Correlation of density turbulence suppression and reduced plasma transport is observed in the internal transport barrier (ITB) region of JET tokamak discharges with optimized magnetic shear. The suppression occurs in two stages. First, low frequency turbulence and ion transport are reduced across the plasma core by a toroidal velocity shear generated by intense auxiliary heating. Then with the ITB formation, high frequency turbulence and electron transport are reduced locally within the steep pressure gradient region of the ITB.  相似文献

Electric power forecasting plays a substantial role in the administration and balance of current power systems. For this reason, accurate predictions of service demands are needed to develop better programming for the generation and distribution of power and to reduce the risk of vulnerabilities in the integration of an electric power system. For the purposes of the current study, a systematic literature review was applied to identify the type of model that has the highest propensity to show precision in the context of electric power forecasting. The state-of-the-art model in accurate electric power forecasting was determined from the results reported in 257 accuracy tests from five geographic regions. Two classes of forecasting models were compared: classical statistical or mathematical (MSC) and machine learning (ML) models. Furthermore, the use of hybrid models that have made significant contributions to electric power forecasting is identified, and a case of study is applied to demonstrate its good performance when compared with traditional models. Among our main findings, we conclude that forecasting errors are minimized by reducing the time horizon, that ML models that consider various sources of exogenous variability tend to have better forecast accuracy, and finally, that the accuracy of the forecasting models has significantly increased over the last five years.  相似文献

In this report, we investigate the influence of temperature on the two-photon absorption (2PA) spectrum of all-trans-β-carotene using the femtosecond white-light-continuum Z-scan technique. We observed that the 2PA cross-section decreases quadratically with the temperature. Such effect was modeled using a three-energy-level diagram within the sum-over-essential states approach, assuming temperature dependencies to the transition dipole moment and refractive index of the solvent. The results show that the transition dipole moments from ground to excited state and between the excited states, which governed the two-photon matrix element, have distinct behaviors with the temperature. The first one presents a quadratic dependence, while the second exhibits a linear dependence. Such effects were attributed mainly to the trans→cis thermal interconversion process, which decreases the effective conjugation length, contributing to diminishing the transition dipole moments and, consequently, the 2PA cross-section.  相似文献

We report on the fabrication and characterization of photonic band-gaps structures by nanoimprint lithography in a dye-doped polymer. Photonic band calculations show that photonic crystal slabs composed of a triangular array of polymer pillars could exhibit photonic band-gaps for the magnetic-like modes. The resulting structures show that the nanoimprint lithography process is well-suited to fabricate in a single-step process, these challenging photonic structures opening perspectives to realize integrated photonic band-gap circuits.  相似文献

Using Green’s hyperplane restriction theorem, we prove that the rank of a Hermitian form on the space of holomorphic polynomials is bounded by a constant depending only on the maximum rank of the form restricted to affine manifolds. As an application we prove a rigidity theorem for CR mappings between hyperquadrics in the spirit of the results of Baouendi–Huang and Baouendi–Ebenfelt–Huang. Given a real-analytic CR mapping of a hyperquadric (not equivalent to a sphere) to another hyperquadric $Q(A,B)$ , either the image of the mapping is contained in a complex affine subspace, or $A$ is bounded by a constant depending only on $B$ . Finally, we prove a stability result about existence of nontrivial CR mappings of hyperquadrics. That is, as long as both $A$ and $B$ are sufficiently large and comparable, then there exist CR mappings whose image is not contained in a hyperplane. The rigidity result also extends when mapping to hyperquadrics in infinite dimensional Hilbert-space.  相似文献

Unsymmetrical dispiro- and spirotetraoxanes have been designed and synthesized via acid-catalyzed cyclocondensation of bis(hydroperoxides) with ketones. Incorporation of water-soluble and polar functionalities, via reductive amination and amide bond formation, produces several analogues with low nanomolar in vitro antimalarial activity. Several analogues display an unprecedented level of oral antimalarial activity for this class of endoperoxide drug.  相似文献

In the present work the polymerization of ε-caprolactone (ε-CL) using Ph2Zn as initiator is reported. The effects of reaction temperature, molar ratio of monomer/initiator and reaction time on the yield and the molecular weight are investigated. The temperature is varied between 20 and 120 °C and the molar ratio of monomer to initiator between 200 and 800 mol/mol. The results indicate that the Ph2Zn induces the polymerization of ε-CL to high conversion and produces polymer with high molecular weight at temperatures around 40-60 °C.  相似文献
