Chemical and chromatographic stability of methacrylate-based monolithic columns bearing 3-N,N-diethylamino-2-hydroxypropyl (DEAE) and quarternary amine (QA) groups was studied. The leakage products from both monolithic columns were determined and the leakage of amines has been quantified in alkali solutions. Monolithic columns bearing QA functional groups being exposed to 1M sodium hydroxide solution for up to 3 months caused reduction of ion-exchange groups for approximately 12%, while for DEAE monolithic columns was only around 3% in 1 year. In 0.1M NaOH and 20% ethanol degradation was significantly lower. The main leaking compound from DEAE monolith was found to be 3-(diethylamino)-1,2-propanediol and 2,3-dihydroxypropyltrimethylammonium salt for QA monolith. During repeated 50 cleaning-in-place (CIP) cycles, no changes in chromatographic properties were detected. 相似文献

This article presents a practical transfer function type solution to a complex problem in which variations in a number of
parameters can be taken into account. A new mathematical model, which is based on mass balance transfer function of particles
movement/retention in porous media, has been derived. It is used to predict permeability reduction as a function of time.
The linear forms as well as the radial forms of the model are described. Although the differential equations derived are similar
to the general form of diffusion–convection equations, the marked difference is the suitability of the model, for being applied
for variation of parameters, such as particle concentration in the fluid, injection rate, density of solid particles, against
the depth and time of invasion. This transfer function has been solved, and the results of the simulation run agree reasonably
well with the experimental damage data obtained in laboratory. Owing to its simplicity, this model is more practical to describe

In this article, we first transform the telegraph equation into a system of partial differential equations. A novel molecularly imprinted polymer based on magnetic multiwalled carbon nanotubes was fabricated and applied for selective dispersive micro-solid phase extraction of fenitrothion prior its determination by ion mobility spectrometry. The composite was synthesized using magnetic multiwalled carbon nanotubes as the support. Methacrylic acid was used as the functional monomer, fenitrothion as the template, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the cross-linker, and 2,2-azoisobutyronitrile as the initiator. The resultant polymer was characterized by FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, Brunauer–Emmet–Teller analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and vibrating sample magnetometer techniques. Experimental factors affecting the extraction efficiency such as pH and amount of sorbent were evaluated. Under optimum experimental conditions, the developed method displayed the linear range of 5–220 μg/L with a detection limit of 1.3 μg/L. The intra- and interday relative standard deviations for determination of fenitrothion were 3.6 and 4.7% (n = 6), respectively. Given a bounded universe , we show how to perform predecessor searches in expected time, where Δ is the difference between the element being searched for and its predecessor in the structure, while supporting updates in expected amortized time, as well. This unifies the results of traditional bounded universe structures (which support predecessor searches in time) and hashing (which supports membership queries in time). We study straight-line drawings of planar graphs with few segments and few slopes. Optimal results are obtained for all trees. Tight bounds are obtained for outerplanar graphs, 2-trees, and planar 3-trees. We prove that every 3-connected plane graph on n vertices has a plane drawing with at most segments and at most 2n slopes. We prove that every cubic 3-connected plane graph has a plane drawing with three slopes (and three bends on the outerface).
