Further studies on the RuO4-catalyzed oxidative polycyclization of isoprenoid polyenes have been carried out. The configuration of the tris-THF product from the oxidation of geranylgeranyl acetate has been determined by a combination of spectral and chemical correlation methods. The oxidation of (E,Z)-farnesyl acetate, synthesized from nerol, has been carried out. This process stops at the first cyclization indicating that an E configuration of the Δ6 double bond is needed for the second cyclization to occur. The results are discussed in comparison with previous knowledge on the related Re(VII) polycyclization of polyenic bis-homoallylic alcohols.  相似文献

Melatonin was determined in pharmaceutical preparations by means of two simple and reliable analytical methods based on micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC) and spectrofluorimetry. The fluorescence emission values were measured at λ=350 nm when exciting at λ=275 nm. The MEKC analysis was achieved using a system consisting of 40 mM SDS in phosphate buffer (20 mM, pH 7.5). The extraction of melatonin from the tablets was achieved by means of a simple one-step dissolution with methanol/water. Both methods were applied for the determination of melatonin in commercial formulations and galenic preparations. The MEKC procedure allows the quantitative determination of melatonin in all pharmaceutical preparations tested. On the contrary, the spectrofluorimetric method is not suitable for tablets which also contain tryptophan; this interference can be eliminated by a suitable liquid-liquid extraction procedure. The results obtained with the two methods are in good agreement and satisfactory in terms of precision and accuracy.  相似文献

Resinous materials, generally added to drying oils, were often employed as final protective films in paintings, both in tempera and oil techniques. Most of the resins used in fine arts come from exudates of plants. Natural resins are mainly composed by terpenoids. Among these resins, dammar, rosin, mastic, elemi gum, Venice turpentine were frequently employed in easel paintings. The aim of this work is the identification of natural resins in samples collected from works of art. In this paper we propose to use micro-FTIR spectrometry as a preliminary and non destructive technique to detect the presence of resinous materials in microsamples collected from paintings, followed by GC-MS analyses to obtain a precise identification of the resin. To reach this aim commercial resins, employed as standard, were analysed previously by micro-FTIR spectrometry and then analysed by GC-MS chromatography, searching characteristic chemical compounds used as "markers" of resins. The results obtained on standards allowed us to successfully analyse samples collected from two works of art: the "Portrait of a Young Gentleman", by Lorenzo Lotto (XVI century), and the "Madonna with the Infant Jesus and Saints": by Carlo Maratta (XVII secolo).  相似文献

2 a and 2 b , [Ir(CI)(COD)(NHC)] (COD=1,5-cyclooctadiene), have been prepared via transmetallation from NHC−Ag complexes. [Rh(CI)(COD)(NHC)] ( 4 ) was prepared analogously. [Ir({κ-C,N-(NHC-acetamide−1H)}(COD)] ( 3 c ) has been synthesized via transmetallation from the deprotonated NHC−Ag complex. [IrCp*({κ-C,N-(NHC-acetamide−1H)}] ( 5 ) (Cp*=pentamethylcyclopentadienyl), has been obtained analogously. [Ir(CI)(CO)2(NHC)] ( 6 ) and [Ir({κ-C,N-(NHC-acetamide−1H)}(CO)2] ( 7 ) have been prepared by carbonylation of 2 b and 3 c , respectively. The catalytic activity of these complexes has been evaluated in the dehydrogenation of formic acid, under solventless conditions, in the presence of water as a cosolvent, and in a 5 : 2 HCOOH/Et3N mixture, with the best TOF values being obtained in the case of the latter. Stoichiometric experiments suggest COD hydrogenation as the preactivation step.  相似文献

Oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is the most critical step in water splitting, still limiting the development of efficient alkaline water electrolyzers. Here we investigate the OER activity of Au–Fe nanoalloys obtained by laser-ablation synthesis in solution. This method allows a high amount of iron (up to 11 at %) to be incorporated into the gold lattice, which is not possible in Au–Fe alloys synthesized by other routes, due to thermodynamic constraints. The Au0.89Fe0.11 nanoalloys exhibit strongly enhanced OER in comparison to the individual pure metal nanoparticles, lowering the onset of OER and increasing up to 20 times the current density in alkaline aqueous solutions. Such a remarkable electrocatalytic activity is associated to nanoalloying, as demonstrated by comparative examples with physical mixtures of gold and iron nanoparticles. These results open attractive scenarios to the use of kinetically stable nanoalloys for catalysis and energy conversion.  相似文献

G-quadruplexes (G4s) are peculiar DNA or RNA tertiary structures that are involved in the regulation of many biological events within mammalian cells, bacteria, and viruses. Although their role as versatile therapeutic targets has been emphasized for 35 years, G4 selectivity over ubiquitous double-stranded DNA/RNA, as well as G4 differentiation by small molecules, still remains challenging. Here, a new amphiphilic dicyanovinyl-substituted squaraine, SQgl , is reported to act as an NIR fluorescent light-up probe discriminating an extensive panel of parallel G4s while it is non-fluorescent in the aggregated state. The squaraine can form an unconventional sandwich π-complex binding two quadruplexes, which leads to a strongly fluorescent (ΦF=0.61) supramolecular architecture. SQgl is highly selective against non-quadruplex and non-parallel G4 sequences without altering their topology, as desired for applications in selective in vivo high-resolution imaging and theranostics.  相似文献

Structural (X‐ray diffraction), melting (differential scanning calorimetry), as well as mechanical (tensile tests) characterizations on uncrosslinked ethene–propene copolymer samples, obtained using a metallocene‐based catalytic system and having an ethene content in the range 80–50% by mol, are reported. Samples with an ethene content in the range 80–60% by mol present a disordered pseudohexagonal crystalline phase, whose melting moves from ≈ 40°C down to ≈ −20°C as the ethene content is reduced. The dramatic influence of the crystalline phase on tensile properties of uncrosslinked ethene–propene copolymers is shown. In particular, highest elongation at break values are obtained for samples being essentially amorphous in the unstretched state and partially crystallizing under stretching. On the other hand, lowest tension set values (most elastic behavior) are observed for samples presenting, already in the unstretched state, microcrystalline domains acting as physical crosslinks in a prevailing amorphous phase. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The kinetics of ethene and propene polymerization at 20–60°C in the presence of the homogeneous catalyst system rac‐Me2Si(2‐methyl‐4‐phenyl‐1‐indenyl)2ZrCl2/methylaluminoxane was investigated by means of stopped‐flow techniques. The specific rate of chain propagation, measured at the very short reaction times typical of this method, turned out to be ≈102 times higher for ethene than for propene; this suggests that diffusion limitations through the poly(ethylene) precipitating at longer reaction times may be responsible for the fact that the two monomers polymerize instead at comparable rates under “standard” conditions. It was also found that the concentration of active sites is significantly lower than the analytical Zr concentration.  相似文献
