Quince (Cydonia oblonga Mill.) is a potential source of polyphenolic compounds related with beneficial biological processes. In this study polyphenols from quince fruit were extracted with aqueous acetone at different ratios. A polyphenol profile was identified and quantified by LC-ESI-QqQ. The antioxidant capacity (ORAC and DPPH) and anti-inflammatory effect (inhibition of COX-2 cyclooxygenase) were evaluated in vitro. The results indicated an effect of the aqueous acetone ratio on the extraction of polyphenolic compounds. The higher extraction yields of polyphenolic compounds were attained with 60–75% aqueous acetone. However, extracts obtained with 85% aqueous acetone promoted higher antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Optimal scaling analysis indicated that hydroxycinnamic acids (quinic and chlorogenic), hydroxybenzoic acids (vanillic and syringic), flavonoids (quercetin and kaempferol), dihydrochalcones (neohesperidin) and flavones (acacetin) are related to the antioxidant activity of quince. While phenolic acids, flavonols (kaempferol-3-O-glucoside and rutin) and flavanols (epicatechin) generated the anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting 52.3% of the COX-2 enzyme. Therefore, a selective extraction of phenolic mix can reduce oxidative stress or inflammatory processes. This suggests the use of quince as a natural source with significant nutraceutical potential.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to provide a consistent thin layer theory for some Non-Newtonian fluids that are incompressible and flowing down an inclined plane under the effect of gravity. We shall provide a better understanding of the derivation of Shallow Water models in the case of power-law fluids and Bingham fluids. The method is based on asymptotic expansions of solutions of the Cauchy Momentum equations in the Shallow Water scaling and in the neighbourhood of steady solutions so that we can close the average equations on the fluid height h and the total discharge rate q. Such a method has been first introduced in the case of Newtonian fluids where the computations are proved to be rigorous (Vila, in preparation [20]; Bresch and Noble, 2007 [9]) whereas the more complex case of arbitrary topography has been treated formally (Boutounet et al., 2008 [5]). The well posedness of the free surface Cauchy Momentum equations for these Non-Newtonian fluids is still an open problem: the computations carried out here are only formal.  相似文献

In this paper is presented the study of altitude profile of atmospheric ions in the lower troposphere. The theoretical model, constructed to interpret the measurement results, was based on the influence of radon and the aerosols on the air ion concentration. Based on this model, we can determine the recombination and attachment coefficients, and find out the parameters which influence on the coefficients of the functional relations of the measurements results. The consistency of the theoretical model and the experimental results is very good.  相似文献

Direct square-wave voltammetry (SWV) and square-wave cathodic stripping voltammetry (SWCSV) at hanging mercury drop electrodes have been developed for determination of the psychoactive 1,4-benzodiazepine compounds clonazepam, bromazepam, midazolam, diazepam, medazepam, and flurazepam over a wide range of concentrations. Analysis was performed with better precision, lower detection limits, and much more rapidly than by previously reported voltammetric techniques.The applicability of both procedures is discussed. The methods were applied to the analysis of commercially available tablets with minimum sample manipulation. The accuracy of the results was accessed by comparison with those obtained by use of the methods described in official pharmacopoeias. A critical comparison with those procedures is also presented.  相似文献

In this work, a new method to measure in contact the nonlinearity parameter beta of solid plates is presented. A high frequency (HF) tone-burst signal of 20 MHz is inserted in the material by a contact-transducer (with a suitable coupling). A low frequency (LF) pulse (2.5 MHz) is applied to the other face, in the opposite direction, so that the nonlinear interaction of the two waves takes place during the back propagation toward the HF transducer. This collinear interaction creates a phase modulation of the HF tone-burst which is proportional to the beta coefficient and the particle velocity of the LF wave. To determine this particle velocity, in time domain, an extended self-reciprocity calibration of the contact LF transducer is used. A numeric phase demodulation is then performed, giving the beta coefficient of the sample. The proposed method is validated by nonlinearity parameter measurements in Fused Silica. The nonlinear parameter of Fused Silica measured is found to be in good agreement with the literature, and specially the negative sign of this parameter.  相似文献
