perfusion dependency on radiation dose and PSV. For multiple comparisons Bonferroni correction was applied.ResultsSuccessful fat saturation was achieved in 29 of 32 parotid glands. Compared with pre-RT, the post-RT parotid glands showed significantly higher A, peak enhancement, and wash-in slope, plus a lower Kel, suggesting a mixed effect of increased vascular permeability and acinar loss. Linear regression showed that peak enhancement was positively associated with radiation dose in post-RT parotid glands. Kel and slope were negatively associated with PSV, while time-to-peak was positively associated with PSV significantly.ConclusionsOur results suggest that time-shifted Brix model is feasible for quantifying parotid perfusion using DCE-MRI. The perfusion alterations in early-to-intermediate stage after IMRT might be related to a mixed effect of increased vascular permeability and acinar loss with dose and PSV dependencies.  相似文献

Abstract

Dislocations in shock loaded tantalum single crystals were imaged using both transmission electron microscope (TEM) and electron channelling contrast image (ECCI) in a scanning electron microscope with a conventional backscattered electron detector. The results were compared with backscattered electron intensity profiles across dislocations calculated via the dynamic theory of electron diffraction. A one-to-one correspondence between ECCI and TEM is established. High voltage and low index reflections should be used to obtain the highest dislocation contrast and greatest imaging depth.  相似文献

Semipolar (11\bar 2 \bar 2) ZnO was successfully grown on (112) LaAlO3/(LaAlO3)0.29(Sr2AlTaO6)0.35 substrate by pulsed laser deposition. The epitaxial relationship is [11\bar 23]_{\rm ZnO} // [11\bar 1]_{\rm LAO/LSAT} with the polar axis of [000\bar 1]_{\rm ZnO} pointing to the surface. For ZnO films with thickness of 1.6 μm, the threading dislocation density is ~1 × 109 cm–2, and the density of basal stacking faults is below 1 × 104 cm–1. The (11\bar 2 \bar 2) ZnO exhibits strong D0X emissions with a FWHM of 9 meV and very few green–yellow emissions in the low‐temperature (10 K) and room‐temperature photoluminescence spectra, respectively.

The structurally precise Cu‐rich hydride nanoclusters [PdCu14H2(dtc/dtp)6(C≡CPh)6] (dtc: di‐butyldithiocarbamate ( 1 ); dtp: di‐isopropyl dithiophosphate ( 2 )) were synthesized from the reaction of polyhydrido copper clusters [Cu28H15(S2CNnBu2)12]+ or [Cu20H11{S2P(OiPr)2}9] with phenyl acetylene in the presence of Pd(PPh3)2Cl2. Their structures and compositions were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and the results supported by ESI‐mass spectrometry. Hydride positions in 1 were confirmed by single‐crystal neutron diffraction. Each hydride is connected to one Pd0 and four CuI atoms in slightly distorted trigonalbipyramidal geometry. The anatomies of clusters 1 and 2 are very similar and DFT calculations allow rationalizing the interactions between the encapsulated [PdH2]2? unit and its Cu14 bicapped icosahedral cage. As a result, Pd has the highest coordination number (14) so far recorded.  相似文献

Deterministic methods for tuning polymer dispersity are rare, especially for nonradical polymerizations. Reported here is the first example of photomodulating dispersity in controlled cationic polymerizations of vinyl ethers using carboxy‐functionalized dithienylethene initiators. Reversible photoisomerization of these initiators induces changes in their acidities by up to an order of magnitude. Using the more acidic, ring‐closed isomers as initiators results in polymers with lower dispersities. The degree of light‐induced pKa change in the initiators correlates with the degree of dispersity change in polymers derived from the isomeric initiators. The polymerizations are controlled, and dynamic photoswitching of dispersity during the polymerization reaction was demonstrated. This work provides a framework for photomodulating dispersity in other controlled polymerizations and developing one‐pot block copolymerization reactions in which the dispersities of component blocks can be controlled using light.  相似文献

It is essential when searching for an efficient acoustical mechanism to have an optimally shaped muffler designed specially for the constrained space found in today's plants. Because the research work of optimally shaped straight silencers in conjunction with multi-chamber cross-flow perforated ducts is rarely addressed, this paper will not only analyze the sound transmission loss (STL) of three kinds of cross-flow perforated mufflers but also will analyze the optimal design shape within a limited space.In this paper, the four-pole system matrix used in evaluating acoustic performance is derived by using the decoupled numerical method. Moreover, a simulated annealing (SA) algorithm, a robust scheme in searching for the global optimum by imitating the softening process of metal, has been adopted during shape optimization. To reassure SA's correctness, the STL's maximization of three kinds of muffles with respect to one-tone and dual-tone noise is exemplified. Furthermore, the optimization of mufflers with respect to an octave-band fan noise by the simulated algorithm has been introduced and fully discussed. Before the SA operation can be carried out, an accuracy check of the mathematical model with respect to cross-flow perforated mufflers has to be performed by Munjal's analytical data and experimental data.The optimal result in eliminating broadband noise reveals that the cross-flow perforated muffler with more chambers is far superior at noise reduction than a muffler with fewer chambers. Consequently, the approach used for the optimal design of noise elimination proposed in this study is certainly easy and efficient.  相似文献
