The physical meaning of bare and dressed scattering matrix singularities has been investigated. Special attention has been attributed to the role of the well-known invariance of the scattering matrix with respect to the field transformation of the effective Lagrangian. The general expression of the nucleon-nucleus optical potential has been obtained using Watson's multiple scattering theory and Wolfenstein's parametrization of the nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitude. The resulting theoretical potential is nonlocal and consists of an energy-independent central volume plus surface real and imaginary potential and of a Thomas-like spin-orbit term. The analysis has been restricted to N = Z spherical nuclei, so that neither isospin-isospin nor spin-spin interactions have been included. The widely used Perey-Buck, Greenlees, and Watson expressions of the optical potential are easily obtained as particular cases. For practical purposes, the nonlocal potential has been parametrized in the Frahn-Lemmer form, using Woods-Saxon radial form factors, and the equivalent local potential (ELP) has been calculated by a Perey-Buck-like transformation.The ELP has a radial behavior very similar to the original nonlocal one, but the potential depths and radii are energy dependent. The six free parameters in the ELP have been adjusted to fit the available experimental data in the ?70 to + 150 MeV range of interest in nuclear reactions, namely, energies of single hole and single particle states, charge distributions, proton elastic scattering cross sections, and polarizations. The fitted potential depths show an energy dependence in remarkable agreement with the model predictions with a central nonlocality range β ? 1 F and a spin-orbit nonlocality range β3 ? 0.8 F. The relative importance of surface and volume dependence in the real central potential in also discussed.  相似文献

A Mössbauer spectroscopy study has been made of the stabilization states of 57Fe in pure tin chalcogenides. The values of the isomer shifts and the quadrupole splittings lead to the conclusion that iron presents the electronic configuration 3d54sx at high spin in the interstitial position. This result is confirmed varying the 57Fe neighbours by partial substitution of tellurium with oxygen. In this case, too, the values of Mössbauer parameters confirm the same results. The quadrupole moment present in pure SnTe doped 57Co, and the shift of isomer shift towards less positive values for the oxidizated samples have been qualitatively justified as well.  相似文献

The reactivity with air moisture of finely divided crystals of Na β and Li+-containing β-aluminas is analyzed with thermogravimetric and X-ray techniques. For Na β-alumina two distinct water intake processes are evident: 1) a fast one, controlled by the elastic interactions among water molecules near the crystal boundaries; 2) a slow one, driven by water diffusion away from the boundaries. For finely divided crystals of Li β-alumina the two processes cannot be distinguished but the slow one is observable in crystals of macroscopic dimensions. The water intake is generally accompanied by an expansion of the c-axis. However, the relationship between water content and c-parameter is highly non-linear and the c-axis length at room temperature depends upon the thermal history of the sample. Our results confirm previous reports suggesting that β-aluminas absorb about one water molecule per cation of the conducting plane.  相似文献

Two models for the Freedericksz transition in a fluctuating magnetic field are considered: one is based on a dichotomic and the other on a nonlinear Gaussian noise. Both noises are characterized by a finite correlation time. It is shown that the linear response assumption leading to the best Fokker-Planck approximation in the dichotomic and nonlinear Gaussian cases can be trusted only up to the order 1 and 0, respectively. The role of the corrections to the linear response approximation is discussed and it is shown how to replace the non-Fokker-Planck terms stemming from these corrections with equivalent terms of standard type. This technique is shown to produce perfect agreement with the exact analytical results (dichotomic noise) and to satisfactorily fit the results of analog simulation (nonlinear Gaussian noise).  相似文献

In this paper we present a double plasmonic Vivaldi antenna for on-chip optical wireless communication. The proposed antenna is a two-element broadside array fed by a silicon waveguide. The designs of the power splitter and of the hybrid Si-plasmonic coupler used for antenna excitation are described in detail. The array radiation characteristics are optimized through Finite Difference Time Domain simulations and the performance of a point-to-point link is evaluated. The proposed double Vivaldi array increases the gain of 3 dB with respect to a single antenna, improving the received power on a link of 6 dB when the double antenna is used for both transmitting and receiving sections.  相似文献
