Chemical Constituents from Cynoglossum gansuense

Two new alkaloids, i.e., (2,3‐dihydro‐1‐oxo‐1H‐pyrrolo[1,2‐a]pyrrol‐7‐yl)methyl (2S*,3S*)‐3‐[(β‐D ‐glucopyranosyl)oxy]‐2‐hydroxy‐2‐(1‐methylethyl)butanoate ( 1 ) and 1,2‐dihydro‐8‐methoxy‐2‐oxoquinoline‐4‐carboxylic acid ( 2 ), were isolated from the alcoholic extract of the whole plant of Cynoglossum gansuense, together with twelve known compounds Their structures were characterized by means of spectroscopic methods, especially by ¹H‐, ¹³C‐, and 2D‐NMR, as well as by HR‐MS experiments and comparison with literature data.

Ammonia-treated activated carbon as support of Ru-Ba catalyst for ammonia synthesis

Ammonia-treated activated carbon has been studied as a support of Ru-Ba catalyst for ammonia synthesis. It is shown that the introduction of nitrogen leads to a decrease of ammonia synthesis activity for the catalysts with a low Ba/Ru molar ratio, while no significant changes are obtained for the catalysts with a high Ba/Ru molar ratio, confirming that electronegative impurities suppress the activity in ammonia synthesis and consume part of the promoters. Solid complex of terbium nitrate with a novel tetrapodal ligand, 1,1,1′,1′-tetra(2-pyridinecarboxylester)-di(trimethylpropane) was prepared. This new complex with the formula of [TbL(NO₃)](NO₃)₂·2H₂O was charact-erized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, IR spectroscopy and thermal analysis. At the same time, the luminescent property of the complex was also studied.     

Baker''''s yeast mediated reduction of substituted acenaphthenequinones: Regio-and enantioselective preparation of mono-hydroxyacenaphthenones

Baker's yeast mediated reduction of acenaphthenequinone within 4-10 h afforded mono-hydroxyacenaphthenone mainly with low enantioselectivity, the substrate and mono-hydroxyacenaphthenone product almost converted to dihydroxyacenaphthene after 48 h. By control of the reaction time and in the presence of DMF as co-solvent, the reduction of 6-substituted acenaphthenequinones under vigorous agitation afforded the corresponding 2-hydroxyacenaphthenones in 24-84% yields with 10-93% ee.     

Multiplex amplified product-length polymorphism analysis of 36 mitochondrial single-nucleotide polymorphisms for haplogrouping of East Asian populations

We present a reliable, rapid, and economical multiplex amplified product-length polymorphism (APLP) method for analyzing the haplogroup-diagnostic mitochondrial single-nucleotide polymorphisms (mtSNPs) in East Asian populations. By examining only 36 haplogroup-specific mtSNPs in the coding region by using four 9-multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and subsequent electrophoresis, we could safely assign 1815 individuals from 8 populations of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Germans to 45 relevant haplogroups. This multiplex APLP analysis of coding-region mtSNPs for haplogrouping is especially useful not only for molecular phylogenetic studies but also for large-scale association studies due to its rapid and economical nature. This is the first panel of mtSNPs in the coding region to be used for haplogrouping of East Asian populations.

D,L-1,2,2-三甲基环戊烷-1,3-二胺硝酸镍配合物的合成、结构及其和手性D-(+)-1,2,2-三甲基环戊烷-1,3-二胺氯化镍配合物的对比分析(英)

A nickel(Ⅱ) complex [Ni(La)₂](NO₃)₂ (1) with bidentate racemic 1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentane-1,3-diamine ligand has been synthesized and characterized by IR, EA, ES-MS, and its X-ray diffraction study reveals that the nickel(Ⅱ) center is tetra-coordinated by one D- and one L- diamine ligands, and a three-dimensional hydrogen-bond-sustained network is formed in the solid state by means of the eight-membered N-H…O hydrogen bond cycle. This compound also supplies a good comparison to the chiral complex [Ni(L_b)₂]Cl₂·2H₂O (2) (L_b=D-(+)-1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentane-1,3-diamine). CCDC: 218122.
