A vacuum carbon-reduction technique for the determination of oxygen in brass and zinc has been studied. As a preliminary, zinc is removed from the samples, sealed in predegassed graphite capsules, in a silica furnace maintained at ca. 850°C under vacuum in a vacuum fusion instrument. The residual contents of the capsules are then analysed in sequence at 1450°C in the main furnace of the apparatus, to which they are transferred without breaking the vacuum. The procedure developed affords a detection limit of 0.5–1 ppm of oxygen for samples weighing ca. 1.5 g.  相似文献

We report a refined potential energy function for the ground electronic state of CS2 based on a least-squares fitting to several low-lying experimental vibrational frequencies. Energy levels up to 20,000 cm(-1) have been obtained on this empirical potential using the Lanczos algorithm and potential optimized discrete variable representation. Among them, 329 levels below 10,000 cm(-1) are assigned with approximate normal mode quantum numbers (n1, n(0)2, n3), based on expectation values of one-dimensional (1D) reference Hamiltonians. An effective Hamiltonian is extracted from these assigned levels. The agreement with experimental data, including those of several isotopically substituted species, is excellent. In addition, some Fermi and anharmonic resonances are analyzed. The nearest neighbor level spacing and delta3 distributions indicated that the vibrational spectrum of CS2 is largely regular in the energy range up to 20,000 cm(-1). Semiclassical phase space analysis, including bifurcation analysis of the spectroscopic Hamiltonian, is used to interpret subtle anomalies signaled by expectation values used in normal mode assignments. The meaning of Fermi resonance is clarified by contrasting the semiclassical analysis of CS2 and CO2.  相似文献

Polymers for aqueous film coating, such as hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), often require the inclusion of a plasticizer to reduce brittleness and increase flexibility and ductility. A vinyl pyrrolidone/vinyl acetate copolymer (S630) was investigated for its influence on HPMC film coating parameters, comparing the results with a commonly used plasticizer, polyethylene glycol and another copolymer, polyvinyl alcohol. The viscous properties of the solutions and the glass transition temperatures of the equivalent polymer films were evaluated. Its effect on the film properties, such as appearance, surface roughness, moisture permeation and mechanical properties, as well as its ability to promote better adhesion of the film coat to the core surface, was compared. S630 was able to reduce the viscosity of the polymer solution and glass transition temperature of HPMC, as well as, enhance the mechanical properties of the cast film. The moisture permeation was slightly reduced but not to the same extent as polyethylene glycol. A 10% concentration of S630 increased the adhesive strength and toughness of the HPMC film coat. In conclusion, S630 was effective as a film-former, substrate adhesive and plasticizer. It has the potential to be used to replace the more volatile plasticizers which have problems of loss or migration.  相似文献

Starting from the easily available, highly functionalized acetylenic ketories 4a–i (Scheme 1), novel 2,3,5-trisubstituted thiophenes 1a–i (Scheme 2) were synthesized in good yields using a tandem Michael-addition/intramolecular Knoevenagel-condensation strategy, featuring Cs2CO3/MgSO4 (1:2) as an efficient base to effect the cyclization. Subsequent simple one-step transformations yielded 2,3-disubstituted thiophene-5-carbaidehydes 7a–c , carboxylic-acid derivatives 8, 9 , and 11 , and alcohol 10 (Scheme 3). These molecules constitute interesting novel thiophene-containing building blocks, useful for the preparation of low-molecular-weight compound libraries by combinatorial and parallel-chemistry techniques.  相似文献

The two crystallographically non-equivalent Co atoms of the quasi-one-dimensional crystal structure of Ca3Co2O6 form chains with alternating, face-sharing polyhedra of Co2O6 trigonal prisms and Co1O6 octahedra. This compound forms a substitutional solid-solution phase with Sc, in which the Sc atoms enter the Co2 sublattice exclusively. The homogeneity range of Ca3Co2−vScvO6 (more specifically Ca3Co1Co21−vScvO6) extends up to v≈0.55. The crystal structure belongs to space group Rc with lattice parameters (in hexagonal setting): 9.0846(3)?a?9.1300(2) Å and 10.3885(4)?c?10.4677(4) Å. The magnetic moment decreases rapidly with increasing amount of the non-magnetic Sc solute in the lattice.  相似文献

Keratin 1 (KRT1) is overexpressed in squamous carcinomas and associated with aggressive pathologies in breast cancer. Herein we report the design and preparation of the first Trp-based red fluorogenic amino acid, which is synthetically accessible in a few steps and displays excellent photophysical properties, and its application in a minimally-disruptive labelling strategy to prepare a new fluorogenic cyclopeptide for imaging of KRT1+ cells in whole intact tumour tissues.

Trp(redBODIPY) is the first red-emitting Trp-based amino acid for the preparation of fluorogenic peptides with retention of target binding affinity.  相似文献

A series of soluble trinuclear copper(I) and silver(I) complexes containing bicapped diynyl ligands, [M(3)(micro-dppm)(3)(micro(3)-eta(1)-C triple bond CC triple bond CR)(2)]PF(6) (M = Cu, R = Ph, C(6)H(4)-CH(3)-p, C(6)H(4)-OCH(3)-p, (n)C(6)H(13), H; M = Ag, R = Ph, C(6)H(4)-OCH(3)-p), has been synthesized and their electronic, photophysical, and electrochemical properties studied. A series of luminescent dinuclear gold(I) complexes with different crown ether pendants, [Au(2)(PwedgeP)(S-B15C5)(2)] [S-B15C5 = 4'-mercaptobenzo-15-crown-5, P(wedge)P = bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)methane (dcpm) (1), bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm) (2)] and [Au(2)(P(wedge)P)(S-B18C6)(2)] [S-B18C6 = 4'-mercaptobenzo-18-crown-6, P(wedge)P = dcpm (3), dppm (4)], and their related crown-free complexes, [Au(2)(P(wedge)P)(SC(6)H(3)(OMe)(2)-3,4)(2)] [P(wedge)P = dcpm (5), dppm (6)], were synthesized. The low-energy emission of the mercaptocrown ether-containing gold(I) complexes are tentatively assigned as originated from states derived from a S --> Au ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT) transition. The crown ether-containing gold(I) complexes showed specific binding abilities toward various metal cations according to the ring size of the crown pendants. Spectroscopic evidence was provided for the metal-ion-induced switching on of the gold...gold interactions upon the binding of particular metal ions in a sandwich binding mode.  相似文献
