The chemical composition of cerium-doped silica coatings prepared via sol-gel were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) in conjunction with Ar+-ion sputtering, Rutherford back-scattering spectroscopy (RBS) and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. XPS results showed that cerium was incorporated in the silica network as Ce(III). The absence of PL emissions from Ce(III) was explained by a clustering of the ions producing a quenching of the luminescence. XPS combined with Ar+ and RBS showed that the distribution of Ce is not uniform across the coating, showing a maximum concentration in an inner layer of the coating. 相似文献

Two SIMCA models were developed for the classification of acyclic octene isomers, which only form a fraction of a very complex product mixture obtained, for example, from the transformation of 1-butene. The effects of spectral transformation, namely autocorrelation and logarithmic intensity ratios transforms, and (square-root) scaling of the octane isomers mass-spectral data were investigated. Both the spectral-features preprocessing methods and scaling were found to be vital for an adequate development and improvement of the classification models. The best SIMCA models were successfully applied on gas-chromatography-mass spectroscopy (GC-MS) analysis collected from the dimerization of 1-butene over heterogeneous catalysts in the liquid phase. 相似文献

2-Methoxyethanol chemical ionization of amines, carboxylic acids and amino acids has been found to produce numerous adduct ions. The most intense adduct ions for amines are [M + H](+) and [M + 77](+), for carboxylic acids [M + 27](+), [M + 59](+) and [M + 77](+), and for amino acids [M + H](+), [M + 13](+), [M + 27](+) and [M + 77](+). Either the adduct ion [M + H](+) or [M + 77](+) was the most abundant ion found for amino acids. The proton affinities of amino acids are noticed to control the formation of the [M + H](+) and [M + 77](+) ions. This paper presents a detailed experimental assessment of the effect of the thickness of flat energy directors (ED) on heat generation at the interface during ultrasonic welding. Power and displacement data showed clear differences caused by the change of thickness, related to heat concentration at the weld line during the process. The extent of the heat-affected zone was assessed by welding specimens without consolidation at different stages of the process. It was confirmed through optical microscopy that heat is generated at the interface and transferred to the bulk adherends earlier in the process for thinner ED. The analysis of their fracture surface under optimum welding conditions revealed signs of matrix degradation, leading to less consistent quality, likely due to faster heat generation rate in both the ED and the substrates, and incidentally, higher temperatures surrounding the energy director. 相似文献

The structures of two conformationally restricted 4,5‐dihydroxynorvaline analogues with a norbornane skeleton, namely methyl (1S,2S,3R,4R)‐2‐benzamido‐3‐(1,2‐dihydroxyethyl)bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane‐2‐carboxylate, C18H23NO5, and methyl (1R,2S,3R,4S)‐2‐benzamido‐3‐(1,2‐dihydroxyethyl)bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane‐2‐carboxylate, C18H23NO5, exhibit a conformation in the helical region of the ?,ψ map but their handedness is opposite. In both cases, the torsion angles (χ1,1) giving the relative orientation of the 1,2‐dihydroxyethyl group of the amino acid side chain and the benzamide group of the peptide chain indicate that these groups adopt a nearly eclipsed conformation. The weakly nonlinear stability due to an axisymmetric disturbance of two immiscible liquids with different viscosities in a pipe is worked out. The most important conclusions drawn from this work are the independence of the Reynolds number in the stability criterion, the existence of stable waves with sawtooth profile when the more viscous fluid is located at the core and it occupies most of the pipe, and the destabilizing effect of the surface tension, effect that can be overtaken by the stabilizing effect due to the difference in viscosity of the two fluids, when the viscosity of the ring fluid is much smaller than the viscosity of the core fluid and the thickness of the ring flow is smaller than the thickness of the core flow. 相似文献

An aminocatalytic privileged diversity-oriented synthesis (ApDOS) strategy utilizing trienamine catalysis for the construction of diverse and complex thiopyrans-piperidone fused rings through a thia-Diels–Alder/nucleophilic ring-closing sequence by using dithioamides as activated heterodienophiles is reported. Following this strategy, a super cascade reaction to assemble nine fused rings can be achieved by employing a bis-dithioamide. Additionally, by linking an indole moiety on the dithioamide, a Pictet–Spengler type reaction can be promoted once the cascade sequence has been achieved, leading to more complex penta- hexa- and heptacyclic fused ring derivatives in a one-pot process. This investigation opens new perspectives for the synthesis of a new class of complex and diverse thiopyrans that contribute to populate new relevant regions in the chemical space. 相似文献
