无创性血糖检测仍是糖尿病患者护理安全舒适的现实科学任务。本文研究了血糖光学特性与血糖浓度之间的相关性。用时域THz光谱研究了全血在0.3~0.5 THz频率范围内的透射谱。在注射胰岛素后的短时间内,由同一糖尿病患者产生了生物样品。得到了血液光学特性的频散特性。基于频散,给出了血糖浓度与折射率和介电常数的关系式。这项工作是复杂研究的一部分,重点是无创葡萄糖测量技术的发展。记录血糖水平与血液光学参数之间的依赖关系,使得将来可以使用反射光谱技术进行无创血糖水平检测。 相似文献

Vanadate is a potent modulator of a number of biological processes and has been shown by crystal structures and NMR spectroscopy to interact with numerous enzymes. Although these effects often occur under conditions where oligomeric forms dominate, the crystal structures and NMR data suggest that the inhibitory form is usually monomeric orthovanadate, a particularly good inhibitor of phosphatases because of its ability to form stable trigonal-bipyramidal complexes. We performed a computational analysis of a 1.14 ? structure of the phosphatase VHZ in complex with an unusual metavanadate species and compared it with two classical trigonal-bipyramidal vanadate-phosphatase complexes. The results support extensive delocalized bonding to the apical ligands in the classical structures. In contrast, in the VHZ metavanadate complex, the central, planar VO(3)(-) moiety has only one apical ligand, the nucleophilic Cys95, and a gap in electron density between V and S. A computational analysis showed that the V-S interaction is primarily ionic. A mechanism is proposed to explain the formation of metavanadate in the active site from a dimeric vanadate species that previous crystallographic evidence has shown to be able to bind to the active sites of phosphatases related to VHZ. Together, the results show that the interaction of vanadate with biological systems is not solely reliant upon the prior formation of a particular inhibitory form in solution. The catalytic properties of an enzyme may act upon the oligomeric forms primarily present in solution to generate species such as the metavanadate ion observed in the VHZ structure. 相似文献

We report muon spin rotation spectra in the narrow-gap semiconductors FeGa(3) and FeSb(2) consistent with a narrow band of small spin polarons (SPs). The characteristic sizes obtained for these SPs are R(FeGa(3)) ≈ 0.3-0.6 nm and R(FeSb (2)) ≈ 0.3 nm, respectively. Such SP states are expected to originate from the exchange correlations between localized and itinerant electrons. Our data suggest that SP bands are formed at low temperature, but are destroyed by thermal fluctuations above 10 K in FeGa(3) and above 7 K in FeSb(2). Formation of such SP band states can explain many of the low-temperature properties of these materials. 相似文献

The currently adopted notion of a tolerance in combinatorial optimization is defined referring to an arbitrarily chosen optimal solution, i.e., locally. In this paper we introduce global tolerances with respect to the set of all optimal solutions, and show that the assumption of nonembededdness of the set of feasible solutions in the provided relations between the extremal values of upper and lower global tolerances can be relaxed. The equality between globally and locally defined tolerances provides a new criterion for the multiplicity (uniqueness) of the set of optimal solutions to the problem under consideration. 相似文献

We suggest a novel possibility for electrically tunable terahertz near-field enhancement in flatland electronic materials supporting two-dimensional plasmons, including recently discovered graphene. We employ electric-field effect modulation of electron density in such materials and induce a periodic plasmonic lattice with a defect cavity. We demonstrate that the plasmons resonantly excited in such a periodic plasmonic lattice by an incident terahertz radiation can strongly pump the cavity plasmon modes leading to a deep subwavelength concentration of terahertz energy, beyond λ/1000, with giant electric-field enhancement factors up to 10(4), which is 2 orders of magnitude higher than achieved previously in metal-based terahertz field concentrators. 相似文献

We report a general synthetic approach to the preparation of highly functionalized amine and amino acid derivatives of [60]fullerene starting from readily available chlorofullerene C(60)Cl(6). This paper studies the queue-length process in a closed Jackson-type queueing network with the large number N of homogeneous customers by methods of the theory of martingales and by the up- and down-crossing method. The network considered
here consists of a central node (hub), being an infinite-server queueing system with exponentially distributed service times,
and k single-server satellite stations (nodes) with generally distributed service times with rates depending on the value N. The service mechanism of these k satellite stations is autonomous, i.e., every satellite server j serves the customers only at random instants that form a strictly stationary and ergodic sequence of random variables. Assuming
that the first k-1 satellite stations operate in light usage regime the paper considers the cases where the kth satellite station is a bottleneck node. The approach of the paper is based both on development of the method from the paper

The Baltic Sea algae species composition includes marine euryhaline, freshwater euryhaline, and true brackish water forms. This study aimed to isolate a lipid–pigment complex from microalgae of the Baltic Sea (Kaliningrad region) and investigate its antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Microalgae were sampled using a box-shaped bottom sampler. Sequencing was used for identification. Spectroscopy and chromatography with mass spectroscopy were used to study the properties of microalgae. Antibiotic activity was determined by the disc diffusion test. Lipids were extracted using the Folch method. Analysis of the results demonstrated the presence of antimicrobial activity of the lipid–pigment complex of microalgae against E. coli (the zone diameter was 17.0 ± 0.47 mm and 17.0 ± 0.21 mm in Chlorella vulgaris and Arthrospira platensis, respectively) and Bacillus pumilus (maximum inhibition diameter 16.0 ± 0.27 mm in C. vulgaris and 16.0 ± 0.22 mm in A. platensis). The cytotoxic and antioxidant activities of the lipid complexes of microalgae C. vulgaris and A. platensis were established and their physicochemical properties and fatty acid composition were studied. The results demonstrated that the lipid–pigment complex under experimental conditions was the most effective against P. pentosaceus among Gram-positive bacteria. Antimicrobial activity is directly related to the concentration of the lipid–pigment complex. The presence of antibacterial activity in microalgae lipid–pigment complexes opens the door to the development of alternative natural preparations for the prevention of microbial contamination of feed. Because of their biological activity, Baltic Sea microalgae can be used as an alternative to banned antibiotics in a variety of fields, including agriculture, medicine, cosmetology, and food preservation. 相似文献
