Owing to their high uptake capacity at low temperature and excellent reversibility kinetics, metal-organic frameworks have attracted considerable attention as potential solid-state hydrogen storage materials. In the last few years, researchers have also identified several strategies for increasing the affinity of these materials towards hydrogen, among which the binding of H(2) to unsaturated metal centers is one of the most promising. Herein, we review the synthetic approaches employed thus far for producing frameworks with exposed metal sites, and summarize the hydrogen uptake capacities and binding energies in these materials. In addition, results from experiments that were used to probe independently the metal-hydrogen interaction in selected materials will be discussed.  相似文献

In his 2008 book “From Hahn-Banach to Monotonicity”, S. Simons mentions that the proof of Lemma 41.3, which was presented in the previous edition of his book “Minimax and Monotonicity” in 1998, is incorrect, and one does not know if this lemma and its consequences are true. Abstract

This paper studies a system of two hemivariational inequalities modeling a dynamic thermoviscoelastic contact problem with general nonmonotone and multivalued subdifferential boundary conditions. Thermal effects are included in the Kelvin–Voigt thermoviscoelastic constitutive law and in the boundary conditions, and so in frictional heat generation, which takes place on the boundary and enters the condition for the temperature. The existence of a weak solution to the problem is established using a recent surjectivity result for differential inclusions associated with pseudomonotone operators.  相似文献

The dynamic scaling approach is an important tool for describing the time evolution of rough interfaces. It computes dynamic scaling parameters alpha and beta, which characterize surface and time correlations. Applications of dynamic scaling to random deposition and ballistic deposition are discussed. A model of random adsorption on fractal substrates is presented. Then the influence of surface diffusion on adsorption is analyzed. The dependence of alpha and beta on the substrate fractal dimension, together with the dependence of the fractal dimension of the gas-solid interface on adsorption coverage are computed.  相似文献
