Summary The free energy of the acidic ammonium sulfate is a good precondition its use as an additive or reagent for decomposition of natural phosphates on the way to obtain NPS or NPKS complex fertilizers. During our previous studies it was confirmed that as a result of thermo-mechanical treatment new solid phases are formed as a result of the phosphates decomposition. The aim of this study is to find out appropriate conditions for thermal treatment of Tunisia phosphorite with ammonium sulfate where the content of P2O5 soluble forms has its maximum. The process was investigated under dynamic thermal conditions. Structure and phase transformations of the mixtures to intermediate and final solid products are confirmed by different techniques. X-ray powder diffraction, infrared spectroscopy and electron microscopy have been applied successfully and relationship found between phase structure and thermal treatment applied. As a result of the complex studies optimal temperatures are determined. The solid products under optimal conditions contain phosphorous in soluble forms available for plants in the soil. As a final it is concluded that the final products could be used as complex mineral fertilizers.  相似文献

De novo site-specific 13C and 15N backbone and sidechain resonance assignments are presented for uniformly enriched E. coli thioredoxin, established using two-dimensional homo- and heteronuclear solid-state magic angle spinning NMR correlation spectroscopy. Backbone dihedral angles and secondary structure were derived from the statistical analysis of the secondary chemical shifts, and are in good agreement with solution values for the intact full-length thioredoxin, with the exception of a small number of residues located at the termini of the individual secondary structure elements. A large number of cross-peaks observed in the DARR spectra with long mixing times correspond to the pairs of carbon atoms separated by 4-6 angstroms, suggesting that DARR could be efficiently employed for observation of medium- and long-range correlations. The 108 amino acid residue E. coli thioredoxin is the largest uniformly enriched protein assigned to this degree of completeness by solid-state NMR spectroscopy to date. It is anticipated that with a combination of two-dimensional correlation experiments and high magnetic fields, resonance assignments and secondary structure can be generally derived for other noncrystalline proteins.  相似文献

The potential of 1.7 μm ethylene bridged hybrid silica phase was investigated for the separation of twelve imidazolium-based ionic liquid cations. U-shaped retention profile was observed for all solutes with an increase in retention at both low and high acetonitrile content. Chromatographic behaviour of imidazolium cations in both hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC) and per aqueous liquid chromatography (PALC) modes was studied by varying key parameters such as buffer concentration and pH, acid additive, organic modifier and column temperature. Experimental data provided some evidences that under PALC conditions cationic solutes are retained predominantly by mixed hydrophobic/ion-exchange interactions. In the HILIC mode, both partitioning and ion-exchange interactions are responsible for the retention of solutes. Compared to PALC, HILIC provided significantly higher efficiencies with less or even no peak tailing, better separation selectivity and greater resistance to overload. In PALC mode gradient elution was required to achieve adequate retentivity of all solutes but selectivity was not sufficient to distinguish between solutes with very similar hydrophobicity. In contrast, under HILIC conditions twelve solutes were almost completely resolved in less than 4 min by using isocratic elution. Summarizing, it could be concluded that ethylene bridged hybrid silica column providing a dual retention mechanism offers the possibility of selecting between the two retention modes with opposite separation selectivity, just by changing the composition of the mobile phase.  相似文献

Dinuclear three-coordinate Au(I) complex [Au2{(Ph2Sb)2O}3](ClO4)2 1 displays an interesting phosphorescent behavior in which a large Stokes' shift is observed. Ab initio calculations show that the main distortion for the first triplet excited state, which is responsible for the luminescence behavior of complex 1, is a Jahn-Teller distortion for only one of the Au(I) centers together with a gold-gold distance shortening. This behavior could be extrapolated to other phosphorescent dinuclear three-coordinate Au(I) complexes.  相似文献

Brominated phenols 2- and 4-bromophenol (2-BP and 4-BP); 2,4- and 2,6-dibromophenol (2,4-DBP and 2,6-DBP) and 2,4,6-tribromophenol (2,4,6-TBP) have been identified as key flavor compounds found in seafoods. Depending on their concentrations, they were responsible for marine or ocean flavor (shrimp/crab/fish/sea salt-like) or for phenolic/iodine/iodoform-like off-flavor. In this work a new analytical methodology was developed to determine, simultaneously, such bromophenols in fish meats, based on reversed-phased high-performance liquid chromatographic separation (RP-HPLC). The separation of bromophenols was made onto a Lichrospher 100 RP-18 column using water:acetonitrile gradient at a flow rate of 1.0 mL min−1, using absorbance detection at 286 nm, were the 2-BP, 4-BP, 2,4- and 2,6-DBP show significant absorbtivity values and at 297 nm for 2,4,6-TBP. They were separated in 20 min with a good chromatographic resolution (Rs) for the isomeric compounds: 2- and 4-BP, Rs = 1.23; 2,4- and 2,6-DBP, Rs = 1.63. The calibration curves were linear in the bromophenols concentration range of 200.0-1000 ng mL−1. Under optimized conditions, the detection limit of the HPLC method was 127 ng mL−1 for 2-BP; 179 ng mL−1 for 4-BP; 89.0 ng mL−1 for 2,4-DBP; 269 ng mL−1 for 2,6-DBP and 232 ng mL−1 for 2,4,6-TBP. This method has been applied in determination of bromophenols, isolated by combined steam distillation-solvent extraction with 2 mL of pentane/diethyl ether (6:4), from Brazilian fishes samples, collected on the Atlantic coast of Bahia (13°01′S and 38°31′W), Brazil. The concentration range determined were 0.20 ng g−1 (2-BP) to 299 ng g−1 (2,4,6-TBP). The method proposed here is rapid and suitable for simultaneous quantification of simple bromophenols in fish meat. As long as we know, it is the first analytical methodology, using RP-HPLC/UV, which was developed to determine simple bromophenols in fish meat.  相似文献

A key part of the optimization of small molecules in pharmaceutical inhibitor development is to vary the molecular design to enhance complementarity of chemical features of the compound with the positioning of amino acids in the active site of a target enzyme. Typically this involves iterations of synthesis, to modify the compound, and biophysical assay, to assess the outcomes. Selective targeting of the anti-cancer carbonic anhydrase isoform XII (CA XII), this process is challenging because the overall fold is very similar across the twelve CA isoforms. To enhance drug development for CA XII we used a reverse engineering approach where mutation of the key six amino acids in the active site of human CA XII into the CA II isoform was performed to provide a protein chimera (chCA XII) which is amenable to structure-based compound optimization. Through determination of structural detail and affinity measurement of the interaction with over 60 compounds we observed that the compounds that bound CA XII more strongly than CA II, switched their preference and bound more strongly to the engineered chimera, chCA XII, based on CA II, but containing the 6 key amino acids from CA XII, behaved as CA XII in its compound recognition profile. The structures of the compounds in the chimeric active site also resembled those determined for complexes with CA XII, hence validating this protein engineering approach in the development of new inhibitors.  相似文献

A new capillary electrophoretic approach for simultaneous separation of fast anions and cations is demonstrated. Indirect UV detection at 214 nm in conjunction with electromigration sampling from both ends of the capillary was developed. Two electrolyte systems based on imidazole-nitrate and copper(II)-ethylenediamine-nitrate were investigated for the simultaneous separation of chloride, sulphate, hydrocarbonate, potassium, ammonium, calcium, sodium and magnesium ions. Experimental parameters that were evaluated included a nature of UV chromophore, pH of electrolyte, a nature of complexing agent. The method permits the excellent separation of three anions and five cations in only 4 min using electrolyte system containing 2.5 mmol l−1 Cu(NO3)2, 5 mmol l−1 ethylenediamine and 1 mmol l−1 fumaric acid at pH 8.5 adjusted with tetraethylammonium hydroxide.  相似文献
