Summary Organometallic compounds of general formula (SCN)2M(NCSeHgR)2 (M=CoII, NiII, R=n-C5H11,i-C5H11) have been prepared. They behave as Lewis acids, forming complexes with pyridine and 2,2-bipyridyl, characterized by elemental analysis, molecular weight, molar conductance, i.r. spectral (4000–200 cm–1), electronic spectral and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The Lewis acids are monomeric with bridging thiocyanate, or selenocyanate between M2+ and Hg2+. Cobalt and nickel acquire tetrahedral and octahedral configurations respectively through axial bridging, whereas mercury retains its linearity. Pyridine links to the metal in the Lewis acid and forms L2(SCN)2M(NCSeHgR)2 complexes. Bipyridyl ruptures the NCX bridge and forms cationic-anionic [M(bipy)3][(NCS)(NCSe)HgR]2 complexes.  相似文献

Three new metal complexes [Cu(L)2] (1), [Co(L)2] (2) and [Zn(L)2] (3) have been prepared by the reaction of hydrated salts of metal (II) acetate with new Schiff base ligand HL, [2‐((4‐(dimethylamino)phenylimino)methyl)‐4,6‐di‐t‐butylphenol] and characterized by different physico‐chemical analyses such as elemental analysis, single XRD, 1H NMR, FTIR and UV–Vis spectroscopic techniques. Their biomolecular docking, antimicrobial and cytotoxicity studies have also been demonstrated. The proposed structure of Schiff base ligand HL and complex 2 are confirmed by Single crystal X‐ray crystallography study. This analysis revealed that metal (II) complexes remain in distorted tetrahedral coordination environments. The electronic properties such as HOMO and LUMO energies are carried out by gaseous phase DFT/B3LYP calculations using Gaussian 09 program. Complex 1 showed a good binding propensity to the DNA and HSA, during the assessment of docking studies. Schiff base ligand HL and its metal (II) complexes, 1–3 screened for their in vitro antimicrobial activities using the disc diffusion method against selected microbes. Complex 1 shows higher antimicrobial activity than complexes 2, 3 and Schiff base ligand HL. According to the results obtained from the cytotoxic studies, Schiff base ligand HL and its metal (II) complexes 1–3 have better cytotoxicity against MCF‐7 cell lines with potency higher than the currently used chemotherapeutic agent cyclophosphamide.  相似文献

ZnO nanocrystals are synthesized using the quenching method. The properties of the grown nanocrystals are studied using ultraviolet-vis spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, photoluminescence, electron diffraction, energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, and high resolution transmission electron microscopy. Current-voltage characteristics of the prepared samples are studied for investigating the possible application of the samples as switch and memristor.  相似文献

In the present study, the main protease 3CLpro and non-structural protein (NSP-12 with co-factors 7 and 8) trimer complex are used to study the protein-drug interactions with the phytochemicals from Ocimum Sanctum, Tinospora Cordifolia, Glycyrrhiza Glabra, and Azadirachta Indica. Which can give insight to be used as potent antiviral drugs against SARS-CoV-2. Twenty phytochemicals, five from each plant species, known for their wide range of biological activities were chosen from the literature. The in-silico study was carried out using virtual screening tools and the top five, which showed the least binding energies, were selected. Molecular docking tools revealed that gedunin and epoxy azadiradione proved to be excellent inhibitors for 3CLpro and so did Tinosporide for non-structural-protein complex. Further, the best-hit phytochemicals with respect to structure similarities with FDA drugs and investigatory drugs, were considered for comparative study. Molecular docking was done to check the drug-protein interactions and to check the inhibitory responses of these drugs against the viral protein. The analyses showed that the phytochemicals had similar responses on the protein complex but with exceptionally higher inhibitory responses hence which may be taken for further clinical study.  相似文献

A simple and efficient method, proceeding through a new mechanistic pathway, for the synthesis of spiro[indoline-3,4-thiopyrano[2.3-b]indole derivatives have been developed by exploiting the reaction of thieno[2,3-b]indole-2,3-dione with N-substituted isatilidenes. The compounds synthesized have been screened for antibacterial activity. The generality of the reaction and mechanistic rationale are presented.  相似文献

A solution phase strategy for the multiple parallel synthesis of a demonstration library of indazoles is described by which regio-selectivity problems inherent to previous syntheses of this nucleus are largely overcome. Synthesis of selected components proceeded satisfactorily indicating that a fully realized library of indazole analogs could readily be produced using this methodology. Simple modifications of the basic nucleophilic aromatic substitution route unambiguously produce a range of N-1 substitutions (alkyl, aryl and aralkyl) in 50-75% yields. Next a range of substituents was introduced at the C-3 position in 50-80% yields by O-alkylation. Careful choice of reagents and reaction conditions were required to prevent by-product formation due to competing alkylation at N-2 (trace to 15% yields). When present, these contaminants were readily removed by chromofiltration. A third diversity site was sketched in at C-5 in 75-90% yield by reductive alkylation or acylation. Screening of some of the demonstration library members in vitro revealed highly active antioxidants suggesting that producing a full library would be worthwhile.  相似文献
