The first example of a biocatalytic [2,3]‐sigmatropic rearrangement reaction involving allylic sulfides and diazo reagents (Doyle–Kirmse reaction) is reported. Engineered variants of sperm whale myoglobin catalyze this synthetically valuable C?C bond‐forming transformation with high efficiency and product conversions across a variety of sulfide substrates (e.g., aryl‐, benzyl‐, and alkyl‐substituted allylic sulfides) and α‐diazo esters. Moreover, the scope of this myoglobin‐mediated transformation could be extended to the conversion of propargylic sulfides to give substituted allenes. Active‐site mutations proved effective in enhancing the catalytic efficiency of the hemoprotein in these reactions as well as modulating the enantioselectivity, resulting in the identification of the myoglobin variant Mb(L29S,H64V,V68F), which is capable of mediating asymmetric Doyle–Kirmse reactions with an enantiomeric excess up to 71 %. This work extends the toolbox of currently available biocatalytic strategies for the asymmetric formation of carbon–carbon bonds.  相似文献

The present paper reports thermoluminescence (TL) glow curves of Eu3+-doped Y2O3 phosphor with different ultraviolet (UV) exposure times. The glow peak shows second-order kinetics of Eu3+-doped Y2O3, and corresponding kinetic parameters were evaluated using the peak shape method. Calculations of trap depth were carried out using different methods. The kinetics order, activation energy, and frequency factor were calculated. The recorded glow curve shifts towards higher intensity with longer UV exposure. The heating rate used for recording TL was 3.0 °C s?1. Particle size and structure were verified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern and morphology by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imaging.  相似文献

Berberis species are well known and used extensively as medicinal plants in traditional medicine. They have many medicinal values attributable to the presence of alkaloids having different pharmacological activities. In this study, a method was developed and validated as per international conference on harmonization guidelines using ultra high performance liquid chromatography with hybrid triple quadrupole‐linear ion trap mass spectrometry operated in the multiple reaction monitoring mode for nine bioactive compounds, including protoberberine alkaloids, aporphine alkaloids and chlorogenic acid. This method was applied in different plant parts of eight Berberis species to determine variations in content of nine bioactive compounds. The separation was achieved on an ACQUITY UPLC CSH? C18 column using a gradient mobile phase at flow rate 0.3 mL/min. Calibration curves for all the nine analytes provided optimum linear detector response (with R2 ≥0.9989) over the concentration range of 0.5–1000 ng/mL. The precision and accuracy were within RSDs ≤2.4 and ≤2.3%, respectively. The results indicated significant variation in the total contents of the nine compounds in Berberis species.  相似文献

An efficient, metal-free, catalyst-free and solvent-free methodology for the reductive amination of levulinic acid with different anilines has been developed using HBpin as the reducing reagent. This protocol offers an excellent method to avoid solvents and added catalysts on the synthesis of different kinds of N-substituted pyrrolidones under metal free conditions. It is also the first report for the synthesis of different pyrrolidones by solvent-free as well as catalyst-free methods. The proposed mechanism for the formation of pyrrolidone has been supported by DFT calculations and control experiments.  相似文献

Developing optimized hydrogel products requires an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms that drive hydrogel tunability. Here, we performed a full 4 × 4 factorial design study investigating the impact of gellan, a naturally derived polysaccharide (1%, 2%, 3%, or 4% w/v) and CaCl2 concentration (1, 3, 7, or 10 mM) on the viscoelastic, swelling, and drug release behavior of gellan hydrogels containing a model drug, vancomycin. These concentrations were chosen to specifically provide insight into gellan hydrogel behavior for formulations utilizing polymer and salt concentrations expanding beyond those commonly reported by previous studies exploring gellan. With increasing gellan and CaCl2 concentration, the hydrogel storage moduli (0.1–100 kPa) followed a power-law relationship and on average these hydrogels had higher liquid absorption capability and greater total drug release over 6 days. We suggest that the effects of gellan and CaCl2 concentration and their interactions on hydrogel properties can be explained by various phenomena that lead to increased swelling and increased resistance to network expansion.  相似文献

The natural pollution level due to gamma radiation was measured in about 22 residential houses around the Tehri Dam Project in Uttarakhand state by using Environmental Radiation Dosimeter. Both urban and rural houses were selected for the measurements. The recorded gamma dose rate in indoor atmosphere was found to vary from 25.1 μR/h to 67 μR/h with a mean value 38.6 μR/h whereas in traditional rural houses the obtained values varied from 42.6 μR/h to 83.5 μR/h with mean value 60.3 μR/h. In outdoor atmosphere, it was found to vary from 25.1 μR/h to 60 μR/h with an average value 35.8 μR/h. It is observed that the dose rates are higher in rural houses than that in modern houses. Efforts have also been made to observe deviation of dose rate in the underground (Power House) atmosphere of Tehri Dam Project in vertical and horizontal mode. It was observed that dose rate remain almost same in horizontal mode, but a significant variation has been found in the vertical mode. In addition, the variation of dose rate with type of building material, trend and mode of construction of houses and the age of houses are also discussed in detail.  相似文献

The kinetics of Ru(III) chloride-catalyzed oxidation of β-Alanine (NH3 +CH2CH2COOH, β-Ala) by N–bromophthalimide (NBP) in aqueous perchloric acid medium was studied at 35 °C. The rate law followed a first-order and zero-order dependence with respect to [NBP] and [β-Ala], respectively. The reaction followed first-order kinetics with respect to [Ru(III)] chloride at a range of low concentrations while the order changed from first- to zero-order at high concentration of [Ru(III)] chloride; demonstrating the catalytic effect for the oxidation of β-Ala by NBP. The rate decreased with increase in acidity. Chloride ions positively influenced the rate of the reaction. Neither phthalimide (NHP) nor Hg(II) influenced the reaction rate. Ionic strength (I) and dielectric constant (D) of the medium had no significant effect on the rate. Activation parameters of the reactions were determined by studying the reaction at different temperatures (30–50 °C). The colorimetric, FTIR, and GC-MS techniques were used to identify methyl cyanide (CH3CN) and CO2 as products of the reaction. In the reaction, approximately 2.3 moles of NBP oxidized one mole of β-Ala. A reaction scheme of the oxidation of β-Ala by NBP in the presence of Ru(III) chloride was found to be in consistent with the rate law and the reaction stoichiometry.  相似文献
