We report the extraordinary performance of carbon‐coated sodium super ion conductor (NASICON)‐type LiTi2(PO4)3 as an ideal host matrix for reversible insertion of both Li and Na ions. The NASICON‐type compound was prepared by means of a Pechini‐type polymerizable complex method and was subsequently carbon coated. Several characterization techniques such as XRD, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), field‐emission (FE) SEM, TEM, and Raman analysis were used to study the physicochemical properties. Both guest species underwent a two‐phase insertion mechanism during the charge/discharge process that was clearly evidenced from galvanostatic and cyclic voltammetric studies. Unlike that of Li (≈1.5 moles of Li), Na insertion exhibits better reversibility (≈1.59 moles of Na) while experiencing a slightly higher capacity fade (≈8 % higher than Li) and polarization (780 mV) than Li. However, excellent rate capability profiles were noted for Na insertion relative to its counterpart Li. Overall, the Na insertion properties were found to be superior relative to Li insertion, which makes carbon‐coated NASICON‐type LiTi2(PO4)3 hosts attractive for the development of next‐generation batteries.  相似文献

Differential measurements of elliptic flow (v2) for Au+Au and Cu+Cu collisions at sqrt[sNN]=200 GeV are used to test and validate predictions from perfect fluid hydrodynamics for scaling of v2 with eccentricity, system size, and transverse kinetic energy (KE T). For KE T identical with mT-m up to approximately 1 GeV the scaling is compatible with hydrodynamic expansion of a thermalized fluid. For large values of KE T mesons and baryons scale separately. Quark number scaling reveals a universal scaling of v2 for both mesons and baryons over the full KE T range for Au+Au. For Au+Au and Cu+Cu the scaling is more pronounced in terms of KE T, rather than transverse momentum.  相似文献

Atomic resolution images of layered transition metal-dichalcogenide ReS2 single-crystals (n-type semiconductor) were obtained using a scanning tunneling microscope with a positive tip. In most cases only unresolved clusters of four rhenium atoms could be seen. Occasional images with higher resolution showed that these bright structures consist of four separated atoms. The symmetry of the imaged atoms is identical to that of the rhenium sublattice but not to that of the sulfur atoms. We conclude therefore that the main contribution to the tunneling current is due to the rhenium atoms, although the sulfur atoms are placed by about 0.15 nm closer to the tip. Thus for our positive bias of the tip the tunneling electrons originate from occupied rhenium states in the valence band of the semiconductor.  相似文献

The Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes of the new 1,8-diferro-cenylmethyl-4,11-dimethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetra-decane ligand (denoted L) have been isolated and characterized by X-ray structure determination and electrochemical studies. The Cu(I) complex presents an unprecedented stability toward dioxygen. The two complexes adopt two energetically distinct and stable geometries, which differ mainly by the relative positioning of the substituents above or below the cyclam plane. Triggered by a copper-centered electron transfer, a fast and reversible motion of the noncoordinating subunits is obtained in homogeneous solution and in the solid state.  相似文献

Event-by-event fluctuations of the average transverse momentum of produced particles near midrapidity have been measured by the PHENIX Collaboration in square root of (sNN)=200 GeV Au+Au, and p+p collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The fluctuations are observed to be in excess of the expectation for statistically independent particle emission for all centralities. The excess fluctuations exhibit a dependence on both the centrality of the collision and on the pT range over which the average is calculated. Both the centrality and pT dependence can be well reproduced by a simulation of random particle production with the addition of contributions from hard-scattering processes.  相似文献

This paper presents the theory describing the dynamical behavior of a noncontacting lateral transportation of planer objects by means of a gas squeeze film created by traveling flexural waves of a driving surface. An oscillating motion in the normal direction between two surfaces can generate a gas film with an average pressure higher than the surrounding. This load-carrying phenomenon arises from the fact that a viscous flow cannot be instantaneously squeezed; therefore, fast vibrations give rise to a cushioning effect. Equilibrium is established through a balance between viscous flow forces and compressibility forces. When the oscillatory motion between two surfaces creates traveling waves, lateral viscous forces are generated in addition to the normal levitation forces. These forces are produced as a result of nonuniform pressure gradients in the lateral direction between the surfaces. The combination of normal and lateral forces could be used for transporting objects without any direct contact with the driving surface. The numerical algorithm in this work couples the squeeze film phenomenon, which is represented by means of finite difference equations, to model a variant of the Reynolds equation, together with the equations describing the dynamics of the floating object. Numerical simulations are presented and investigated to highlight noteworthy topics.  相似文献

The anisotropy parameter (v(2)), the second harmonic of the azimuthal particle distribution, has been measured with the PHENIX detector in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s(NN)]=200 GeV for identified and inclusive charged particle production at central rapidities (|eta|<0.35) with respect to the reaction plane defined at high rapidities (|eta|=3-4 ). We observe that the v(2) of mesons falls below that of (anti)baryons for p(T)>2 GeV/c, in marked contrast to the predictions of a hydrodynamical model.
