The directional drifting of particles/molecules with broken symmetry has received increasing attention. Through molecular dynamics simulations, we investigate the effects of various solvents on the time-dependent directional drifting of a particle with broken symmetry. Our simulations show that the distance of directional drift of the asymmetrical particle is reduced while the ratio of the drift to the mean displacement of the particle is enhanced with increasing mass, size, and interaction strength of the solvent atoms in a short time range. Among the parameters considered, solvent atom size is a particularly influential factor for enhancing the directional drift of asymmetrical particles, while the effects of the interaction strength and the mass of the solvent atoms are relatively weaker. These findings are of great importance to the understanding and control of the Brownian motion of particles in various physical, chemical, and biological processes within finite time spans.  相似文献

The poor electronic conductivity and low lithium-ion diffusion are the two major obstacles to the largely commercial application of LiFePO4 cathode material in power batteries. In order to improve the defects of LiFePO4, a novel carbon source polyacrylonitrile (PAN), which would form the hierarchical porous structure after carbonization, is fabricated and used. This work comes up with a simple and facile carbothermal reduction method to prepare porous-carbon-coated LiFePO4 (C-LiFePO4-PC) composite and to study the effect of carbon-coated temperature on ameliorating the electrochemical performance. The obtained C-LiFePO4-PC composite shows a high initial discharge capacity of 164.1 mA h g?1 at 0.1 C and good cycling stability as well as excellent rate capacity (49.0 mA h g?1 at 50 C). The most possible factors that improve the electrochemical performance could be related to the enhancement of electronic conductivity and the existence of porous carbon layers. In a word, the C-LiFePO4-PC material would become an excellent candidate for application in the fields of lithium-ion batteries.  相似文献

Masking period patterns (MPPs) were measured in listeners with normal and impaired hearing using amplitude-modulated tonal maskers and short tonal probes. The frequency of the masker was either the same as the frequency of the probe (on-frequency masking) or was one octave below the frequency of the probe (off-frequency masking). In experiment 1, MPPs were measured for listeners with normal hearing using different masker levels. Carrier frequencies of 3 and 6 kHz were used for the masker. The probe had a frequency of 6 kHz. For all masker levels, the off-frequency MPPs exhibited deeper and longer valleys compared with the on-frequency MPPs. Hearing-impaired listeners were tested in experiment 2. For some hearing-impaired subjects, masker frequencies of 1.5 kHz and 3 kHz were paired with a probe frequency of 3 kHz. MPPs measured for listeners with hearing loss had similar shapes for on- and off-frequency maskers. It was hypothesized that the shapes of MPPs reflect nonlinear processing at the level of the basilar membrane in normal hearing and more linear processing in impaired hearing. A model assuming different cochlear gains for normal versus impaired hearing and similar parameters of the temporal integrator for both groups of listeners successfully predicted the MPPs.  相似文献

在较宽液膜雷诺数和进口温度范围内对垂直加热管外自由降膜流破断特性进行了实验研究。应用热物理学相似分析的方法整理实验数据,给出新的破断准则数综合关系式,并与1993年发表的另一些作者的结果作了比较。实验参数的变化范围如下:tin=20~90℃,最大液膜雷诺数Re为1.21×104,最大热流密度达1.39×105w/m2。  相似文献

本文分析了椭偏光法测量各向异性晶体时入射角和起偏角对测量灵敏度的影响, 着重付论了如何选择合适的实验条件以测量低度各向异性(︱n。-n_e︱< 0.1) 晶体的光学性质. 利用单波长椭偏仪和多波长椭偏谱仪测量了方解石和KNSBN 铁电体样品, 得到各向异性折射率和消光系数值, 与文献有关结果作了比较. 对于︱n。-n_e︱< 0.1 的KNSBN 铁电晶体, 获得了可靠的结果. 关键词:  相似文献

Stochastic resonance (SR), a noise-assisted tool, has been proved to be very powerful in weak signal detection. The multiscale noise tuning SR (MSTSR), which breaks the restriction of the requirement of small parameters and white noise in classical SR, has been applied to identify the characteristic frequency of a bearing. However, the multiscale noise tuning (MST), which is originally based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT), limits the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) improvement of SR and the performance in identifying multiple bearing faults. In this paper, the wavelet packet transform (WPT) is developed and incorporated into the MSTSR method to overcome its shortcomings and to further enhance its capability in multiple faults detection of bearings. The WPT-based MST can achieve a finer tuning of multiscale noise and aims at detecting multiple target frequencies separately. By introducing WPT into the MST of SR, this paper proposes an improved SR method particularly suited for the identification of multiple transient faults in rolling element bearings. Simulated and practical bearing signals carrying multiple characteristic frequencies are employed to validate the performance improvement of the proposed method as compared to the original DWT-based MSTSR method. The results confirm the good capability of the proposed method in multi-fault diagnosis of rolling element bearings.  相似文献

We grew heterojunction light emitting diode (LED) structures with various n-type semiconducting layers by magnetron sputtering on p-type GaN at high temperature. Because the undoped ZnO used as an active layer was grown under oxygen rich atmosphere, all LED devices showed the EL characteristics corresponding to orange-red wavelength due to high density of oxygen interstitial, which was coincident with the deep level photoluminescence emission of undoped ZnO. The use of the Ga doped layers as a top layer provided the sufficient electron carriers to active region and resulted in the intense EL emission. The LED sample with small quantity of Mg incorporated in MgZnO as an n-type top layer showed more intense emission than the LED with ZnO, in spite of the deteriorated electrical and structural properties of the MgZnO film. This might be due to the improvement of output extraction efficiency induced by rough surface.  相似文献

High-power fiber-to-fiber coupling is extensively used in fiber laser applications,and its performance is determined by coupling efficiency.We demonstrate a novel method for alignment and monitoring efficiency by detecting backscattering power at the fiber end cap.The relationship between alignment error and backscattering power is determined by simulations and experiments.Through this method,a state-of-the-art kW-level fiberto-fiber optic switch is developed(transmission efficiency>97%).It performs well for longer than 60 min.To the best of our knowledge,it is the first time to establish the mathematical model based on this method.Our results can provide guidance in high-power fiber-to-fiber coupling.  相似文献

In this paper, shift operator finite-difference time-domain (SO-FDTD) method is applied for the calculation of the dispersive medium. The high efficiency and accuracy of this method is verified by calculating the reflection of the plane electromagnetic wave impinging on a non-magnetized plasma slab with different electron density distributions. The results show that the average electron density only determines overall trends of the reflection, and different distributions affect the oscillating process of the reflection. If the average electron density maintains the same, the distribution of electron density with homogenous or inhomogeneous alternation will sharply take effects on the reflection. And magnitude of alternation of electron density affects the incident frequency directly when the reflection tends to uniform.  相似文献

We present experimental measurements of the electronic contribution to the Raman spectra of individual metallic single-walled carbon nanotubes (MSWNTs). Photoexcited carriers are inelastically scattered by a continuum of low-energy electron-hole pairs created across the graphenelike linear electronic subbands of the MSWNTs. The optical resonances in MSWNTs give rise to well-defined electronic Raman peaks. This resonant electronic Raman scattering is a unique feature of the electronic structure of these one-dimensional quasimetals.  相似文献
