The typical activation of a fourth generation Ziegler–Natta catalyst TiCl4/MgCl2/phthalate with triethyl aluminum generates Ti3+ centers that are investigated by multi‐frequency continuous wave and pulse EPR methods. Two families of isolated, molecule‐like Ti3+ species have been identified. A comparison of the experimentally derived g tensors and 35,37Cl hyperfine and nuclear‐quadrupole tensors with DFT‐computed values suggests that the dominant EPR‐active Ti3+ species is located on MgCl2(110) surfaces (or equivalent MgCl2 terminations with tetra‐coordinated Mg). O2 reactivity tests show that a fraction of these Ti sites is chemically accessible, an important result in view of the search for the true catalyst active site in olefin polymerization.  相似文献

Three (donor–π–acceptor)+ systems with a methyl pyridinium or quinolinium as the electron‐deficient group, a dimethyl amino as the electron‐donor group, and an ethylene or butadiene group as the spacer have been investigated in a joint spectroscopic and TD‐DFT computational study. A negative solvatochromism has been revealed in the absorption spectra, which implies a solution color change, and interpreted by considering the variation in the permanent dipole moment modulus and orientation upon photoexcitation. The fluorescence efficiency decreases upon increasing solvent polarity, in agreement with the excited‐state optimized geometries (planar in low‐polarity media and twisted in high‐polarity media). Femtosecond transient absorption has revealed the occurrence of a fast photoinduced intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) and the molecular factors that determine an efficient ICT. Considering the crucial role of the ICT in tuning the nonlinear optical (NLO) properties, these compounds can be considered promising NLO materials.  相似文献

The spectroscopic properties and liquid structure of pure tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP) and FeCl3/TBP solutions have been investigated by Uv–Vis and Raman spectroscopies, X-ray diffraction and conductometry. Uv–Vis and Raman spectra, supported by conductometric measurements, consistently indicate that the solubilized salt is present mostly as TBP n [FeCl3???n ] n+ and FeCl4 ? complex ions due to specific interaction with the TBP phosphate group. Thanks to this interaction, a high amount of salt (up to 13 % w/w) can be dissolved despite the relatively low dielectric constant of TBP. The X-ray diffractogram of pure TBP has been interpreted in terms of three main contributions which can be attributed to spatial pair correlations between atoms of interacting TBP molecules. In the presence of increasing FeCl3 amounts, it has been observed a progressive structuring effect, exerted by the dissolved salt, on the layers of opportunely oriented TBP molecules due to the formation of the complex ionic species. By simple treatment with NaBH4, the synthesis of Fe nanoparticles has been achieved. The absence of water, the easiness of preparation, the high amount of salt which can be suspended and the peculiar physico-chemical properties of such systems are all elements worth of note for the fields of nanoparticle synthesis and for specialized technological applications.  相似文献

In a seminal work, Boneh, Sahai and Waters (BSW) [TCC’11] showed that for functional encryption the indistinguishability notion of security (IND-Security) is weaker than simulation-based security (SIM-Security), and that SIM-Security is in general impossible to achieve. This has opened up the door to a plethora of papers showing feasibility and new impossibility results. Nevertheless, the quest for better definitions that (1) overcome the limitations of IND-Security and (2) the known impossibility results, is still open. In this work, we explore the benefits and the limits of using efficient rewinding black-box simulators to argue security. To do so, we introduce a new simulation-based security definition, that we call rewinding simulation-based security (RSIM-Security), that is weaker than the previous ones but it is still sufficiently strong to not meet pathological schemes as it is the case for IND-Security (that is implied by the RSIM). This is achieved by retaining a strong simulation-based flavour but adding more rewinding power to the simulator having care to guarantee that it can not learn more than what the adversary would learn in any run of the experiment. What we found is that for RSIM  the BSW impossibility result does not hold and that IND-Security is equivalent to RSIM-Security for attribute-based encryption in the standard model. Nevertheless, we prove that there is a setting where rewinding simulators are of no help. The adversary can put in place a strategy that forces the simulator to rewind continuously.  相似文献

Summary An elasto-plastic beam-column model withn degrees of freedom statically loaded with an axial compressive force is considered. Its dynamic behaviour in the elasto-plastic range, resulting from the action of a transversal distributed force periodically varying in time in condition of resonance with the structure in the elastic range, is examined. The principal differences with previous results obtained with one degree of freedom model are showed.
Sommario Si considera un modello adn gradi di libertà di un'asta elasto plastica sollecitata staticamente da una forza assiale di compressione. Se ne esamina la risposta, in campo elasto plastico, ad un carico trasversale distribuito, variabile con legge armonica ed in condizioni di risonanza con la struttura in campo elastico, evidenziando le principali differenze rispetto alle conclusioni tratte in precedenza utilizzando schemi ad un grado di libertà.

Abstract. Active control of oscillations of a suspended cable under transversal wind, described by a constant term and a fluctuating turbulent component, is dealt with. Control of transversal in-plane and out-of-plane oscillations is performed by imposing a longitudinal motion to one support; the control law depends, linearly or quadratically, on measures of displacement and velocity of a selected point. First, the steady-state oscillations around the planar static configuration, determined by the wind constant component, under sinusoidal in-plane and out-of-plane loading are studied, showing the nonlinear behaviour in the regions of primary and parametric resonance and the effects of the control action. Afterwards, attention is focused on the response of the cable to transversal wind turbulence, whose fluctuating component is described by a random process with an assigned spectral density. The effectiveness of longitudinal control is analysed by means of numerical investigations.Sommario. Si analizza il controllo attivo delle oscillazioni di un cavo sospeso, sottoposto all'azione di un vento agente in direzione ortogonale al piano del cavo e descritto mediante un termine di carico costante ed una componente variabile di turbolenza. Il controllo delle oscillazioni piane e spaziali viene realizzato mediante spostamento longitudinale di uno degli appoggi; la legge di controllo dipende linearmente o quadraticamente da misure di spostamento e velocità di un punto prescelto. In una prima fase, vengono studiate le oscillazioni stazionarie sotto carichi sinusoidali agenti rispettivamente nel piano e fuori del piano del cavo, intorno alla configurazione di equilibrio statico determinata dalla presenza della componente costante del vento, mostrando il comportamento nonlineare nelle regioni di risonanza primaria e parametrica e gli effetti dell'azione di controllo. Successivamente, si focalizza l'attenzione sulla risposta del cavo alla componente trasversale di turbolenza del vento, la quale è descritta da un processo stocastico a media nulla con densità spettrale assegnata. L'efficacia del controllo viene analizzata attraverso un'indagine numerica.  相似文献

The nonlinear oscillations of a controlled suspended elastic cable under in-plane excitation are considered. Active control realized by longitudinal displacement of one support is introduced in order to reduce the transverse in-plane and out-of-plane vibrations. Linear and quadratic enhanced velocity feedback control laws are chosen and their effects on the cable motion are investigated using a two degree-of-freedom model. Perturbation analysis is performed to determine the in-plane steady-state solutions and their stability under an out-of-plane disturbance. The analysis is extended to the bifurcated two-mode steady-state oscillations in the region of parametric excitation. The dependence of the control effectiveness on the system parameters is investigated in the case of the first symmetric mode and the range of oscillation amplitudes in which the proposed control ensures a dissipation of energy is determined. Although control based only on in-plane response quantities is effective in reducing oscillations with a prevailing in-plane component, addition of out-of-plane measures has to be considered when the motion is characterized by two comparable components.  相似文献

The copper(II) complex of a modified cyclodextrin, namely 6-mono-deoxy-6-[4-(2-aminoethyl)imidazolyl]-β-CD (CDmh), previously synthesized and characterized in our laboratory and already used as chiral selector for ligand exchange capillary electrophoresis (LECE) with optical detection, is investigated here in LECE using electrospray-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) as the detection device. The potential of this hyphenated method is compared with the results previously obtained with optical detection by studying the chiral resolution of tryptophan racemate. Chiral separation conditions compatible with LECE-ESI-MS could be achieved based on the figures of merit obtained by LECE-UV. Interestingly, the values of LOD obtained by LECE-ESI-MS were significantly better than those obtained by LECE-UV and thus, ESI-MS detection seems to open new perspectives in chiral separations by LECE.  相似文献

Results from tests aimed at optimizing an instrumental procedure for the direct and fast determination of uranium in solution by laser fluorescence are presented. A comparison of sample fluorescence measured using different fluorescence enhancing reagents was performed: sodium pyrophosphate, orthophosphoric acid, sulphuric acid and a commercially available fluorescence enhancer were tested for the determination of uranium. From the experimental results, 0.01 M Na4P2O7·10H2O showed the best performance. Effects of reagent pH, different matrices, different concentrations of dissolved Th, and sample volume were investigated. Applications of the improved procedure for the determination of uranium in samples arising from UO2-based high level nuclear waste dissolution studies are described.  相似文献
